This is in reference to the booking done on zoomcar. My booking id jps6bcxse from date 05/04/2019 to 07/04/2019.

Incident dated – 06/04/2019

During our trip, our front right side punctured. We removed that tyre and put the spare tyre which was available in the car. We found that the spare tyre was also punctured. As we were standing on mumbai expressway at lonavala, we immediately call on zoomcar ([protected]) which was not going through. We had left with no other option but to tow the car by private company (M/s swami samarth towing services).

We contacted owner of the car mr. Hemakar shetty, who guided us and also given direct line number[protected] of zoom car. He advised us to talk on given number and briefed them this scenario. We briefed to customer care but he said that he supposed to call zoom car before towing the vehicle. We told him that we tried and ready to share screenshot of mobile wherein zoomcar number was there. We told him that we stopped at puncture shop and we asked him to guide us on which he replied that we will check with our quality inspection team and they will come to location for inspection as vehicle is having gps.

We got the call from quality team after 20 mins and to him also we briefed him. He said to hold the phone and will check with his superior for solution. Finally he told me that to take bills from towing company. We seek advice from him whether to change tyre, for which he answered that to put new tyre and take a bill from him as well and upload it on zoomcar app after you trip completion. They also said, i will get reimbursed your amount within 2-3 days after trip completion.

We did the same as zoomcar customer care advised us. After completion of trip, we uploaded bills.

For towing, lonavala to talegaon: rs. 2, 700.00
For putting new tube and repair charges, rs. 1, 000.00
Total expenses: rs. 3, 700.00

After 3 days, we once got call from zoomcar stating that they cannot refund my amount of rs. 3700.00 as this claim in not valid.

Once again i am uploading pictures while towing, new tube, bill of towing and puncture bill for your reference.

Note: you can check customer care phone call recordings for more clearance and what they committed.

Kindly look into the above matter and reimburse my amount at the earliest.

    My booking id jps6fe8t9
    I had selected for pick up of vehicle from my given adress on 9march 11:00pm
    I received a call from zoomcar executive confirming my address around 10:00pm
    Then i waited till 11:30but no one showed up or dnt receive any call from zoom car regarding the pick up of vehicle and i called them regarding the delayed made by the zoomcar executive
    They told it will take an hour or more for the driver to reach my address or he will pick the car in the morning so i told them i will keep the keys in the car n u can lock from company's side and end my trip he confirmed by asking sir should i end the trip from your side n lock the car
    Then next morning i got a msg that i have due of 5348 i called customer care to resolve it i explained them n then they told they will cancel my due
    But now again am getting a mail after a month that legal steps will be taken if i dnt pay
    If the problem is not resolved thn i have all the prove to take lagal steps as well

      I had booked a zoom car [ booking id : jps6boyq4], where the car promised had less than 10% fuel. I had re-fuelled it assuming that as per policy i will be reimbursed. Below are the problems faced:

      1. Customer support harassing me in the night, making me wait for 35 mins to get the car locked post completion of my hourly contract with them. This happened because of technical incompetence of their mobile app. They kept on arguing over call instead of providing resolution in an unknown location.
      2. The car's pick up location was promised to be in forum mall (Koramangala). The car was located 4.1 km away from the promised location.

        Related to a zoomcar booking id_jps6f9d36
        I had booked a car on 30th march and zoomcar has charged 7000 inr as vehicle damage charges...
        But i regret this because already i had share every single proof photos videos that nothing has been done by me...
        I had gone personally to see the actual vehicle but was not allow to do so..
        Even the security guard denied to show cctv footage while we returned the car...

        Every time i drop a mail regarding this and zoomcar team is asking for 24 hour every time since 31st march...

        Rationale behind writing this mail is to get immediate support on this so that this issue could be resolve at the earliest...
        Also the payment was deducted without any intimation, i do not understand why these people have done this...

        I want my refund until the damage is confirm... Because this team every time tell my issue is under investigation...

        The video has been added to the time of returning the car, which shows that there is no damage, time of taken video-07:35pm, our trip was close on 08:00pm.

        Look forward for your immediate support...

        Expecting a swift response from you because you are now the only resort

          Hi,
          Kindly check the video there is not visibility of 2 inch minor scratch or crack whatever you guys are telling me. This is not done by me so i won't pay a single penny for it and the pickup guy who pick the car today he also didn't saw that crack and if he saw that crack he should had told me about it. When your executive delivered the car to me the car is not washed up properly so it's not possible for me to see that crack. So kindly remove this outstanding amount from my account.

          This is not the first time i booked the zoom car i am a very old customer of zoom car but this kind of experience is happening to me first time.

            I booked zoom car on march 6, 2019. (Tata tiago)
            My booking was inclusive of fuel (90 km)
            When i reached the car it had no fuel and so i had to refill the fuel tank for my journey, as per the company policy any expense incurred will be reimbursed to the customer.

            I wrote zoom car but no action was taken.
            They told me "fuel starting and ending kilometers are 30% and 10%"
            But the actual situation is that the car fuel tank was totally empty. (Can be seen through the pics uploaded on the portal before the start and at the end of the trip)

              Hi,
              My booking id jps6bjvoc and i have rented zoom car [maruti swift] on 10 apr 19 12:30 to 11 apr 19 10:00. The bill amount which was paid full cost at same booking time and security rs 5000 also paid at same time.

              After my trip completed the car is not any damage when i was used it was same condition as before car pickup, zoomcar is applied a 6000 amount in my account for damage and i don't know why i am liable for this?
              And am a recording a video of car after car drop the car has not any damage. The video is upload.
              The zoomcar is applied rs2500 overspeeding charge i agery it my fault and i am pay the amount. But the outstanding amount applied for zoomcar is fake.

              What kind of business they are doing, really disappointed and had a very worst experience.

              This is the another way to cheat the public, need to resolve this issue...

                With regard to the booking id jps6f9vw1.
                I filled fuel worth rs.950 and uploaded the bill accordingly at the trip end. When i didn't receive refund post 3 days of the trip closure. I wrote mail to zoomcar support team reminding about refund and even made multiple calls post which they initiated a partial amount of rs. 241 stating as per their database i am eligible for only so much refund.

                This was very disappointing to hear from them because i had a good experience in the past. If zoomcar cannot refund our money spent then they should keep fuel filled in cars before customer pickup so that we don't lose our money,
                I am expecting justice on this issue and complete refund of rs. 950 so that my trust on zoomcar continue to stay

                Even though i paid late fee and hourly late charges of about 1200+ because the zoomcar app automatically shut every time while extending booking. Upon that customer support number was not reachable during the weekend due to which i ended up paying 1200+ because i was in emergency situation and they didn't show a little empathy to waive off a partial amount also

                That's why I wrote its disappointing. You should have a better methodology to ensure customer is not penalized because of your estimations.
                I don't care what zoomcar do. I am bothered about my full refund of fuel that is Rs. 950 which am not negotiating .

                I certainly getting to believe you are cheating customers. Based on other customer reviews and experiences even I am going through the same where zoomcar refused to refund my fuel money.
                Zoomcar can shutdown anytime due to which they r gathering as much as money possible from customers. People trust and fill fuel in your vehicles and you people deny to refund money. SHAME on you

                  Have book a day out service from zoomcar and accidentaly the car got damage from front quarter driver side it got scratches and a dent too. As check the damage fee policy on zoomcar website it was written that for minor its 2k and for major its 6k. But while returning the car the zoomcar person checked the car and asked me to pay 10k as he said the damage was very major. Then i said him that on site its written that we have to pay 6k if the damage is major. And the damage in not worth of 10k. And he can claim it from insurance. I am ready to pay 6k but he said you to pay whole amount then and then only he can allow me to leave place. As i was in hurry so i haved pay for it.
                  Later when i checked the invoice the charge is in under car cleaning fee nor under damage fee which will directly go into the zoomcar pic n drop agent pocket.

                    My booking number jps6bcrvi and i have rented zoom car [ford figo] on 3rd apr 19. The bill amount which was paid rs 2013 by next day.

                    Again, after 7 days i am getting the call from the in-charge saying that i have to 10, 000 rs and the reason saying that a/c is not working. When i was used it was working and i don't know why i am liable for this?

                    What kind of business they are doing, really disappointed and had a very worst experience.

                    This is the another way to cheat the public, need to resolve this issue.

                      I had booked a zoom car on 2nd april. The car was not clean and i had reported that to the customer care of zoom car, they said that click pictures and we will reimburse you the amount for cleaning. I had clicked pictures at that time only. I completed my ride and returned the car which was clean. When i came back home it was seen that there was a outstanding amount of rs. 906 in my zoomcar app as cleaning charge. The owner of the car said that i had done smoking and drinking in the car which is not true. He had put some cigratte butts and bottle of wine in the car and clicked false pictures. Now i want to raise complaint against the owner of car dl 1n a 3263 ford freestyle.

                        Booking id jps6bj2n9 was booked for a trip at 3:30am of 10thapril2019. I have been trying to cancel the booking since 3:25am, but the ivr doesn't help in cancellation of the trip. When trying to cancel from the app, it is giving error. After an ordeal of 15mins, while trying to reach out to them from facebook messenger, they replied that cancellation charges will be applied, as cancellation will be done post start of the trip (Note: i, customer, never agreed upon starting the trip).

                        Please note once the booking starts you will not get an option to cancel the booking. In case of a cancellation, the refund for the same shall not be processed.

                          I booked 5 days before and at that time they shown me Jntu Kukatpally as pickup point but on the date of booking time they sent me far distance from my location. I have mailed them for many times and even in Facebook also but they are not responding. Jntu Kukatpally is my pickup location and I am having proof of it in the form of mail. But the pickup location is far and when I ask them they are not responding correctly and not giving me any compensation

                          At the time of registration mistakenly i uploaded my friend dl into my account. But now when i'm trying to re-upload my dl into my account. It's showing cannot reupload do. I want to get my friend dl out of my account and upload my DL.when i called zoomcar they r telling that it's in their policy once uploaded can't be removed.

                            I'm incorrectly levied with 10000rs by the zoomcar .
                            I contacted zoomcar customer care for the same and they asked me to lodged a complaint through email. I did as advice.
                            I got an auto generated mail from zoomcar for responding within 24 hours .
                            But no response was received despite sending reminders to the company.
                            Today i have received legal notice from the zoomcar for paying 10000rs without even responding to my enquiries and reminders .

                              After seeing/hearing several good reviews on zoom from friends and relatives i decided to book zoomcar. But it turned out to be a nightmare.

                              I booked tata tiago from 06:30am 6 april 2019 to 5:30 pm 6th april my booking id is jps6bce1r. I paid a total of 1361 inr. We started to roam arround bangalore city at 6:30 am on 6th april with kids, wife and elderly parents. After travelling 10 kilometers the vechicle started showing signs of bad clutch. Suddenly after 80km clutch stopped working. This happenned exactly bangalore trinity circle at 4:20 pm

                              The response from zoom customer care was not prompt. After making several calls to customer care, they registered a complain for the break down and informed us that tvs road side assitance (Rsa) will pick up the vehicle and tow it for repair. Zoom did not offer any alternate vechicle for our trip. Instead they suggested to make our own taxi reservations for the trip.

                              Later a tvs rsa calls me around 12 pm and informs that the towing truck along with a custody person.

                              Finally the custody person karthik arrives at 8:15 pm. He inspected the vechicle and said that this was a hydralic failure and could also happen to the a brand new car and there was no fault of mine. We handed over the vechicle at 8:30pm after some documentation. So i was stuck in bangalore trinity circle for 4 hours. I had to make my own transport arrangements which costed me a heavily.

                              When i called the customer care on 7th april at 5 pm they mentioned that inr 10000 from my account will deduct towards vechicle damages. When i asked the reason, they did not know why and said they would register a complain and that i would receive a call within an hour. They did not mention anything about refunding the fuel amount, which i filled in when i took it.

                              I am still waiting to hear back from zoom.

                                I have booked zoom for 15 to 20 times, and my experience was average only, because of car condition.

                                But when i booked last time the car’s clutch cable got break. And it was not at all moving.

                                I called customer care and didn’t get any proper reply from them. I waited there for arround 6 hour. And that even at night. This happened at bangalore trinity circle. Not outside the city. So think what will be situation if it’s at outside city. We can’t leave the car, we need to be with car.

                                I missed my flight because of them. I took it for just 11hour (6:30am-5:30 pm). And the incident happened at 4:30 pm, on the way to drop the car.

                                Later a person from their had came at 9 :30 pm.

                                Now they are asking me for 10k rupees.

                                If it’s something like accident, then it’s okay. This is for just simple breakdown they are asking me money, and that not even mistake from my side. The car condition was more less than average.
                                They want to make money with faulty car, they will not repair it properly.

                                I filled fuel and receipts uploaded into their website. That also they didn’t refunded.

                                Zoom car may have it brand value.

                                But if something happens with car like breakdown (Not a mistake from our side) we need to pay minimum 10k, that what they told.

                                I will not go for zoom car,

                                I had same experience with drivezy. That is far better. At least they didn’t ask huge money like this..

                                  I have use zoomcar extensively in the past. Two years ago i moved to another country and returned recently. I booked a zoomcar at 10:30 am 21st march, 2019 for 12:00 am. Booking id is jps6f6wyf and i made the payment at 10:30 am.

                                  I booked the car thinking it was my old account but it was a new account with gmail login and zoomcar asked me to upload my license and identity proof which they informed me they would verify by 11:30 am since the booking was to start at 12:00 am.

                                  Zoomcar did not verify my license. I was told on phone that my license is registered with my old account on which there is an outstanding amount of 3600 which they were forcing me to pay. I strongly disagreed with their allegation. This process continues until 1:05 mm, which was well past the start time of 12 am. I demanded the cancellation of this booking and a complete refund. I offered to cooperate on their allegation of the outstanding amount which they said i owed them.

                                  At 1:05 pm, suddenly the zoomcar call centre guys realized the outstanding amount was owed to me rather than by me to them (6uvcffyx). They quickly deleted all the details of my previous account and asked me to start my journey at 1:10 pm. I demanded cancellation because it would take me another 40 minutes to reach the pickup point and it was well past our start time of 12:00 am for our half day trip to akshardham. Meanwhile, i had my friend book another zoom car in his account for our trip.

                                  On repeated requests and several attempts to explain my case, zoomcar canceled my booking but refused to refund the money the money for the canceled booking (Jps6f6wyf).

                                  Since that day i have received several emails from them asking my account details so that they can refund me for 6uvcffyx. Clicking the link deleted my old account. I sent them my bank details through several emails but to no avail. I receive their automated responses.

                                  I have tried their number several times, but could not get through the automated system. It seems they have black listed me. Such treatment despite being one of their earliest customers and disappointing. Their refusal to acknowledge the issue and bending the truth is scary.
                                  Their refusal to engage is outright bullying.

                                  Booking ID for the booking made by my friend is: JPS6F63TL
                                  It was from the same pickup location and the same car (although a different plate number) as was the booking attempted by me. We went together to pick the car and I raised the issue with your ground staff at the pick-up point as well.

                                    I booked car nd after driving for 30 min car stop working as there were no cooler nd gas kit was damaged

                                    I waited on ajmer jaipur highway for 6 hours after speaking to all executive no one helped me at the end by 10pm they arranged toing van and they cancel my booking

                                    Ali from escalation team inform that he will arrange call back for saturday by 12pm about my refund charges

                                    No one was bothered to call and when i called on same day aroung 6.45 your agent name as mr. Trivedi said i have used 4600 nd i ll not get refund where i havenot used car for 1 hour also

                                    All agent are useless nd not working at all
                                    I want my complete 9400 refund as soon as possible as it was not my issue that car was not mentain nd i have all the recording nd vedio nd photos if i ll not get resolution in next 48 hours i ll go to consumer court nd not one can stop me for that as zoom car agent has harassed me a lot from last 24 hours

                                      I completed my booking on 18th march. Today is 6th april and i haven't received my refunds yet.
                                      It's been 18 days and the refund is not processed this is just insane.

                                      The worst part is the customer care executive won't talk to you, as soon as you press the button to talk to the executive they will disconnect your call.

                                      They didn't give me a satisfactory response on the email as well.

                                      Before booking, i was skeptic of zoomcar as general people didn't hold good reviews about the company but i still decided to continue. I had a satisfactory experience with the car, but they failed to in the aspect of dealing with customer refunds. There is not even a point of contact.

                                      I will wait for a couple of days more, after that, i will have no choice but to register a complaint on the national consumer helpline.

                                        Hi my name is gururaj i had subscribed for zap costing close to 26000 per month

                                        Bookings went terrible only 30% and in the next month no revenue,

                                        When i spoke for termination they are charging me very huge money

                                        If i want to keep the car they are asking me to pay monthly 26000

                                        They will make my life hell by taking legal action and my cibil score gets affected

                                        Kindly people dont subscribe for zoom car its a rubbish money making platform by zoom by writing down their own policies..

                                        You keep changing your policy and for the money paid in advance your charging penalty, , if the Vechicle doesn’t get the bookings why the user has to bear huge loss if he goes for termination they demand huge money, , ,

                                        YOUR POLICIES KEEP CHANGING AND THOSE CHANGES ONLY FAVOURS YOU ..totally money making platform irrespective of the business done by zoom, because you are taking money in advance from Subscribers. If the business goes for a toss the zap associate money paid in advance already in zoom account, and you ask for the next month advance, , if the zap associates does not pay you put daily 300Rs penalty .. and send them legal notice .. The subscriber is literally cornered by your policies..
                                        He has to pay money or you put them fine if he is not in a position to make money you will handle legally..

                                        You people write so beautifully on your website for subscribers attention
                                        The customer subscribe for peanut earnings later he has to loose huge money because he has to keep the car for min 6 month or end up paying huge penalties and legal action if he is not in a position to make payments..

                                        I'm facing the same issue, they wont talk about our concerns. They only look for reasons that favours them, and simply ignores all.

                                        One of the worst part is they wont communicate very often and no straight way to talk to them expect to raise tickets from their platform even those tickets gets closed without proper resolution.

                                        I've been trying to raise tickets from last 2 months regarding my car servicing and worst part is no one showed up and my car been blocked for few days everytime so that i cant use it. Even those days you need to pay for the subscription .

                                        Worst service ever. If you decided to go for this without having any concerns with car maintanance or any other kind of issues that you can take care yourself. Then go for it.
