Dear concern,

I am unable to end the trip, application made me run from one parking stand to another, however kept on throwing the message that please find another open stand. I just can't keep roaming to find a vacant parking lot... At the same time billing is still going on... It seems to be a fraud and deliberate billing strategy of zoomcar...

Please lock pedl cycle no 100106. The cycle is theft. Someone else is using it right now.I can't find out and lock my pedl cycle.

    Hi - for booking id : jps62woym

    My xuv was going for service and i had taken a zoom car 2.5 day 300 km package. This is an automated collect and drop off car.

    I reached the place and found car full of dents, scratches and a hole in the bumper. Called zoom service to report, they asked to report via app and take video if possible, so i did take video and reported via app - app said car does not seem suitable to drive and zoom exec will call - i was getting late and i left. No zoom exec ever called.

    I returned the car and later when checking the app for the invoice which i need to file i find i am charged 10k for damage when all i did was take the car to office and back and i have been driving 20 years without single insurance claim (Have max 50% ncb). I tried calling zoom several times but when i press 6 the call just disconnects. So, i wrote to them and got a response to wait 24-48 hours. Now i get message and email to pay 10k.

    Please note i have returned the car in exactly same condition i took it other than wash it because it was dirty and i had to take it to office. I asked around some auto forum members and they say such partner cars are prone to these kind of frauds.

    Based on the outcome of this complaint i will decide my next steps. I have requested zoom to blacklist this particular partner - other than the return fraud they are trying to pull on me, the car is not well maintained and interiors smelt disgusting. Please note the car is kept in a flat in a slum like area and multiple people saw me in my xuv (Which struggled on the narrow roads to get there) and the partner got greedy i think.

    For all others who read this - please avoid auto collect partner cars, not worth it.

    Day 3 status - Absolutely no call/email from zoomcar after the we will get back to you in 24-48 hrs email. I have one more set of automated email and SMS to pay 10k immediately. I still have no clue what these 'damage' charges are for - the app does not state what these false charges are for.

    I tried calling zoom support many many times since this issue. The IVRS simply says I owe 10k and when I press 6 to speak to customer care executive it simply disconnects the call.

    I would like to take this case up legally but have severe paucity of time due to my work. If any lawyer/activist/any other affected party want to take this case on my behalf I will be very grateful. Pls comment back on this post to help.

    Update: Evening Mar 7 I get a call from zoomcar exec that they need one more day to resolve and they will call back. I ask Exec if our call is recorded, she says yes and i reiterate all that has happened, including my first call to zoomcar as soon as I saw car when I went to pick it up, the hole in rear bumper which looks as though made purposely by sharp objects and how liquid vulcanization can fix it relatively cheaply for the partner. Exec happy to hear I have taken video and asks to forward to zoomcar support but I was not able to as it is > 25 MB, So I write to them (frustrating that I cannot call them) -

    There is no update at all on 08 Mar, the day they are supposed to close the case.

    I write to them again. No response.

    I get their automated email and SMS at midnight saying if I don't pay 10k in two days, they will suspend my account.

    Am not sure how they can do that when I have done everything right including writing in to report. (Can't get over the fact that I can't call them)

    We should have better powers in India to sue the these guys for harassment

    Why should I go through the agony because of a lie and greed of their partner?

      It was horrible experience from zoom car i was taken car in the month of feb booking id jps62grf0 this was my first booking in zoom car while taking car driver ask about check in after everything process i whoud have ask him earlier scratches he said take video for scratches i took video also, after check out some one came and collect the car he never ask anything about scratches after 30 min he was # fellow calling and telling scratches happen how come after 30 min scratch
      Kindly answe me my below points
      1) i would have asking images while check out time driver has taken along with properties
      2) i was communicating with your mail always without providing relevant information you people are proceeding legal action
      3) kindly stop making money from innocent people
      4) myself will promote this issue as social media untill getting my justice
      Kindly take it high priority on this if not if happen anything zoom car relented bad impression i m not responsible

      I want see the damage photos while taking your driver i whould have ask damage photo along with properties because I also know when I was delivered the car at wt time your fellow taken car damage photos untill unless if not sharing this things I cannot pay

        We have faced a lot of problem with the lock tried taking it to different stations because it was giving a message find nearby station.
        No helpline number no such faq on the website and no other help
        We have wasted our 3 hours with that lock issue created such lock problem
        Much annoyed with these thing.
        Also we r being charged uptill now.
        Request you to end the trip from your side.

          I took a pedl bicycle at 7:53 pm yesterday night (March 4 2018) from he quarters at iisc. After 25 minutes of ride, i tried to park it back and end the trip. It gave message that parking full, try other pedl stations. I went around to 3 pedl stations to end the trip but to no avail. At the last station, when i ended the trip near ne quarters, by manually locking the bicycle. The sensor was not working and i could not unlock the cycle. My many attempts to unlock, end the trip did not succeed. Also end trip resulted in failure message "timed out pls try again". I wasted more than 30 minutes,

          Now my zoom car account shows pay rs 19 to continue using the pedl.

          Case 739043 - 'bad experience. Tried 3 pedl stations to end the trip, still could not end, have licked the cycle. I rode only for 25 minutes and struggling last 30 minutes to end the trip. Also tried to unlock after locking that also is not functioning. The cycle is at ne qtrs of iisc at pedal station. Kindly end the trip with 30 minutes use.'

            I got some legal notice from zoom for charges forced on me.!! I am getting harassed by zoom customer care and they are blackmailing. I regret for using your service.

            I do not agree with the charges levied on this booking. First of all, the car which i received had multiple issues (Full of dusts, windscreen wiper not working, too many prior damages, very hard clutch as it seemed it was not maintained very well, car keys confusions as it was not present in dashboard, etc).
            I tried to point these things to the zoom attendant available at that time but he insisted me to take the car in present condition.

            However in the interest of my time as it was very late in night, i had to take the car.

            Again i disagree with the tyre condition shown by you as it was already partially damaged. I also sent some pics which i had taken prior while taking the car on 4th feb which shows multiple other damages as well.

            Agree with the scratch seen on the right back side (If that the other damage is being talked about), but i dont remember seeing any at time of leaving the car.
            After dropping the car at the drop location i insisted the attendant to check, but he insisted again to leave. However i got a call from him after half an hour about multiple issues which i still not agree with the internal mess.

            Also if you guys are taking huge money for scratches and internal cleaning, why i did not get the car in excellant conditoon on 4th feb itself??

            Summing above that i dont think i should pay such a huge amount of rs 3500 for these considering they are not crystal clear and i suspect some dishonest behaviour of the zoom attendant present at the garage.
            Please remove these hefty extra charges from my account as it will force me to discontinue using zoom in future.

            I also get threat calls from zoom that if i dont pay in so and so time limit they are going to increase the amount of charges by adding interest rates as high as 18%!!! Is this blackmailing legal?

              I had booked swift under booking id: jps62rd06 for 2 days.
              I was traveling in vehicle with another 4 members of family including 4 year old kid.

              While returning vehicle even in all good condition, new fleet service located in nagpur started picking argument due to dust on mud guard and threatened to charge 2000/-.

              On my argument at that time he did not add cleaning charges but while i checked for my refund found 1000/- deducted with no justification.

              I did not get justifiable answer against my complaint in "case:694220" with zoomcars.

              I felt bad because i have been using this service for last 5-6 years, but never faced such injustice.

                I am not able to unlock my cycle after it get locked and also, i am not able to end my trip.
                Sometimes pay with paytm option comes but during payment it show no outstanding remaining.

                I have already sent a mail with attached images. But no one replied back.
                I have wasted 2 hours on this at last i have kept the cycle at stand

                Please end my trip at your end and refund my money back.

                  Booked cycle no. 101110.
                  It shows on my phone that the cycle has been unlocked when it actually hasn't. I'm not able to unlock the cycle nor am i able to cancel the trip. I tried to manually unlock it but to no avail. And now it saying me to pay 27 rupees and already it took 14 rupees from my paytm account, even i couldnt send email, while trying to send mail it showing that something went wrong. Whats wrong with you guys
                  And please make sure that you have a dedicated customer care number exclusively for pedl.

                    Booked a zoom car last week.. There was a gprs failure., i. E gprs through app showed a different location than the location where i picked up the car.. However i parked the car in right location and also had to confirmed through customer care person who said it was in right location.. However they later charged me a fine of 2500 rs saying it was wrong location.. Even according to their gprs it was less than a kilometre difference.. I consider this as a fraud and unhappy with their customer care and services.. Definitely not recommended..!!

                    Haven't got any solution from this forum.. but have realised a few things about zoom car usage..

                    1 no /minimal human interaction and help is available from zoom car team even at time of technology failure or crisis situation

                    2. Keep taking pictures of car, gprs, location, car condition before and after trip and keep proofs since they would try to book you under some or the other penalty clause

                    3 I guess their revenue from penalty charges exceeds their actual revenue from the trips !!!

                    4 customer care diplomatically encourage you to make errors ( especially with beginners ) in order to charge you penalty at every possible option..

                    5. Seems to me that lot of fraud happens and not trust worthy..

                    6. To summarize " don't use zoom car" .. not but not the least

                    Don't ever use zoom car..!!

                      Like numerous other complaints;
                      I too locked my cycle outside my house while in an on going trip.
                      And it hasnt unlock in last 39minutes despite numerous attempts; how ever it shows a pop up in the app saying "you cycle is unlocked"

                      . Ending the trip shows a nithing pop uo saying "timed out".

                      Please fix the issue asap.

                      I got an SMS saying that tue ride has ended, both the application and the website show me a timer, the charges ever increasing and i cannot book any pedl bikes either.

                      CONTACT US page on the website cannot be accessed, because supposedly there is not booking.

                      THIS IS GETTING WEIRDER, AND MORE AND MORE ANNOYING BY THE MINUTE. And clearly there is no response on the company's behalf.
                      PERHAPS, its a bad choice after all.

                      I have used that method, and I have sent multiple complaints through the app.
                      The ride charges kept increasing; and now the Cycle is lost.

                      Again, I used it for less that 2hours then locked it.
                      And now its gone.
                      The ride has exeeded 36hours mark now; and is charging me more and more by the second.
                      I need an asnwer, I wont be shuffling between email and apps anymore.

                      I am done trying to fix your problems. Since you have no interest in fixing it.

                      Lost Location : St. 622, Eco Urban Village, Action area 2, Newtown
                      Lost Scenario : The cycle was used for 2hours, and locked outside my house. Couldn't be unlocked for over 1day and a half. And no response from the support team for the longest period of time. Eventually, I go out to check on the cycle and try to unlock it again, and it wasn't there. I imeediately contacted the support again, and still trying to figure out what exactly is the procedure.

                        Hi,

                        I have unlocked the wrong cycle and i am unable to locate it. I was trying to unlock cycle no 101378 which is currently in casa rio club pedl station, but unfortunately i have unlocked cycle no 101368. I am unable to end the trip as well, as the popup is throwing an error that please lock the bike. I am continuously loosing my money as paytm is linked.

                        Please resolve the issue as early as possible.

                          I scanned for a cycle 101680
                          The cycle didn't unlock at all.. Tried manually also and the journey already started.. Couldn't lock the cycle again not can i end the trip.. Rs.30 already deducted from my paytm and i couldn't ride the cycle for even a single minute nor could i book other cycle. Please look into the matter with utmost emergency.. Money is getting incurred in my paytm

                            This e-mail is with reference to the booking made by you on 12th Feb, 2018 8.00 AM using booking ID JPS62HGMH through the company's webpage/mobile application. You had made initial payment of rs.3804/- as initial rental charges for the aforementioned booking for car bearing registration number Jazz MH14FC4461.

                            It has come to our attention that the car has been used in excess of the paid rental amount and in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you, you are liable to make payment of ₹8500 to the company. Please note that failure to make payment of the due amount will render you liable to civil proceedings and the company would be entitled to recover the due amount by attachment of your property (movable/immovable) or otherwise. Further, willfully declining or making delay to pay the above said outstanding amount could also subject you to criminal proceedings.

                            Hi,

                            Please be a little more specific on how "the car has been used in excess of the paid rental amount".

                            Secondly, "in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you"- this acknowledgement was a result of the harassment that i was put through that night (10 PM ) without any proper justification of the penalty being levied against my account, whilst i was stranded on the middle of the highway with my mother having nowhere else to go.

                            Despite repeated denial of the damages being done to the car during the time it was under my usage, i am being harassed for pre-existing issues with the car.

                            I encountered a tyre puncher, which i later fixed ( find bill for proof
                            ). Despite this, the spare tyre which got punchered was already in a bad condition. Moreover, your technician acknowledged that the tyre given was already ruptured. I don't recall the last time someone was charged a fine of RS. 10, 000 for a tyre puncher.

                            I demand to see proof stating that your tyres( including the spare tyre ) was given to me in good condition, the reason for levying an excess fine of 10, 000 (with bills) and the reason for all the harassment I underwent with your Customer support while I was in the middle of a highway with an old mother at 10.00 PM.

                            To my best knowledge, I fixed the car tyre and it was taken back to your pickup point.

                            Do not harass your customers this way.

                              I booked a cycle 101595 stationed at my office location & used it for around 15 - 20 minutes, but unable to end trip stating parking is full and end trip at some other station, which also shows the same message.                                 I have unlocked wrong cycle number 100984 instead of 100982. I reported this to the zoom car customer service through mail and received a reply from the zoom car asking me for the phone number and the cycle number unlocked. But it is more than 4 hours and my trip is not ended yet and amount keep on increasing.
                                Zoom car please rectify this as soon as possible as amount increasing very rapidly.

                                  It was my 5th booking in zoom car. I have driven around 600km using zoom car and like how i took their car like that i have return back the car to them not even a single scratch has made to the car because of me i have recommend zoom car to my friends also. But on tuesday 20.2.2018 at 3.30am i booked a scorpio and i paid for 460 km. After driving few km then only i noticed clutch was in a very bad condition. While returning from athirappilly water falls in kerala (Time 5.30pm) to coimbatore. Clutch became completely failure. I couldn’t to anything. So i informed this breakdown of vehicle to zoom car customer service and they connected me to mahindra roadside assistant after waiting around 3 hour recovery van came for towing the vehicle around 9 o clock and after that only zoom car call taxi came (They said 50 km up and down is free in zoom car taxi service after that i will be charged) and after arguing a lot they dropped me in thrisur railway station and he charged me 105rs for toll. All trains to coimbatore junction was full. I had no other options so i took open tickets to coimbatore junction. Unreserved compartment was fully crowded myself and my friends was standing in train for 4 hours because there was no seats available in unreserved compartment. At 2.00 am we reached the coimbatore junction and from junction to my home i booked ola cab he charged me 230rs i suffered a lot because of zoom car.in my zoom car login i had a outstanding amount 10000rs and zoom car customer service executive said it is general damage charges and i said i didn’t damage your vehicle for that he replayed after seeing the service report of the damaged vehicle only they will decide whether i should pay 10000rs. If it was my fault i should pay 10000rs to zoom car. If it was zoom cars fault i no need to pay and it will take around 2 to 3 days to resolve this issue
                                  And after two days also i had outstanding amount of 10000rs in my zoom car login. I tried to contact zoom car customer care service if i enter my registered mobile number to customer care service they are not connecting me to their customer care executive itself. Now they have mailed me saying that (‘’ hi! We noticed that you have yet to pay an outstanding amount of rs 10000 for your past bookings ["jps62msj0"]. Please pay the outstanding amount within next 2 days to avoid disruption of zoom car services. Thank you!’)
                                  1) i drove that car only 280km. But i have paid for 460 km
                                  2) i took the car at 54899 km and when i gave the car to towing service it was 55175 km
                                  3) i have filled diesel for rs 1000. I have that bill and i uploaded that bill to my login in zoom car also they didn’t refund me till now
                                  4) train tickets from thrisur to coimbatore it costs rs 300
                                  5) ola cab charges from coimbatore junction to my home rs 230
                                  6) myself and myfriends was standing for 4 hours in train
                                  7) our whole trip was spoiled

                                    The cycle 101422 which i rented through pedl zoomcar app was not getting unlock right from start. I did not even drive it because it was locked (It was not unlocking by clicking the damn button o[censored]nlock).
                                    So, i opted to end the trip then it keep on saying to lock it to end the trip.
                                    How in the god's name the already locked thing can be lock again?

                                    Anyway to soothe this thing i manually tried to check whether the cycle lock is opened or not but it was all lock.

                                    I tried several times to end the trip. But it is repeating the same irritating thing.
                                    The cycle is in same pedl stand.

                                    Cycle number is 101422

                                    I tried every other ways suggested to me.
                                    Please don't send the same mail again

                                    Kindly end this trip because it is debiting my paytm wallet.

                                      I have booked car from zoom with Booking ID: JPS6T2OSQ from Credit Card, for which the refund amount has to be received for deposit. i have done complaint so many times to ZoomCar support, they just send the auto generated email. The booking was done on 23 SEP 17, with amount of 8360/- (Deposit 5000/-). This very same issue is repeated from previous booking also.

                                      No Call complaint can be registered, no local office address, and even they do not respond to Emails.
