Through makemy trip, we have booked air tickets from cochin to bangalore, and the airline was air pegasus.

Flight no. : op-110
Date : 16 aug 2016
Airline pnr : pal48t
Amount paid : rs 10, 192/-

Flight was cancelled by air pagasus and accordingly mmt has informed that they will get the full refund from air pagasus.

Even after so much pursuations, nothing happened and mmt is always telling that they never received the refund.

We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Further, in reference to your concern, please be advised that the current issue is not isolated to you but to many others who booked to fly on Air Pegasus through not only MakeMyTrip but other agencies including airline’s own website.

When you make a booking, the fare amount is transferred to the airline. When a flight is cancelled or when a passenger decides to cancel, the due amount is received back from the airline which we refund back to the Customer.

At this juncture, the airline has still not refunded the due amount back to us and the entire industry is chasing Air Pegasus. I hope you will at least appreciate that we don’t run the airline. The situation of Air Pegasus is well known to all o[censored]s. What I can assure you is that MakeMyTrip is not holding your money and never will. Till now Airline did not provide any time line for the refund. The moment we get this back from the airline we will start the refund process. I also assure you once again that the issue is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from.

We are constantly asking the airline. We will begin refund the moment airline directs us to do so.

Request your patience under these force majeure conditions.

    We had booked room in hotel adarsh in lonavala through make my trip on 11th november 2017. On the site it was showing hotel had facilty of swiming pool, and hence we booked the room to enjoy in to swiming pool. But on 11th at 11am i m getting a call from hotel adarsh that their swimming pool is shut due to some emergency leakage and is under repair, and will be functional by today evening. So i refered this to make my trip coustomer care. They where given the same news by the hotelier. Make my trip told me that pool will be functional by evening and also asked me about cancelling the hotel booking or take rs 500 as compensation. Since we had come from far ie goa with fear of not finding any other room i accepted to stay in the same hotel as they had told us that swimingpool will be functioning in the evening. As we reached the hotel we found out that swiming pool is closed 7day back as they had to repair the lightings and also some more repairs they have to carry out and will not be started for more 5day. The information abt the emegency leakage given by the hoteliers and make my trip was fake. The compensation provided by make my trip is very less as it we lost our enjoyement of entire saturday. It is the responsibility of mmt to keep updated their site so the coustomer are not fooled. It is also seen that mmt does not take the responsibilty of the coustomer and do not up keep the promise of what they show in their advertisements. I have taken the photos of the swiming pool and the repair work is which is goig on. If make my trip do not compasate for their mistake i will file the case in cosumer forum. Hoping to take some action.

      I had booked a flight from mumbai to hyderabad for 19oct'17 (3am-4.20am) with jet airways (9w-348). When i reached the airport, the staff on ground informed me that the flight was overbooked and they could arrange for getting me on boarded on the next flight available with a cash compensation along with a refund on the tickets of the initial flight booked. This also was an inconvenience for me because i had a connecting flight with different airline (Goair booked via goibibo) to bhubaneswar post the same. So i had to go through the drill of cancelling that connecting flight and booking a new one as jet doesn't fly to bhubaneswar. (Experience with goibibo for cancellation was really smooth and i got my refund without any follow-up/hassles.)

      Now all being said, jet staff mentioned that since the booking is not done directly with airlines, i would have to cancel it with makemytrip. So i went ahead with the cancellation on makemytrip app on 21oct'17. To this i received a call from the team and the cs executive put me on hold and had a chat with the airline and confirmed that i'll receive the refund as per committed timeline. Since then i have been following up with the team to close this matter. It's been twice at least that the team has marked my issue as resolved without providing proper resolution and i had to open the ticket again and again. All this on gmail. They do not even have a portal where i can see the status of my complaint even though they have an app. Wonder where's the transperancy.

      Now they have come up with a statement (On gmail) stating that i'm not eligible because the airline is saying i've boarded the plane. I'm not sure how i could board an overbooked flight. Also i don't know who's lying here because the mmt team is working in silo with the airlines team. Already it was such an inconvenience to start with overbooking of flight followed by cancellation of connecting flight and booking of another flight, and to add to the effect negligence on issue handling by the mmt team. This has been a horrible experience.

      Request you to please look into this. Please let me know if you need any further information.

          I have made a booking from guwhati to bagdogra for the 13th november to which the amount has been deducted yet the booking has not been made. The amount deducted is rs.5036 via net banking sbi (State bank of india) the transaction reference number allotted to me is nf[protected]p01. I have used the sbidf e coupon for the purchase of the ticket. I wrote an email to the company yet the reply was to start a query from their website and when i log in to the website to start the query it says error. Kindly look into the matter

            I have not recieved refund of a failed booking from nov 2, 2017. Please refer to complaint numbers[protected],[protected], [protected] and[protected] which were assigned to me on four separate occasions. It has been eight days while i was promised a refund within three working days of the booking failure by your telephonic representative and then through an email by digjaya pugaliya. It is despicable how one cannot even talk to a customer service representative without having a booking id. As you would know, there is no booking id in cases of failed booking. Emails to your helpline have all bounced back. I am extremely angry at this unprofessional attitude of mmt and would definitely think twice before making another booking with you.

              Booked tickets... Got the above message & amount debited from bank... But to & fro tickets of delhi-chennai on 17th&20th not received...

              Will i get a refund.. If so when...
              Or will i get the tickets
              If not i should book again...

                We book a holiday package in last june 2017 from (Swiss paris delight)
                In the name of pawan kumar or indu garg my bookking id is in1705b4s3916221fro (June 2017) make my trip is given me future travel voucher of rs.20000/= per booking. But the travel voucher is expire in 31st oct 2017. Pls i request to you pls sugggest n redeemed my travel agent is not given me any suggestion regarding this. I also request to make my trip customer care helpine for voucher regaring but he not help in this matter. Pls request to you resolve this problam.

                  Hi! I need help with booking failed. I already paid the amount of rs 8830 for flight (Round trip) from imphal to guwahati for 5-01-18, flight no indigo 6e 3906 and from guwahati to imphal for 9-01-18, flight no indigo 6e 186 for two person on 7-11-17. I got msg on my phone that they received the amount successfully with reference no. But i didn't get any e ticket. And amount is also not refunded yet.                     Dear sir,

                    We had wrongly booked the hotel on 28th oct'17 for 3 adults, 1 child, 1 room. (Nh[protected]. Where as we needed to book for 4 adults, 2 child, 2 rooms. We had tried cancelling the booking with in 2 mins of time and where we given an option if we cancelled in 2 mins, our only 0.1 re would be deducted and all the amount would be refunded.

                    We had again booked the hotel on the same day from another id (Nh[protected].

                    We have still not received the refund, would request you to kindly escalate the refund.

                    Special mention i would also like to highlight and your customer care representative was very rude (Mr barne) from sterling holidays and they had spoken rudely with a women. I would not take this lightly and will escalate to higher authorities.

                    Hope you understand my issue and refund the amount asap. Also would like you to take strict action against this rude behavior.

                    Waiting for your positive reply, both the vouchers are attached for reference.

                      I hv taken a package from to tirupati, rameshwaram and madurai.. I paid 34000rs. At the time of booking. Round trip by flight, hotel stay, sight seeing, taxi fare and breakfast included in thos package... Btu our tour operator cheated us, we had to paid taxi fare, hotel stay and breakfast too excluded 34000..

                        My ticket PNR NUMBER is not issue by the airlines .I was book the ticket on 6 Nov fr Muscat to Kolkata in Jet Airways and return on 3 Dec by my email id [protected]@yahoo.com and my phone munber is[protected].Then i called makemytrip and make my trip said they will refund the money amount of 13169 rupees within 72 Hours. Now almost finish 72 hours but still I didn't get any money on my bank.Now they said I have to wait until what time. So tell me I will get my money how and when .

                          Hi team,

                          Let me be on the point.

                          I gave my booking for 3 separate rooms from your site, at the time of booking it was showing as 3 rooms only, however, after the booking got confirmed i came to know that my booking has been done for dormitory shared rooms + 3 rooms reservation is done.

                          I could not understand when is 3 rooms booking done then why was it showing as dormitory, the moment i reached at hotel then i found that my booking is there for dormitory.

                          It is completely non sense topic on which i had a discussion with the manager, the person made me to pay inr 1200 for one night stay, though i reached here at 12:30 am (My train was late).

                          I want my complete amount back as this is straight cheat with a client.

                            Hello my name's subodh ahire, i booked hotel in maldives with my wife through mmt. This is totally fraud company. I booked beach villa coating 38k for 3 night n water villa costing 42k for 2 night. On there site they shown hotel photos, room photos etc but nowhere mentioned said hotel is accessible only via resorts private flight whose cost not included in booking. When i call in resort i come to know my booking not cover transportation to hotel. Hotel also confirm this facility they provide for guest booking room from there site but as this booking done via mmt, mmt have to handle. I asked mmt to either arrange transportation or cancel booking. Mmt replies they won't able to do any of this. There's need strong legal action to be taken on mmt, if hotel you selling is so rare to access then all necessary information they must provide on portal before booking. And when customer asking to cancel atleast that much they should do.

                            I booked 2 different tickets from makemytrip for maldives worth 81, 000/-. While booking website didn't show anywhere that said hotel is accessible only by hotel arranged a domestic flight and no other option there to commute to the hotel. Further, when i enquired in the hotel, and they confirmed that booking done by hotel website will get transport from the hotel but as this one booked from mmt so mmt needs to handle this. I shared resort mail to mmt as proof. Now hotel demanding 32000/- as transportation cost to the hotel, and we don't have any other commute to reach the hotel. So i asked mmt to cancel a booking and refund money - to which mmt refused. My question if mmt providing any hotel which doesn't have connectivity apart from hotel arranged domestic flight then why mmt is not put such information on their portal. Further on which ground mmt declining to provide support for this. I need to lodge a legal complaint against mmt for this blunder, please guide me.

                              Please be informed that i am facing issue while contacting mmt. I booked two tickets from. Delhi to jaipur. My bus timing was 5.00 a. M i was at nodal point around 4.40 a. M but there was no bus then we went to the shop address provided by mmt. There was only one person who was completely drunk and saying over again that bus already gone.. And sometimes he said... Bus will come. But no bus came. I registered my complaint on mmt as i booked my... Tickets through them. Earlier they had words with me... And was saying that they filled my. Vomplaint. But now am trying to contact mmt regarding my complaint but they are rejecting my number saying that it is not a valid number though it is. Now am not able to contact both the company and dealer.

                              Kindly help in getting my money back.

                                Makemytrip had sent a mail saying that refund o[censored]df has been initiated and that they are closing the case. I told them how they can close the case without completion of the process. I have still not received the refund. I request you to take strict action against this matter for harrassing the customers. Their support process is automated so i am unable to speak to anyone. I am also sending a copy of the communications with them.

                                  Hi, i booked a flight and 2 hotels in usa from makemytrip.com.
                                  1st booking for san fransisco on 9th nov - 11 nov 2017, with booking id nh[protected], which i paid rs.18403.07 in full by credit card. 2nd hotel was in las vegas from 11 nov to 13 nov. I wanted to cancel the las vegas hotel and not the one in san fransisco.
                                  The rep cancelled the incorrect one and when i called to get it re insested, i was told it is non refundable and will contact hotel.
                                  I got a call back stating that hotel declined to keep confirmation for something i already paid. It sounded fishy so i called hotel direct on embassy hotel san francisco,

Finally got to speak with girl named supriya, who heard the story and asked me that she ll fix it and email back, now she emailed back that hotel declined the reservation. I asked to either send the payment confirmation to hotel or refund the money and they declined both. Just trying to steal money. Supposed to forward payment to hotel which they are not doing, wrong practice. Hotel people are ready to be a witness in everything mentioned here. I can forward all emails.

                                      I had flight bookings roundtrip bangalore to abu dhabi. While i was booking there was a discount of 2543 wch was promised to be given. But then the cash back only reached mmt wallet. After that there is neither ample amount of time given to use the money nor an option to move it to the bank account. Mmt is cheating on the customers by displaying misleading discounts or deals which happen to be of no use to customers.

                                        I have 2879 rs in my wallet. For flight booking when i wanted to use the wallet money, i am only able to use rs 150. Due to some emergency situation i had to cancel my flight and the ticket fare got added in my wallet. Why i am not able to use my own money?? The worst part is tomorrow is the last day to utilise the money. Mmt is doing unethical business with customers. It is big time fraud. I am very frequent user of mmt for national/international flights, hotels booking but got the lesson of my life. Book flights directly on airlines official website and definitely not from mmt. Big shame on you people for doing this fraud and eating customers money. Legal action should be taken against such fraud.
