I work at iucaa, pune and commute with pedl cycle owned by zoomcar. On a daily basis following are the problems i generally face.

1. Unlocking and locking the cycle at the beginning and end of the trip due to technical or mechanical issues. But somehow i manage it.

2. Most of the times when i want to end my trip at a pedl station, it still asks me to find a nearby station. This may be due to gps system issues within their cycle. But after trying 5-6 times it accepts and thus the ride ends.

3. Most of the times it also says that the station is full and park it at the other one. Then i have to run it for about 1 km and after reaching other station too, sometimes it says the same thing (Station is full)

4. When i try to approach the customer care, there is no phone no, no direct email. I always have to approach via app while selecting nature of the issue and its description.in return, i always get an automated reply which is useless. Today they deducted my balance but returned after a strong complaint and that too after waiting long.

In conclusion, i reach my office late every single day and despite my constant emails, they don't improve on it. The biggest problem is when the ride does not end, because of above-mentioned issues, i am helpless and even more when i realize the cycle costs a lot. So, instead of providing good services and convenience, zoomcar (Pedl) causes more inconvenience. The deduction of money is also ambiguous because i don't keep a track of my paytm balance.

What the hell you automated sorry are for. You ### are not ending my trip instead asking me to pay 138 rupees for the issue that caused because of your technical problems. You call me one and will tell you what you should be sorry for.

Why it is being marked resolved? Just writing on a platform is not going to work. Please work on real grounds.
Booked a cycle, but lock did not open, and not able to end trip, till now 1rs has charged, when I click to end trip it takes time to process and shows time up, so plz resolve this issue as I m paying unnecessary, plz look after this issue, this is second time

    My cycle didnot unlock and i am not able to end the trip as well. Money is getting deducted every 30 mins. The trip is on from last 5 hours approx. I didnot drive for even a single minute and single km.
    What the hell, i am really frustrated because of this. Please end this trip and provide me the refund as well.

      Incident detail:
      I was heading towards Kolar from Bengaluru in extreme right lane..
      The bus in question was facing the same direction in the extreme left lane but wasn't moving.
      The bus made a sudden U turn, with no signal.
      I saw the bus turning, applied brakes, speed got reduced to around 30-40km/hr but later brakes had no effect to reduce speed further...
      With very less time left to impact, I had to turn the vehicle towards left to avoid collision and ended up hitting the tail part of bus...

      Issue:
      - The vehicle had SRS airbag which didn't get deployed.
      - The break failure
      ( Have police report, video and pictures to support the above )

      I told the Zoomcar team to analyse the car for its brake efficiency then get back to me.

      I got a call today informing that the damage report says "I was travelling 100+ km/hr and the speed became 0 after impact. Hence I never applied brakes."
      This shows the how faulty the report is. Had I hit the bus at 100Km/hr the damage would have been devastating not just the bonnet damage(see the images attached). The executive denied to send me the damage report too and told me to pay the charges or face legal proceedings with per day interest of 18%.

      Now, For an accident which was caused due to no fault of mine, I am expected to pay an amount without even seeing the report.

      Additional info:
      - Zoomcar representative asks me to get the police letter but not FIR (conversation screenshot attached).
      - Zoomcar insurance representative asks me not to mention about airbags and breaks in police report to assist them claim insurance (conversation screenshot attached).
      - There was no assistance provided after impact other than a executive asking us to wait till the tow vehicle reaches the spot (Which took 3hrs to reach). No alternate vehicle assistance too.

        The pedl cylce stations near our house are at kphb children's park and sai sowmya homes, and there are no cycles available there to start a trip, the situation has been like this for the past 2 days, it's really an inconvenience.

        Kindly, take precautions to make the cycles available all the time.

          I booked a car from Delhi and drove the same to Agara.
          First and foremost i had booked a Honda Jazz and at the last minute i was conveyed that the said vehicle is not available at location and they offered me a swift instead, car number DL1NA1154 The car was parked at aditya mall Indirapuram in the basement which is a very dark and shady place and we were very uncomfortable to go to the same place as it was very dark and deary and did not feel safe at all to be going with family .They told me to take a video of the car which i did as requested and the person pointed at some scratches and dents during taking the video.
          On my returning the vehicle the same vehicle was taken to a better lit place and the person in charge Mr Sushil having cell number[protected] asked me to see the video which i duly showed it to him after inspecting the video he said there was a minor crack on the left hand rear tail lamp and the same was caused by me as it was not visible in the video .I told him the crack was from before and it did not happen by my hand as there was already a previous dent on the bumper which was clearly visible on the video and of the light had to crack then the bumper would also be damaged as the bumper protruded es outside the tail lamp and the bumper was clearly dislodged earlier as was visible in the video, but this person was very rude and was not Willing to listen as this was a truly well organised setup to dupe the customer.
          This is the second time Zoom has caused me a problem on my earlier booking i had booked a Scorpio from Delhi railway station but was asked to pick vehicle form different location for which i had to bear cab fare of additional Rs2000 which was not refunded to my account as promised by zoom cars.
          on further inquiring i got to know that the Jaz car ordered by me is not at all available at the location of Aditya Mall so how did zoom allot me the car from this location this is highly questionable??
          I would request all future customers to take full precaution at aditya mall as this seems to be the way of operations of the persons operating these cars and would request ZOOM to investigate the matter further and provide relief and stop such un-scruples persons from operating under their brand which will adversely affect to zoom cars reputation.
          Now this person has claimed additional rs2000/- from my account and zoom is asking me to pay for the same. As my complaint is genuine i would request zoom to check its records if similar claims are being made from their associate vendor and if proved true appropriate action must be taken to stop such cheating activities if Zoom is to be a truly successful venture.
          And for zooms information the video is shot on an Iphone so you can imagine how dark it is in the basement parking where the cars are kept.

              I am very disappointed with the pedl cycle rental by zoom cars.. As i am not able to end trip and there is no way to contact service helpline..: (

              I unlocked a bicycle number 103042 for my son from law college road, pune, opp tata motors showroom, at 6:54am on 18march2018

              My son forgot to lock it and it was missing from vetal tekdi, ahead of vik he patil school.

              We lodged a complaint at @8:30 am on the app thru email.. As there is no other option of sms or tel/ mobile number.

              Not sure how to end this trip..! Disappointing service support without any helpline...

              It’s been more than 24hrs now that I reported missing pedl cycle 103042, I hv still not been able to end the trip, nor hv I heard from any customer support:( is there any pedl helpline? Can someone guide me how to end trip ... the trip charge is still mounting by the hour ..

              Its been more than 24 hours, I am very much disappointed by this PEDL Cycle Customer Support..as i could not unable to end the trip yesterday with the cycle number 102870 someone others using this or it may be missing i don't know.

              Still am paying the trip charges please can anyone help me how to get over this. I could not find any contact details i wrote queries on couple of times through emails but i could not find any solution.

                Cycle id 102559. The cycle at location in front of cyberabad police station didn't unlock by using the cycle id but the trip started and is still active. I tried to end the trip multiple times but it denied. Money from my paytm account deducted. Also receiving messages of incurring an outstanding. Plz end my ride and refund my money back as i even didn't ride the bicycle for a minute.

                  This is regarding booking id # jps6213ys. The cost for 4hrs and 60kms driving was 920kms and i gave a deposit of 5000 inr as well. Before booking started i was told that they cannot provide me car the from the pickup location they mentioned at the time of booking you have to come to some different location to pick up the car. This disturbed my plan as the new location was 10kms far then the previous one, they said they will pay for the two way taxi cost. I had no option because they changed everything at the last moment so i said ok ill come to new location. I was 15 min late when i reached so i was expecting the executive will speedup up the initial level formalities but instead he was too slow and i was again more 20 min late. Finally when we picked the zoomcar only after 5kms of driving tyre got punctured. It took half n hour to replace the tyre and we fixed the puncture from our pocket money. When we reached to park back the car the zoomcar executive told us that he will charge 3500 inr for that puncture, whick we had already fixed. I called zoomcar team to report incident and they said sir we will help you once they charges told by executive gets uploaded into the system. I called them after charges got upload but since then nobody is picking up the phone, what a team of crooks. My taxi charges are 950 inr they said they will help me with the refund of that also... But as they are not picking up the phn i have got looted there also.

                    They gave us the car for 27 hours. The car was in the parking zone of wonderla and as soon as we thought to drive back the care was not starting. We called him around 7 and around 7:30 they assured us to send us a technician within one and half hour. And now it a been 4 hours none has come to help. From the last two hours the technician is saying that he is reaching in 10 mins. Very poor service. Highly unsatisfied.

                      As part of the next steps, we will reach you 7 days prior to your car delivery. You will have to make a payment towards advance subscription fee (Along with applicable taxes) and refundable security deposit.

                      After some days i got a payment link for 25k change & i paid them in time with subscription id: i8wr7j & email id is: [protected]@gmail.com. After payment as in their policies states that they should deliver the car within 48 hours of customer wish r 7 days from the date of payment. I have opted for delivery on 14th, but the executive called me & stated me that the deliveries takes place from 15th so plz change the date, hence i change the date from 15th to 18th, but till 17th i did not get any confirmation as well as any mail r any call regarding my delivery, so i called customer care & one of their associate told me that she will confirm & arrange a call back to me today, but i did not get any call, hence i called them again after 2 hours of waiting time finally the call connected & i asked them for about my delivery of car, they stated again stating there are some issues with rto & other, hence we will deliver the car after 22nd of this month. As i have planned for a trip in new car with my family & hence this is the second time that i need to cancel the trip on their behalf is not tolerable & i asked them to arrange a alternate vehicle for tomorrow & day-after tomorrow so i dont want to cancel my trip & i can wait till 22nd, but there is no answer from them to my question, as i have wasted a lot of time as well as trust & the service is also not nice & they are troubling the customers by delaying the dates, if they are unable to deliver the car for once is acceptable but making this twice & thrice is no tolerable, so please think this case seriously as so many customers are affecting because of this & i need to compensate for my wasted time r should do me something favour as i have asked above as per company policies that should satisfy me.

                        I booked a car on 2 november, 2017 with id - jps6t6vrd for which i paid 5760 and 228 after. I had to receive a refund amount of 5000 which i haven't received yet. I filed a complaint in zoom car multiple times but there's been no such satisfying and useful response. Zoom car told me to contact paytm aslo but there's been no good response from them too. I am very much disappointed for the service you are providing me.

                          Money is deducting without using the cycle. I booked the cycle but the lock is not working and even when i try to cancel the trip, it's not taking. Since last night 16th march, money is deducting. Please refund the money.

                          My experience with pedl is worst. Even i not used it at any second, it's deducting the amount, and there is no customer service available to complain.
                          I forgot the number. But they can track my record using my cell no. Please do resolved it.

                          Even I face the same problem, PEDL has charged me for the duration of 10 hours. On top, It is asking to pay for the outstanding. If they can track people, why can't they track their own cycle in the PEDL station. I still recieve the message to return cycle to their station.

                            Hi team,

                            I booked a car around 3:00am after i visited your zoomcars workshop i doesn't allow me to unlock the car... It's stating that clear previous outstanding, but what my query is it should have been notified me before when i made the payment but it doesn't.

                            And another thing is i called your customer care and spoke with mr. Karthick he said he is a supervisor anyways i request him to cancelled the booking but he said cancellation cannot be possible.

                            Team i request you to refund my amount to my account please.

                                Someone has taken it and I am unable to end trip now.

                                  So disappointed by Zoomcar’s service.

                                  10 days back i booked a zoomcar and picked it from Murugeshpallya. There were damages that I already marked on the app. While returning the car I forgot my packed meal inside the car. I couldn’t take it out as the car was already locked.

                                  But disappointing is that they charged me 1000 rupees for a damage that only god knows when it happened in a trip that lasted only 5 hrs to airport. They also charged 1000 rupees cleaning fee for forgetting my packed meal. I could have accepted had I spilled the food.

                                  I have been a fan of zoomcar. But disappointed this time.
                                  Not expected from a self drive brand like zoomcar.

                                    Respected zoom car customer care,

                                    This letter is regarding booking id : jps628717.

                                    Date of booking 02/02/2018 at 21:00 pm.

                                    The car booking ended 4 hours late and the car, ford figo, was remotely turned off by zoom car at a location near maddur near the highway at 2:00 am. Some 80 km from bangalore, the place of booking and return.
                                    We, the customers completed the journey by bus the next day after spending a cold night in the car next to the highway.

                                    The zoom car company demands that i pay a sum of rs. 39, 543/-.
                                    Inclusive of which are "damage charges"and "inconvenience fees".
                                    The amounts fore mentioned are exorbitant and highly fraudulent.

                                    The zoom car company is harassing innocent customers with exorbitant and absolutely false claims and fee demands.

                                    There was absolutely no damage to the vehicle during the entire course of the trip. I am 21 years old and have 7 years of driving experience.
                                    And the vehicle was returned in the exact condition it was in before.
                                    Even cleaned by us before leaving.
                                    Moreover the vehicle was already in a very bad condition.
                                    We did a walk around before starting the trip and after the trip was ended by zoom car.
                                    The steering was tough and the brakes were vibrating and noisy and unstable.
                                    The fog lamps in front were missing and proved very hazardous in night-time driving conditions.
                                    A vehicle rented to customers in hazardous condition is a serious offense.
                                    For which apparently no one at zoom car cares about.


                                    I have made repeated calls to the customer care helpline and tried to have an intelligent conversation with the person (S) in charge. To discuss the fraudulent charges.

                                    However, i have been repeatedly told that i will soon be reached by a senior person in charge.

                                    But i have so far, never received a call.
                                    I have only received harassing emails and letters which belligerently ask me to pay whatever amount mentioned.

                                    I am willing to pay the initial agreed upon amount of rupees 6000, inclusive of only the booking and the late fees.

                                    The overall sum is an impossible amount that zoom car has been harassing me continuously with emails and letters to pay. Without however actually providing an account number or name to make the payment to.

                                    And moreover i am strongly inclined to further publicize and bring to light these extremely fraudulent corporate practices. This was my first experience with zoom car.
                                    And if i am continued to be harassed by unnecessary emails and legal notices then i will make sure that the public and the legal advisory is exposed to your fraudulent practices.

                                    I have collected enough evidence of such practices by zoom car and will pursue further if not settled immediately with the initial amount along with the late fees amounting to rs.6000.

                                    I am not the first person who was exposed to such corporate fraud by zoom car. There have been many complaints in the past of such practices. And i have reached out to these previous customers and have garnered their support.
                                    And i am not subject to such corporate harassment and fraud.

                                    As mentioned before, i am willing to pay the initial agreed upon amount. And will promptly do so if i am provided with a payment destination.

                                    Zoom car has very bad service and very corrupted infrastructure. Which is not only inconveniencing but also very cold and un-explaining to customers.

                                    Zoom car has been an absolutely harrowing experience.

                                    Please stop consumer harassment.

                                    Kindly accept the initial agreed upon amount inclusive of late fee.
                                    And provide me with details to make payment. Which you surprisingly failed to in the course of all the emails and the legal notices.

                                      This is regarding fuel reimbursement of 2000rs on booking id jps62r2sg.
                                      I booked car for 960km and driven only 867km. I refueled the car for additional rs 2000 and while applying for reimbursement they are refunding only 1767 rs.
                                      I contacted them for the full refund but they are giving all silly reasons for not refunding the full amount.

                                        Hi.. I took a pedl cycle # 102947 and dropped my cycle at 4:40 in paranur railway station. But i was not able to end the trip as there was a network problem and i forgot to lock the cycle also as it was my first time. Now someone took the cycle and riding it without locking it i guess. But i've been charging. Please help me end the trip or at least help me tracing the cycle.
