I hired the zoomcar in cochin from 11 am on january 31 to 12 pm on february 1 (Booking number: jps6fp7s2). I received a message from zoomcar at 10 am on february 1 that i could extend the return time by paying an amount. I actually felt that i would need the car for a little longer than the previously scheduled return time. So, i extended the time of return by 2 hours for which they charged rs. 215 that i paid. I returned the car by 1:50 pm. Everything was checked and no damage was noted.
I was later stunned after seeing the additional charges. They charged me a late fee of rs. 219 and a late charge of rs. 600 (A total of rs. 819) that was deducted from the initial deposit. This amount was in addition to rs. 215 that i paid for extending the time of return by 2 hours. So, they charged me a total of rs. 1034 for extending the time by 2 hours! They should not charge the customer additional amount if one has already paid for the extension in advance like i did.
I tried to contact zoomcar by phone but could never reach them. It asks to press 6 for other issues and pressing 6 invariably leads to disconnection of the line. I also could not find an email id to contact them. This whole process has led to a huge waste of my time in addition to the frustration and the feeling of being cheated.
I hope a proper action will be taken regarding my complaint.

We are sorry to know about the discrepancy in the billing.

We did check and see that the charge levied on the booking is invalid. Hence, we have reversed the charge.

The amount has been initiated through IMPS. Please note, within 24 hours a link shall be shared to your registered email ID. Kindly log into your Zoomcar account on the website and then click on the link. On the landing page, please add your bank credentials and submit. The refund amount shall be instantly transferred to your bank account or you can log in through the app. Navigate to your completed bookings page. Under the respective booking, you shall find the option "Get refund". Click on the same and add your bank credentials. Once done, within 24 business hours, the amount shall reflect in your bank account.

    I took zoomcar on 26th january, 2019. I gave back the car after the drive. There was no accident and any other problems. I submitted the extra billings as well. It has been almost a month since i finished the trip. I am yet to get the refund amount and the bill which i submitted. There is no response from the zoomcar customer care support as well. They have a worst customer care response ever. It is the worst experience and it is my first experience as well.

      I had paid zoom car rs.40758 through razorpay gateway and i did not sign any agreement or received any leased car due to death in family i was not able to continue zoom car and requested them to refund the full amount of 40758 after exchaning 63 mails with the zoom cars i got refund only 25758 and zoomcar are not paying me 15000 balance i request you please help me out get my money back 15000

        I had booked a zoom car on 8th of feb in Pune. My drop time was 11am but I had extended the drop time to 2pm.
        Zoom car app showed me that my drop time has been extended but when i went to drop my car at 1.40pm, the zoom car person said me that I have an outstanding amount for late return. When i enquired about that via mail and telephone the zoom car representative told me that the app will show the extended time period for 15min if payment is not done. But i have taken the screenshot of the app at 1.11pm which still showed me the extended period of 2pm.
        I am attaching the screenshot and it's details for your reference. Please do the needful and refund my money back.

        Hi Zoomcar, I see that similar issue in Zoomcar app for same date has been raised on this forum. Please check the below link. I found that the charges have been reversed for the customer. No idea why I am being charged for the same problem in Zoomcar app.

          Regarding booking id - jps6f550k
          Have been shown an outstanding demand of inr 5000 for cleaning and some unknown damages that i am not aware of. This was the 3rd time i had booked a zoomcar and i never had such a pathetic experience with zoomcar. There were issues in this booking from very beginning:
          1. Zoomcar send car details 4 hours before, so when i received the info i was in flight and could access it only when i landed in chennai from where my booking was to start
          2. When i checked the location where car was to be picked up, it was 14 kms from airport. I called zoomcar and complained. I was promised a callback from supervisor which i never received
          3. We filled up the checklist and took the car.in checklist it was mentioned the there are some dents already.
          4. Also, in my bookings so far we have never received a cleaned car. There was mud and sand all over the floor of the car. Now, zoomcar is charging inr 1000 for cleaning.. Why???
          5. While returning the car, we have had hell lot of issues in finding the location as road was blocked. We called zoomcar executive several times as we had a flight to catch. Finally got someone who told us to park the car at about 700 mts from the actual location and he will end the trip and lock the car as we were getting late for our flight. We took the luggage and got the car locked. Later we received email that we owe inr 3060 for excess km which we paid within 1 hour
          6. Received email later in morning stating we owe another inr 5000 and there was no explanation of the reason or details. So called zoomcar and executive advised it for cleaning and inr 4000 is for damage??? There was absolutely no dent or even a scratch on the car after we picked it.. I absolutely have no idea what damage they are talking about. There was no detail or photo shared by zoomcar as to what the damage is? This is so unprofessional and seems like a fraud as the entire system was so automated and there was no person from zoomcar's side to inspect the car or to whom we can hand over the car. Zoomcar is taking advantage of this and has imposed these fraudulent charges on us which i will not pay definitely

          The unnecessary charges for INR 5000 have been reversed by zoomcar and my fuel bill of INR 2000 has been re-imbursed too. This was a pretty quick resolution provided and I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism shown by zoomcar

          Kindly arrange for the refund of my fuel bill that I uploaded as well. Its for INR 2000 and my booking was 'with Fuel'. I have still not been reimbursed.

            To the Concerned,

            1. Refer to booking id JPS6FH0AC for the booking dated 20th Jan 2019-29th Jan 2019. I had booked the Mahindra Scorpio S4 for my journey and the pickup point was Sevoke Road, Siliguri which was later changed to Bagdogra Airport for the reasons known to Zoom car. Unfortunately, the car was to be collected from a site near to the Bagdogra airport and not at the Airport itself as it was informed to me over phone by Zoom car Customer service representative in the morning of 20th Jan 2019. Upon reaching the Bagdogra airport, i did not see any zoom car representative and no vehicle was in sight. I inquired from the zoom car support and i was told that it is near to the airport and not at the Airport itself and also i was told that as per the policy the vehicle can be parked within 5 kms Radius of the said pick up location given by Zoom car. However, no such policy/rule is applied while returning the vehicle.
            2. At the time of collecting the Vehicle, i was shocked to see the condition of the vehicle. The model displayed in the Zoom car app at the time of booking was absolutely different with that delivered to me. As per the Vehicle registration certificate the vehicle is year 2017 manufactured but the interiors and the features of the vehicle delivered to me was completely different from Scorpio S4 2017 model. The Scorpio S4 delivered to me was surely not 2017 make but a modified taxi or cab. Please refer to the attached pics to substantiate the details.
            3. During the course of journey, the engine of the vehicle was making more noise than normal and was finding it difficult to trudge across the hills where an Alto and similar taxi vehicles were making their way easily. This cleared me of any doubts about the model and make of the Vehicle.
            4. The front left end mudguard was damaged owing to my fault and I had enquired for the replacement of the same from the authorised Mahindra dealer/ workshop in Siliguri. The cost of the new replacement was quoted as 3000INR but I did not take the risk of changing it at my own discretion. Please refer to the attached pics to verify the quantum of damage.
            5. Upon returning the vehicle I was told that I will be charged for the damaged Mudguard but no amount was quoted to me. No other fault was discovered by the zoom car representative at the time of returning the vehicle. After few hours, I was charged 8000INR and no bill was produced for the same. The refundable deposit of 5000INR was siphoned off and extra 3000INR was reflected as an amount due.
            6. I received many calls from the Zoom car representative and was pressurised to make the payment. I was also threatened to make the payment of outstanding amount failing which I will be served with legal notice and will be charged 18 percent GST over the outstanding amount. I requested for the breakup of the amount with the bills but my request was turned down saying it is against the policy of the Zoom car.
            7. As per the consumer protection act 1986, it is the right of the customer to seek the original copy of the bill for the goods purchased or services used. The Zoom car policy is against the act and is condemnable.
            8. Zoom car not only cheats its customers but also extort money by overcharging/wrong charging the customer. It lacks transparency and the customer support division of Zoom car is not there to help but to harass the customer and extort money by pressurizing the customer.
            9. I hereby, appeal to all those who have suffered or been a victim of Zoom car service to come together and raise our grievance in Consumer court. It is usually very difficult for a single aggrieved customer to fight in the court and thus the company like zoom car continue to cheat and harass customer. But once the entire aggrieved customer come and join hands together it will lead us to a good fight for the right.
            10. All victim of Zoom car services can connect to me through E-mail ([protected]@gmail.com). One step in this direction will lead all the aggrieved customer to justice and will prevent other many customers from being cheated/ harassed.

            The vehicles in our fleet are basic models, hence, they do not have any features that of the high-end model. Also, the vehicles are been handled by multiple users, hence, you may find the vehicle to be old. However, our team makes every effort to maintain the quality of the vehicle and to ensure that the customer faces no issues with regard to the vehicle. Based on the concern raised, we have escalated this issue to our service team.
            The vehicle shall be retired for inspection and we will ensure the vehicle is well checked and served before it is served for the next booking.

            In regard to the damage fee, we see that the damage charge levied on the booking is valid. Unfortunately, we will not be able to reverse the charge.

              I made a booking in zoomcar with booking id # jps6fkf03
              Zoomcar didnt deliver the car at the location and promised me to refund the full amount.
              Its been nearly 2 months, i am yet to get the refund.
              In the site they have marked as refund completed.
              There is no way i could connect with zoom car to inquire on the same.

                I have booked my car on 29january and the car number being ts07uf4923, which was picked at 1 pm from plot no 502b, road number 31, jubilee hills, hyd-500033 from this location on the same day. They were supposed to refund me rs.2935 and diddnt even dont respond to calls and have to call a lot of times, worst experience ever and never want to book using zoomcar again... My booking id is jps6fy50d... The car they have alloted for me also had a lot of problems and brokedown in the middle of the journey... I think the government should take action on this issue and shut down their future processes if they are not transperant and legally driven and resolve all the illegal money trafficking done by this website and take intended action needed to stop this fradulent scams done on common people like us... If we are supposed to pay late fee charges and other extra unnecessary charges then what is the company liable for and responsible for, it should also reflect the same what it potrays...

                  This complaint is regarding the charges that have been applied to my zoomcar booking no.
                  The baleno car that i booked from zoomcar got a flat tire at ramtek location in nagpur.
                  Then i called the zoomcar service centre at..[protected] to assist me on this flat tire issue. They told me to replace the flat tire with the spare tyre but the tool kit was missing in the car.
                  The call centre agent provided no help and told us get help from nearby place, but being at a remote distance there was no way of getting help from any shop around.

                  Then we called the nagpur zoomcar office at [protected] to get some help, so they told that they will send a person to help us with the issue from nearby place and they will update us about the mechanic they are sending. After not receiving any update on the complain, we called the nagpur zoomcar office, then only they informed that there is no person coming for the help and we will have to arrange the help ourself.
                  But then we explained that we were nowhere around the city or any shop to get the tire issue repaired, then the nagpur service agent told us to drive the car with flat tire to nearby shop which was around 7-8 kms approximately and get it repaired and take bill for the damages that would be refunded by zoomcar, since they were unable to provide any solution to us.

                  As driving a car with flat tire would have damged the car rims and also the car tire, so we guys though that it is not a good option to go with and get a mechanic itself.
                  So one o[censored]s went to neaby puncher shop which was more than 8kms and brought a mechnic to replace the flat tyre with the spare tyre.
                  There the mechanic didnt gave any bill for the repair, and told us about the condition of the tyre that got flat.
                  He told us that the tyre was in a very bad condition and we were lucky that it didnt take place on highway or else the tyre would have bursted and would have met with an accident.
                  ...
                  So when we returned the car to the person at the returning spot, where he inspected the flat tyre and told us that we have to pay for the damaged tyre.
                  We tried to tell him what happened in the journey but he was talking rudely and was not even responding properly. He was just telling that we will have to pay the charges and was not listening. Then we told him to listen to us once, then at the end he told that its ok and we can leave.

                  But now i am seeing an outstanding of 7000 for damages,
                  I cant understand how can charges be applied to customer for the tyres that were already in a bad condition.
                  Please help with this issue.

                  You provide car rental service to the customer where the tire get wears on trips.
                  Isn't it your responsibility to check the health of the tires and inspect it beforehand to delivering the car to customer. And if the tire which is not in a good condition gets damaged during any customer trip, you will be charging those customers for the damages of the improper tyre, well that not fair enough.

                  Also let me know the breakdown of charges that has been applied. On what basis Rs.7000 has been charged.

                  I booked a car for 1407rupees & for some reason I had to cancell it, then they deducted 704rupees as a cancellation charge.I booked it on 15/02/2019 at 8PM & cancelled it at9PM for 16/02/2019, then for what reason they deducted this huge amount of704rupee,

                    I have booked a zoom car dated on 10th of feb in pune.. My drop time was 6pm but i have extended the drop time to 8pm but the app didn't show me any payment required to be done for the extended drop time. Zoom car app showed me that my drop time has been extended but when i went to drop my car at 8pm, the zoom car person said me that i have an outstanding amount for late return. When i enquired about that via mail and telephone the zoom car representative told me that the app will show the extended time period for 15min if payment is not done. But i have taken the screenshot of the app at 7pm which still showed me the extended the period of 8pm..
                    I am attaching the screenshot and it's details for your reference. Please do the needful and refund my money back.

                    We understand your concern here.

                    We did check and we have reversed the late return charge and we have charged as per the extension made. For the refund, the amount has been initiated through IMPS. Please note, a link has been shared to your registered email ID. Kindly log into your Zoomcar account on the website and then click on the link. On the landing page, please add your bank credentials and submit. The refund amount shall be instantly transferred to your bank account or you can log in through the app. Navigate to your completed bookings page. Under the respective booking, you shall find the option "Get refund". Click on the same and add your bank credentials. Once done, within 24 hours, the amount shall reflect in your bank account.

                    I did not received my deposits of 4500 which i paid at the time of booking
                    they have have commit ed to refund in with in 48 hours but i didn't received till now its been 2 months .
                    Even i tried to contact to there customer service as well but didn't got any solution.

                      On 15/1/2019 i booked a kuv car (Booking id-jps6futbl) and i paid the total of 3497/- after the trip i should get the refund of my money its almost more than a month but i have not recieved my refund when ever i try to call zoom car suuport they are not responding and not taking any reponsibility about the customers its just showing refund has been initiated but i hve not recieved any refund in my bank account,

                      I have not got my refund amount its almost 1 mnth completed of my booking its just showing refund is initiated..when ever we try to call to customer support there is no responce from the company and they are not taking any responsibility towards the customer

                        I took a swift in guwahati recently for around 3 days. I returned it before time to the location.

                        At the return location, there was the same guy who had given me the car. I got the car checked by that guy as the app asks for any damages before returning the car. After all was verified, i confirmed that all is okey and then handedover the keys.

                        40 mins after this, i get a call that there is a damage on the windshield for which i have to pay rs 5000. I am not sure how this damage happened as it was not there when i returned the car. I called zoom support immediately and they said they will get back but nothing happened. I called again after 2-3 days still no action.

                        Today i received a threatening call from zoom to pay 5000 or else face legal actions. I even received a similar email. Any explanation is not worthy as zoom is trying to extort money to cover their losses.

                        After this i discovered i am not the only one. Zoom has tried to cheat others similarly with damage charges. Plenty stories can be found on this website itself.

                        Please suggest what should be done.

                        Please note, the charges will be levied on the booking after a thorough check. Upon checking, we see that the windshield has been cracked during your reservation, hence you are billed for the same. Kindly note, as it was a keyless entry pickup, there will be no executive available and if there is an executive, there will be no interaction with the customer. Hence, the vehicle was checked post your drop off and you are charged for the damage done.

                        We regret we will not be able to reverse the charge.

                        There was an executive at pickup place who gave me the keys. While returning I locked the car using the key and gave him back. He checked the car properly before taking the key. I am not sure how your technology works, but the car could be opened and locked using the key while returning.

                        Also you are saying, once I park the car and leave. And if someone comes and bashes the car the problem is mine?

                        I know Zoom is not going to revert the charges as you have played similar game with many people.

                        I am seeking community help and support so that you guys cannot do as you please and mint money from customers.

                            Myself dr. Rishin. Booked tata nexa ts07 uf 7008 @ 4.30pm on feb 14 but was delivered at 5:10pm. We were asked to return it at 12:25pm on 15 feb at departure. They also asked us to refuel the vehicle. And we refueled for 700rs (9.8l) as we had used only 111 kms and with a minimum mileage of 12kms/l it will be more than what we used. We were at departure after calling the executive by 12:10pm.. Waited for 15mts and when finally airport security made an issue of confiscating the vehicle for delayed parking did the zoom executives arrive. When asked about fuel refund they said just upload the bills which we couldn't as the option wasn't available and on contacting customer care she said nothing can be done for the refund.. We have the pictures of kms before and after as well as the diesel bill. We hope atleast our fuel bills are refunded after all this bad experience orelse we will have to move legally. Expecting a rational and customer friendly response. Thank you.

                              My booking was cancelled for 12 feb 2019.
                              When contacted customer care they said that someone else booked a fractions of seconds ago and therefore booking could not be done. They said the amount will be refunded within 24 hours but this clearly did not happen.

                              Amount to be refunded and pending -3910.

                              Zoom car booked in chennai.
                              Very poor mechanism.
                              Disappointing services
                              Pathetic customer grievances handling system.

                                Very much disappointed with the cancelled booking refund process by zoomcar (Booking id jps6f7hio).

                                I made booking on 23 nov 2018, paid 4620 inr for booking and later cancelled my booking on the same day.

                                I was to receive refund of 4420 inr and have been told 4420 inr will be credited back to my sbi account on 8 dec, 2018 (Screenshot attached).

                                I patiently waited, but not received any amount back till now. I lodged the complaint but not received any revert (Email attached)

                                Please help in getting my money back.

                                I am hoping zoom team will hear my voice and do the needful...

                                      I took a zoomcar for a day on 6 feb and due to some construction work on some misguided road, vehicle cought some dust which can easy be wash just by throwing a little water on it, after giving the vehicle to the concerned person he told us that we may have got some scratches on the car and have to pay some amount, maybe around 500, later i see an outstanding amout of 5000rs in the app, 1000 for cleaning fees and 4000 for damages, do you get your car washed with any imported substance or what and 4000 for damage, are you kidding 4000 for a part which was already broken!! I got a mail from them that i have to pay within 5 day or they will take criminal actions on me, policies of zoomcar sucks and this company is well know for there cheating policies and pathetic services, after this incident i got to know many people suffering from same thing and got an info that zoomcar is covering there losses from used in whatever way they can think of.

                                      sending me false images is not good for business, dirt images i got from your end doesn't prove that it was the car given to me, there is no way possible that, that much of dirt have got inside, we never steped out in mud or sand, you guys are just using fake images, or your employee would have done that, when i was leaving the car, i asked your employee if anything else was wrong or dirty, he said everything thing else was ok except scratch on left side, and when the person was taking pictures to upload then he didn't took any photographs of inside, just after uploading the outer images i was informed of the outstanding amount, how is it possible for you guys to know if the interior was dirty or not without any photographs, zoomcar is framing me, i wont be booking zoomcar any further and you guys want to get as much money as you can in this circumstance.

                                      It can be a keyless entry pickup but you guys have appointed people for there also, inspection was dont infront of me only, and its nothing big which has to big damage which needs 4000rs denting painting, even the cleaning thing, i didn't do that and i have proof, zoomcar is framing me and wants to get as much money from me as they can in this scenario.
                                      You are using fake image, interior was not having any dust like the photo you have share me in the email.
