We had purchased one videocon t. V satellite lcd model no.2602 on 17.05.2010 from ahuja global furniture & electronics, akola. Accordingly a certificate was given for redemption of rs.10, 000 after 6 years and 11 months. The certificate was submitted by speed post on 27.05.17 to paithan office, dist: aurangabad vide acknw. No. A rm[protected]in. A mail was also received on 07.06.2017 acknowledging the receipt of certificate, but till date the cheque is not received.

    I want to register a complaint regarding not passing gst benefits to the customers. Before gst there was entertainment tax about 40% in delhi but now it is only 18% but the company has not passed the benefits of low tax to the customers they are just filling their pocket.
    Kindly help to register a complaint against the company in anti-profiteering authority.

        I recharged my videocon d2h on 27 dec 2016 for a year which must be validated upto 26 jan 2018.
        But account balance is showing 279 & validity degraded to 16 dec 2017. Why

        My customer id is 7875046.

        I had a talk with your customer care approx 1 hr. They don't have the proper answer. They told me i have activated some channels due to which validity get down but no channels have been activated from our side nor customer care able to provide any proof, in between they also admitted no channels have been activated from the customer side.
        I don't understand this.
        I requested for complaint number they haven't provided.

          I purchased videocon led tv from vijay sales, which said 5 years of warranty just over year ago.
          Now there is issue in its software for which i raised issue to customer care,
          Support engineer came to my place and is asking to pay rs 1400/- as service charge as, as per him its 1 + 4 years and not 5 years warranty.

          I had purchased videocon tv for reason it said 5 years warranty, nobody told that it is 1 + 4 years not even mentioned anywhere.
          After 1 year i am getting to know this having no clue of 1+4 years warranty.

            For sports loving guys i recommend never ever take videocon d2h.. Whats the meaning of spending rs 385 per month and subscribing to thier exclusive new south sports without watching ten sporta (Ten1, 2, 3) and star sports select (1, and 2).. All other dish has sd channels of these channels with very less package, waited a lot done a mistake.. Migrating to dish tv.. Should have don this a long back ago

              I have opted for new sports package. For last 5 to 6 years all sports channels available on non hd format were available. But now sony ten 1, 2, 3 have been removed from my package even when i have sports pack. Now i need to pay additional charges to view these channels. But these are not add ons and i was viewing them for last 6 years. Isn't it a cheat from comapny to do so when sports pack should have all the channels or atleast this was promised to me when i bought the d2h.

                Summary of my issue with d2h connection

                I have taken a videocon d2h connection with hd box by paying rs.2000. Then, i upgraded hd box to dvr box by paying rs.5500. Suddenly dvr box stopped working by end of last month. I raised a complaint with customer care and customer service executive told that these dvr boxes are outdated and it has to be replaced. But they are ready to replace my dvr box with hd box after paying rs.200 as replacement charge.in total, i have spent rs.7500 for set top box. To get my old hd box back, what happened to rs.5500 i have spent for dvr box.

                1. I have sent so many mails to customer care and nodal officer. No reply from nodal officer. I got response from [protected]@d2h.com, which is also truncated response and not a proper response to all my query. Also i tried contacting nodal office number[protected] today. Call connection is not happening in the nodal office number. No one picks up the call to answer my queries.

                2. As i have already spent rs.5500 for dvr box, videocon should either repair my dvr box or give a set top box which is closer to the dvr box. Videocon should not give hd box which was initially purchased and upgraded to dvr. As a customer, i have the right to get my money back. Can you refund rs.5500 money paid for dvr box, as you are only ready to provide lower version of set top box?

                3. Why should i take hd box by paying rs.7500 which is available in market only by paying rs.2000?

                4. Today i spoke with customer care executive and asked for a higher authority mail apart from nodal officer, as i did not get even a single reply from nodal officer till now. Why there is not a single response from nodal officer?

                5. As there is not a single problem in my side, if there is no proper resolution for the problems that i faced with videocon d2h soon, i want all the money that i paid for the set top box which is rs.7500 and close my d2h connection.

                6. For the amount that i will get as refund for the closure of the account. Below is the response from the videocon customer care reply:
                We would like to inform you that we will refund remaining balance of rs.956.35/-, along with hardware amount of rs.206/-, so total refund amount which comes to rs.956.35 – (Rs.956.35+ rs.206.00) =rs.1162.35/-. How come the refund amount is rs.206 for the hardware where i have paid rs.7500?

                  I have receive complain no jod[protected]. Then after 6 dec i have receive again technical helper no and appt date 10/12/2017 2:00 pm.. I am waiting this person. I am slef call in 9/12/2017 he said 10/12/2017 defiantly come and reapir it.. But he didnot recive my call in 10/12/2017 i call again customer care and area manager but not sufficient answer.

                    Videocon dth still doesn't offer its customers star select 1 and star select 2 sd channels, while other dth service providers are giving the same options to the customers... Also their highest platinum hd pack doesn't offer espn ten sports channels and the same can be taken as a-la-carte only... I shifted from tata sky to videocon hd last year... Now it seems like a wrong decision..

                      I am a consumer of videocon d2h service having consumer number as described above. I am facing a problem which can easily be described as unethical business practice of videocon d2h

                      I recharged my subscription platinum hd in jan 2017 for a year. All of a sudden today i have been suspended viewing of sony ten sports channels. On inquiry, i was explained that it was earlier on promotion and now has been taken off however they never communicated to me that any channel was on promotion and could been taken off with any prior notice. Now i have to pay additional charges for viewing that particular channel. This did not make sense to me as i was viewing this channel for an year now. Most intriguing fact is that at the time of recharging, i had verified whether viewing of any of the channel, now being allowed to me, be suspended later on or not and they have confirmed there shall be no such and there would be a price guarantee.

                      Now i understand this is a malpractice being continued. Is there any forum or govt dept where we can get justice? If anybody shares any email id or phone number where can we complain, it would be a great help

                        I am a consumer of videocon d2h service having consumer number as described above. For last two years i am facing a problem which can easily be described as unethical business practice of videocon d2h

                        1.in 2016, within two months of recharging my account, all of a sudden you had suspended viewing of d2h movies. On inquiry, i was explained that it has become paid channel and therefore, i have to pay additional charges for viewing that particular channel. This did not make sense to me as i was viewing this channel for about one year prior. However, i continued to view that particular channel by paying additional money.
                        2.in 2017, within a fortnight of recharging my account with upgrade, all of a sudden you have suspended viewing of sony ten sports channels. On inquiry, explanation given was just replica of the explanation given in (1) above. This again did not make sense as i was viewing these channels for last two years. Most intriguing fact is that at the time of recharging, i had verified whether viewing of any of the channel, now being allowed to me, be suspended later on or not and they have confirmed there shall be no such.

                          It has been months since star sports select sd is launched and all other d2h services have made the channel available except videocon. For months we are getting reply that videocon has added hd seclect and is trying to add the select sd channel. How long are we supposed to wait???

                          Urging representative of videocon to act immediately as almost half the season of premier league is over and we football fans have to struggle to watch the match.

                          It has been a month and still we are waiting for the channel. It has already been 6+ months since the channel was launched.

                          Switching to other operator seems to be the only option.
                          Team videocon d2h,
                          Please give us the channel start sports select sd 1 and 2. Even our towns channel subscribers are enjoying it. But a big network like videocon is not able to give us that channel. It's better to change the dish to Tata sky or Airtel tv as they are giving it in their lower packs itself.

                            I have repaired display 2 times but the problem is arising frequently even after repaired in service centre, the sevice centre officials says the problem will arrive 1000 times we can't do any thing.
                            Such a bad response from the company's service centre
                            And they say this problem will not be solved u should come frquent and repaired the tv till in warrenty after that the tv is of no use the electronic tv is of such kind these days they say.

                              I generally do yearly recharges.Today when I was about to recharge I found that they have activated 2 addons(d2h cooking and topper tv) without my permissions.I called their customer care and found that their backend team have activated these addons from july (Have call recording as proof).They agreed that it was not from my end but are not refunding the money they have used for those two addons.Please help against such kind of harrassment.The customer care executive kept my call for hold most of the time and finally hung up.I am feeling helpless.Please look into this matter

                                  My name is syed nawazish ali and my customer id[protected] having rtn [protected]. But instead of registering my original name my pet name bunty khan has been registered as customer name.
                                  Please change the same as soon as possible.
                                  Earlier i had made a lot of efforts to resolve this issue but no positive reply reply has been made by customer care.
                                  I have to split my multiple room connection but cannot be done because if the customer name registered and the photo is submitted mismatch.
                                  Hope you will resolve the matter as this issue is costing me my lot of time and money.

                                    As i have been all ready register online complaint regarding removing the chanel of videocon d2h as i am using the d2h connection of video con & my package is sports gold in that all sports chanels are included but now they have removed sony ten1 ten 2 ten 3 & they told it is working in permontaional till date but in other comany they will provide me more than that in same monthly charges so please activate these chanels in same package & bindass play also please activate & reply me on my no [protected]

                                    I am using a Videocon D2h conection id is 80157754 & My current monthly charges is 380 per month & package is Sports Gold & yesterday they have closed 3 chanels Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 2 & Sony Ten 3 & as well as Bindass Play also & i have talk to customer care yesterday They Told this is a permontional they have provided they have closed that without any information so please provide me that chanel in the same Pacckage in other Dth they have provided more than that so please check & provide me in same package & contact me on my no [protected]

                                      I have been using videocon since 4 years, but recently they have started blocking channels or i would say they haven't launched them yet, but they are available on other platforms (Tata, airtel etc). Since being a sports fan i prefer having all the sports channels including sds as well as his. However, videocon has no ten 2 he, ten3hd, star sports select sd 1&2. I have a subscription of platinum hd, which is the top most subscription plan they have currently. Since this month they have excluded ten1, 2, 3 sd and ten 1 he from my plan. I have no idea why would someone want to spend another 100rs per month for these 4 channels? Please look into this matter, or i would prefer switching to another.

                                        Am very very disappointed with videocon d2h. Star sports select 1, star sports select2 have been launched since quite some time now and still you have not activated those channels. I pay for the highest package, but what's the use if you guys haven't launched channels like espn hd and star sports select hd, while other dth have. I faced a similar issue while star sports select hd1 and hd2 were launched. It appears that customers interests is the least of your concerns.
                                        I kept reaching you people for last 3 weeks, through customer care numbers and through emails and i get the same answer saying the feedback is taken and will update once the channels are available in this platform. Today (Dec 1st) i spoke to one of the supervisors, who has confirmed that they wont be able to provide this channel anytime immediately. So all premier league lovers, its time to switch to other d2h service providers like tata sky who are offering star sports selec1, star sports select2. Though i have been a loyal videocon customer since years, it's time to switch.
