Hi team,
I have booked a ticket from redbus for pune to baroda ac sleeper for my wife to travel.
Travel operator - gujarat travels
At the end moment, the operator came with non ac sleeper [bus was in very bad condition] and rudely told my wife that, ac bus got cancelled, that's the only bus at this time now, if you want to board or cancel and get refund. As she has to travel in urgency, so she boarded the bus.
Bus quality was so bad, that since the time she boarded the bus, she got headache due to loud noise of bus parts/windows.
And when she asked bus staff to stop the bus somewhere near to hotel for bathroom, bus staff rudely denied. She was alone travelling and got panicked and fell into serious frustration. After asking continuously to bus staff to stop for bathroom, they just gave fake assurance without even understanding the seriousness of problem.

I am deeply regretting to avail the bus services from redbus specially from gujrat travels, when my wife had to face a lot due to ruthless and unsupportive behaviour of staff.

    Hi,
    I had booked a ticket for two through redbus app for bus journey on jan 1, 2018 from bangalore to hyderabad. On dec 27, 2017 i recieved an sms (Screenshot attached) stating that my bus ticket with given pnr has been cancelled. And no refunds have been done for the cancelled ticket yet.

    I have tried lodging complaint through the app and also tried talking to the customer care. And the only result so far is i get system generated emails for my request ticket creation and closure without any resolution being provided.

    Also while talking to the customer care, he told that they had confirmed with the bus operator that the bus had not been cancelled.in that case how is possible that i get the sms with my pnr number that the bus has been cancelled. When i told him about the sms i was asked to send a mail to [protected]@redbus.in with the screenshot attached. As mentioned above there had been no satisfactory response to the mail (Only the system generated mail was recieved).

    If bus had not been cancelled how is it that i receive that sms with the correct pnr number. Either the bus had been cancelled or there is a serious system flaw.

    I would like to get my money back with proper explanation or there is no way i am trusting redbus for my future reservations.

      Hi this is raheel i have booked ticket on 22 dec at durga travels through red bus app. I have cal to driver at 4pm on that day he told me there is a maintenance problem bus was cancelled.       I renjith booked my bus ticket by redbus on 24 dec 2017 (Ticket number (Tin): tkd93720870 from pune to bangalore for dated 24 dec 2017, unfortunately bus got cancelled and same has been confirmed by the service provider over call/message on same date.

      My problem is that still i have not received the refund amount in my bank account yet and over call redbus representative informed me that i will get refund/confirmation within 24 hrs an its been 11 days and havent recieved my amount/confirmation.

      My request is to please refund my money.

      I booked a bus through red bus for 4th of January but due to some compulsion i had to travel on 3rd itself, so I went to red bus cancellation site for cancellation of my tickets I got a message stating that this ticket can't be cancelled.

        Bus tickets for three was booked on 25th nov 2017 for journey from kolhapur to mumbai with ticket number tkcn34281544 and pnr : 67788843 for neeta travels bus departing at 09:45 pm. Date of journey was 04.01.2018. I had received confirmation of the ticket on my email id (Ganesh. [protected]@gmail.com). Complete payment was also done during booking.
        However, when boarding, the reservation was denied as the pnr was not available at the neeta database. Also the seats reserved were allocated to others.

          I booked a nonac sleeper ticket worth rs.1018 for 2 people in red bus from trichy to chennai for travel dated 12th nov 2017, however at the last minute the bus operator (Srs travels) called me and stated that the nonac sleep bus is cancelled due to some mechanical problem and asked me to ask alternate bus to red bus and if red bus can't provide a bus then ask red bus to initiate cancellation so that you will get the full refund. I informed the same to red bus and raised a complaint on dec 12th for same and red bus promised to refund the amount within 7 working days however its almost a month time now and still i have not received any refund. Whenever i call the customer care they keep my call on hold for a while and then disconnects. Such a poor customer service from such a reputed company and i have called about 5 times but everytime same thing happened which really frustrates and why do the hell i have to call u people and waste my time for asking my own money.. Help me how to proceed further? Can i raise a case again? Or what do i need to do to get my money back?

            I booked a ac sleeper ticket worth 1650 for 2 people in red bus from bangalore to chennai for travel dated 30th nov 2017, however at the last minute the bus operator (Asian express) called me and stated that the ac sleep bus is cancelled due to less seat occupancy and asked me to board volvo semi sleeper bus which was 1100 for 2 people which i refused as i'm not comfortable with semi sleeper. The bus operator told he can then refund the entire amount and asked my account details. I informed the same to red bus and raised a complaint on nov 30th for same and booked alternate bus for my travel. Red bus promised to refund the amount within 7 working days however its almost a months time now and still i have not received any refund. Whenever i call the customer care they keep my call on hold for a while and then disconnects. Such a poor customer service from such a reputed company. I request you to help me how to proceed further? Can i raise a case? Or what do i need to do to get my money back?

            Thanks for your prompt reply,

            How fare is to arrange an alternate semi sleeper bus instead of a sleeper? Semi sleeper costs 1000 rs for 2 and sleeper 1600 for 2, who do i need to pay 1600 and take a service worth of 1000 rs?

            Also, I wanted to understand how can a bus service provided cancel the bus just because the tickets are not full? I would request you to take back necessary action or impose fine on Asian express.

            Above everything, for a refund of payment it took 30 days by redbus? Which i dont feel a fair deal, any ways i really appreciate your prompt response and action on this manner. Thank you!!!

              I have cancelled mentioned booking id htlp9s5y5c on 15th dec, 4.13 pm but i could not able to find my refund till now. I was unable to cancel my booking through mobile app so i called red bus customer support and cancelled it over the call. The employee over the call clearly confirmed me twice and mentioned that i am eligible for the refund and asked me where could i require the refund amount and i mentioned him in the bank account itself.
              They are not agreeing that i have made a call to cancel the bookings.

              Redbus is not refunding the amount and mentioning that they have not received any call from the number what I have mentioned and I was having the proof in my call log that I have called from that number only. They are denying this and not accepting. Once I logged the complaint here in consumer forum, the next day, their technical team start working on it and they are able to find my call log too and I have received the amount in my bank account within 2 hours after their call.

              Form Last 2 days I was coordinating with the Red bus team for refund but have not received any favorable response from the team. They are directly declining and telling that Refund is not possible.
              I am really thankful to Consumer Forum. After I have posted here, I got the refund within 24 hours. Their technical team was able to find my call details:-)

                On first try amount was debited from my account but ticket was not issued.

                    I booked 2 tkts on 22 dec, waited fr mre than 1.30 hrs at the boarding point bus never reachd there. I called there customer care they suggested me to find another transport at 1.30am in that chilly night. I didnt take there services. Because of these unprofissional ppl i had to pay 5500 more and took ola to reach my destination. I havent got refund for the amount i paid to them for nothing. I call them nd everytime they come up with this issue has been escalated to the concern team wait for 24 hrs. I dont understnd if there is any concern team actually looking into the case or they are sleeping. It has been a physical and mental harrasment for more than 7 days now. I am thinking to take this matter to consumer forum now and claim for what all i had to go through. They never reply to emails either. I dont know what kind of pathetic service they are providing and after seeing so many complaints i am wondering how they survived till this long. The ppl sitting at the call centres are more like humanbots. They only know few words. Thid case has been escalated to concern team wait for 24 hrs. Each time i call i get the same reply. I had called more 5. Times since that night. Everytime i call they ask mei to call back after 24 hrs. Don’t i have better things to do in my life than calling these ppl everyday just to get my money back which i never used. They make me realise my mistake that i made by using there services. Below is the screenshot of the ola i had taken to reach to my destination since there bus had never turned up. Kindly check the time also at what time i hade taken that cab. I reached my boarding point by 11.30pm on 22 dec just to be on the safer side and managed to get a cab at 2.45am on 23dec. It was a sheer nightmare of more than 3 hrs. Who will pay me for all this?? I hope somebody will answer my questions atleast here because they never reply to your emails. Once they have got your money, they put you in their ignore list i believe. I am going to post it on there facebook and twitter also so that ppl can know about this kind of service by them and can take their decision wisely.

                      I booked a ticket by RedBus in Laxmi Travels From Bangalore to Tirupur.
                      Bus conductor told me end of departure time this bus will go to erode.
                      I recommended to everyone plz don't book the ticket through RedBus.

                        Our seat number was changed by the conductor without our consent... No lights in the cabin... Also people were sleeping in the passage... No space to walk... And also we were not picked from the pickup address... We had to travel to some other location using the mini transport van provided by the mr travels india office in surat... Also the bus is late by around 2. 5 hours... Also the bus driver stopped the bus for dinner at around 12. 30 am ie midnight... Also in rs 2210 *2 = 4420, we could easily get a luxirious bus to travel... Instead the bus was comparble to some low standard buses... Also the bus contained some big parcels lying on the passage all around creating difficulty to walk

                          Dropping point : thirunallar
                          Date of journey : 24/12/2017
                          Boarding time: 10:35pm

                          Bus never reached the boarding point till 12.15am (25/12/2017) and i went back to my home.

                          Raised the refund complaint with redbus (Reference#2717501) on 25/12/2017 1.15 am but still refund has not been given. Called redbus customercare 5-6 times over the past 4days but they always say that it has been escalated to universal travels and would be resolved by end of the day.

                          Please look into it on priority.

                            I had booked to & from ticket in redbus, and i cancelled the same on 10th dec 2017, total charges rs.3213/- from that rs.1200/- i got credited, balance rs.1404/- not yet received no response for email and no answer for my calls.
                            I had sent email from 14th dec 2017 and i received the reply as resolved, when i check the status in online it shows payment processed by bank, but still now i haven't received and i asked redbus customer care help to get resolve the issue. But nobody care for my email.

                              Sir,
                              I had purchased a ticket from redbus.in for my father in law, but due to certain personal problems the travel plan had to be cancelled. I tried to cancel the ticket online but it could not get cancelled. After that i called the customer care and told about my problem. He said that it is due to some technical error. I was assured by the customer care executive that the ticket will be cancelled and refund would be given to me within 24 hours. I was given a complain id: 2672833. I had also written an email to [protected]@redbus.in stating my problem and had asked to refund my amount, for which i was given the complain id: 2672756.

                              I had requested for ticket cancellation and refund 4 days before the travel date but till date i have not received the refund.
                              I would be very thankful to you if you could kindly look into the matter and help me get the refund.

                              I have canceled your ticket TKD[protected] for travel between Siliguri and Kolkata, for 12/23/2017. The cancellation fee is Rs.256.32/- as per the bus operator’s policy. The balance of Rs.875.28/- has been refunded to the original payment source. Your transaction reference number is[protected]and you will receive the refund within 7 working days.

                                My name is ankur bhatt i am a resident of himachal pradesh and i work at delhi in india post payments bank.
                                I usually do my travels through volvo from delhi to dharamsala.
                                The incident about which i am complaining about is of 26 dec 2017.

                                I booked my ticket for delhi to dharamshala and back on dec 19 through red bus app as details mentioned below.

                                But i really felt that everybody is here to make money by making fool of customers let me take you through my nightmare.

                                First complaint.

                                Delhi to dharamsala travel date 22/12/17 by confirmation, redbus ticket - tkde20509578

                                Bus operator: laxmi holidays.

                                I booked my ticket for delhi to dharamsala but they dropped me at kangra at 7 am which is 17 kms away from my home and asked me to go by some other bus and. Us rather than going on it's mentioned route went to birr, baijnath

                                Second complaint
                                Dharamshala to delhi travel date 26/12/17

                                Confirmation no. Redbus ticket - tkde56958260

                                Bus operator i booked was laxmi holidays.

                                1) they changed my bus and provided me a low grade bus with pathetic seats, no water, no leg room, no blankets and it was chilling cold inside bus i have to take off my jacket to cover my legs and shivered in cold for entire night.

                                2) i booked laxmi holidays bus they message me the bus will be from waheguru operator and finally the bus was of some bharat travel the timing was 7 30 and bus departed at 8 15.

                                3) they send me an sms of bus no 6864 and the actual number was 6844.

                                4) i spent 1500 plus bucks for this pathetic experience

                                The quality of bus bad it was sounding like a truck.

                                5) the driver was talking on phone while driving.

                                6) there was no music or video player inside the bus.

                                7) the bus attender charged me 10 bucks for my luggage handling.

                                Being form dharamshala i know
                                Quality of laxmi buses... I really experienced a total emotional and mental harrasement

                                I want you take strict action against laxmi travelers.

                                They are playing with the customers lives, emotions and prestige.

                                  I booked a seat in indian travels bus for 27th december from hyderabad to mumbai (5:30pm). I didnt recieve any bus details prior to my journey. I logged in to app and checked for bus details at 5pm however app showed the bus is in mumbai location. Not received the bus details so how can i get into bus. Tried reaching the redbus customer care and the reply i received was good bye from the toll free number. Put my problem in redbuschatbot also, it also gave the location as mumbai.

                                  Finally complained the same redbus through email. These guys replied stating that operator confirmed the timely departure of the bus without doing proper investigation.

                                  Because of their intelligent chatboat, customercare, email etc.. I am deeply hurt with this behavior. I cancelled my trip on 27th and booked from other site for 28th.

                                  Message to redbus : if you dont know the value of customers and their money, please leave the business so that people like me will not suffer in future.

                                    I have tried to cancel my ticket, called their customer care several times and their behaviour was like i was disturbing them. They told me due to technical glitches it will take time to cancel my ticket and i will get 70% refund. Now the date of trip has passed and i am yet to get a confirmation.
                                    Red bus is a fraud and this company will be totally be shut.

                                      Hi,
                                      I've booked ac sleeper on dec 19, 2017 but at midnight the driver asked us to board another seater bus. When i asked they said speak to the srs office or red bus regarding this. At last they were telling bus is failure and same some set of peoples were transferred from sleeper to seater bus near salem. To fill the seats they played a drama and spoiled our full night sleep.

                                      And nowadays they started cheating innocent peoples like this. If we ask any question they are behaving very rude. Kindly take a necessary action on this.
