I have cancelled a flight tkt with MMT. I was on a call for more than 24 mins today, with one Abhishek Mehra, and he was giving all round-round answers. There was no supervisor on the floor, he was busy doing some calculations in the air, he had no clue abt the service escalation channels or contact details.

I am absolutely surprised and furious at the service of MMT! WHat is wrong with theseguys? I am not continuing with MMT, if this is how I am going to be serviced!

I have done a cancellation of this tkt directly thru the airlines, and they were prompt enough to tell me the amt of refund, and the time it will take - which is 2 days at the max.

It's been a month now, since I did this cancellation with the airline. And I have to call up MMT to find out that they have not takne any action of refunding MY money received from the airline. You are sitting on it.

And now when I get the refund intimation, all sorts of money has been deducted in the name of the airline. Absolutely ridiculous! The airline has not deducted a single rupee.

We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Further, in reference to your complaint, we have validated your case at our end and found that the booking was cancelled by passenger directly with airline on 10-Nov-16 but did not contact us for refund so that refund could not be initiated from our end. Also, as checked airline has provided us a refund of Inr 3735/- only so, accordingly we have processed the refund of Inr 2835/- post deducting our service fee. Please be advised that we have processed the refund as per refund received from airline (post deducting their charges) however, as a one-time service gesture we could process more refund of Inr 900/- which we have deducted as a service fee.

    I tried to book a flight ticket from GOA to Chennai through MAKE MY TRIP website. At the process the amount is deducted from my card but haven't received any ticket. I raised the compliant and they have send a mail saying that the amount will credit in my card before[protected]. But till date the amount is not credit in my account. Any one know the consumer protection complaint registration kindly help me.

      Hi,

      My booking id is nf[protected].

      Problem statement: i have booked flight of 1st feb 2017 from delhi to port blair but unfortunately due to ui bug of make my trip flight booking have been made of 3rd of feb. i have booked 4 tickets through mmt (me (rahul bhardwaj) and my fiance (swati sharma))
      Of-cource i am not the fool one who booked the ticket of my fiance for 1st feb and my self for 3rd feb.
      Still i am not able to see my trip details either in your website and also not in the app. too many problematic things at your application end.

      I have done this booking[protected] approx 2:30 pm.

      After that i didn't got any email or sms regarding this booking.
      I tried multiple time to call customer care executive but its always keep busy. some one pick the phone after 2hrs later and told me that due to some technical glitch currently we are facing issue please contact us after 3 hrs later.

      Then after 3 hrs later i make a call to make my trip and spoken with kaushal.
      On a first note he is refused to take the responsibility of make my trip but after my request he is forwarded the request to concern team.
      Follow up id is mention in the subject line.

      Note:after doing more than 1 hrs of testing in night i found the ui bug on make my trip app.
      Attached video is shows how your ui is not loaded completely in meanwhile if some user click on your ui then date selection mismatch happen.

      Again i call with customer care executive and he told me to wait another 24 hrs. i am trying to say that see the video and resolve on priority basis but they told me that this is your mistake and only you are liable for this
      We have no any right to take your video.

      Please help me to resolve this issue
      I want to reschedule to 1st feb 2017. i have raised the complain from y and still its not resolved.
      Also who is responsible to paid the amount of flight amount difference (if occurs).
      Because this is pending from make my trip end and if flight of 1st feb going high who take the responsibility. as its going delay from make my trip end.

      Very pathetic support.

        On 4.12.16, I booked tickets from Del to Gau on their app, gave my bank account details but instead received an error message. I decide to try again, made the booking, paid them but received another error message. I was clueless, but suddenly received alert from my bank that amounts with respect to both my attempts had been debited, also I received a mail from the company with the booking confirmation and ticket details of both the above mentioned bookings.
        Since, this was a technical error, due to which I had been forced to book twice, I thought the company would accept its fault and refund the amount that I had unknowingly spent on the extra ticket.
        Since, the travel was scheduled for the next day, I decided to contact the customer care immediately. Unfortunately, there was no one available on their customer care number and hence I decided to write a mail, which got bounced. The next day, I called up their customer care, where they told me that since their system was down they will get back to me with the solution after sometime. The lady over the phone was completely hell bent on not listening to my problem. I had to literally shout at her to make her understand my issue but she just had one thing to say that since the system was down she wouldn't be able to help me, and will arrange for a call back when the system would start working again.
        unsatisfied with such an unprofessional response I tried to catch their attention on the social media where first they told me that my problem will be resolved but later on told me that no refund would be given to me, since I had received emails with regards to both the bookings.
        My contention is that although I had received both the emails, they came a lot later and I had already been forced to book extra tickets. They are saying that they sent me a confirmation sms, but I received none.
        In fact, as per the rule all my bookings are supposed to show in my mobile app. I have attached below the latest status on the app which shows that there have been no bookings whatsoever.
        I am also attaching my entire exchange with the company on their official customer care twitter account.

          I have booked round trip from riyadh to new delhi starting from 31st jan to 19th feb. I have chosen the suitable option suggested by you for my trip and that was departure from riyadh at 10:55 pm arriving abu dhabi 01:35 am and departure from abu dhabi at 02:55 and arriving delhi at 07:55 am. Now my ticked has been reschedule, but the funniest thing is that is rescheduled from riyadh to abu dhabi only, and i am arriving in abu dhabi after 4 hours of the departure of connecting flight. First i want to tell you that this kind of act is a harassment as in reply email i am getting "as per response to your e-mail, we would like to inform you that in the earlier itinerary, the details were as follows:

              I booked airline tickets through Make My Trip and within an hour realized the dates I put were wrong for return trip. I immediately called Makemytrip customer service number and told them about the same.

              The agent told me that I would need to pay 150 rupees per ticket for changing date to one day prior. In Addition to 150, there would be a charge of 800 rupees. I said ok that is fine and upon which they said call us back in an hour

              When I called them back, nobody knew what happened . There was no note on my account and now since it is about 12 hours since I booked they are asking for 300o rupees airline rebooking fee.

              I am very disappointed with their customer service. And not to forget I was on HOLD for 45 minutes before I can talk any LIVE persoj

              How to stay away from ecash fraud? Book from Akbartravels, cleartrip, etc. yatra and makemytrip are complete cheat. They have high cancellation charges and there domestic and international flight phone numbers are never available. And their convenience fee?

              i have even found their charges higher compared to airline websites in many cases. So beware search on other sites, many are available google it, before booking from yatra and makemytrip

                On 22nd Nov. I have tried to book the online Tickets for 3 of my family members for next day evening. At the time of booking website has given some issue and payment has been deducted from my account. Though the payment was deducted i have not received the ticket confirmation even after 1 hr. So i have requested for refund. Post cancellation i have received 3 mails :
                1st : In case the booking status changes to a failed booking, we will automatically refund an amount of Rs. 883.17 on account of this failed booking. The same will reflect in your bank account/credit card/debit card/cash card within the next 14 working days.
                2nd : This is to confirm that we have generated refund request for unsuccessful MakeMyTrip Booking ID NR[protected]. Refund would be processed in up to 3 working days.
                3rd : Kindly note refund amount of INR 333.17 for MakeMyTrip Booking ID NR[protected] has been processed. Amount in your account will reflect in up to 3 working days in case your issuer bank is private or SBI, else may take up to 12 working days in case of other nationalized banks or until your next billing cycle.

                After this received 3 SMS :
                1st : Your refund Rs. 883.17 will be refunded to you within 7 days.
                2nd : Rs. 550 will be refunded to you within 3 working days.
                3rd : Rs. 333.17 will be refunded to you within 7 days.

                Are you guys confused with your refund policy or making the people fool.

                Also there is issue with complaint tracking page, post entering the id and contact no, automatically tab is getting closed.

                Will not recommend any one for this and will ensure that same will be posted on all social sites.

Also, found that multiple e-mails were sent from our end with different days mentioned for refund. We will get this checked internally by the team for the reason of different e-mails. Regarding your refund if in case your refund still not reflecting in your account, request you to please check with your bank and provide ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) no. #74332746328632774345570 to Centralized Helpdesk or charge back team of your Bank ( Branch will not be able to track it) .                   Dear Team,

                  I have booked one Flight ticket from Mumbai to Delhi to 27th Oct . due to any reason transaction was failed i have booked another ticket with new payment. after that i have received transactions fail amount in my wallet on 29th oct. on 9th of Nov i have request for withdraw fund from my wallet to bank account but till date no refund credited into my account. i have called to cc but every time they have told us for next 3 to 5 working days. i need my money today itself.

                    I have booked ticket, due to some personal reasons i cancelled that booking on 04th October 2016,
                    When I called first time to make my trip on 31.10.2016 then they said we have processed three amount 6889, 2111 and 16413. The Total refund amount is 25413 but I got only 6889 on 04.10.2016. Still I have not received remaining two amount 16413 and 2111. again I called after two days then they said give your bank statement then I sent the bank statement for last two month then they said we are checking and will take time 4 days but its too over. Still I have not received my two remaining amount 16413 and 2111. please process my money asap in my account.

                    Further, in reference to your complaint on a social forum, we have validated your case with our concerned department and found that complete refund of Inr 25413/- has been processed from our end against the cancellation of your international flight booking. The refund has been processed in three different transactions as different payment mode opted by passenger at the time of booking. Please find the details below:

                    1 - Inr 6889/- refund processed on 4-Oct-16 against the credit card.
                    2 - Inr 2111/- refund processed on 4-Oct-16 against the payback account.
                    3 - Inr 16413/- refund processed on 5-Oct-16 against the credit card.

                    As on the 3rd transaction the payment was made with EMI option. Please be advised that in case of refund of EMI transaction, bank does not credit the amount in customer’s account however, they adjust the refund amount against the balance EMI which customer has to pay to bank. So, request you to please check with your bank regarding the same.

                      The service not provided as per agreed itinerary / package by Make My Trip for my family tour to Mahabaleshwar-Lonavala-Khandala on this Nov-16.
                      Few observations are shared hereunder:

                      1. Sharing the information well in advance:-
                      We didn't received any call from MMT till 31st evening regarding the cab driver details. I personally called the MMT for cab driver details. Around 11:00 pm, I received a sms mentioning the driver details. I called the driver and confirm with him for our arrival details at Bandra railway station for tomorrow's journey with 3 families.

                      2. Behavior of Cab Driver:-
                      Since I have very bad experience of Cab driver during my last tour to sikkim booked from Yatra.com, as an advance step, during booking itself, I clearly told MMT representative (Ms. Priya) to provide a good person who would feel like family member. But MMT didn't fulfill my requirement. MMT provided a rude driver (Ashok) without any information or itinerary about our travel plan. Whenever we told him that this point is in our itinerary, he refused that point and communicate with us in nasty language. We complained to MMT about his behavior but MMT has taken it lightly and no action initiated (what I feel). When cab driver used un-eathical language to MMT representative then MMT took action against him on 4th Nov-16, which was our day before last day of journey. It seems that after complaining about driver, MMT is not listening to their customer.
                      I remembered that during booking, MMT was speaking very politely and after full payment customers have no value for MMT.

                      3. Sharing information well in advance to Hotel:-
                      As per our itinerary, we reached to Hotel Mount Castle Resort by 11:00 am on 1st Nov-16. But surprisingly, there were no room booked in the name o[censored]s. We called to MMT for solution. Then after intervention of MMT, hotel provided us rooms (they told that we have no rooms available in 'Standard Non-AC' category, but as a special case we are providing Super deluxe AC room) which were in bad conditions. No Hot water facility available in the Bath room. Every time, we had to make call four to five times for hot water in bath-room.

                      4. Many sight seen points missed out:-
                      Due to Driver's attitude, many sight seen points were missed out. Upon asking to driver about the missed points, he replied in rude language and told that, "whoever prepared this itinerary, is fool", "There is nothing to see at that point", "Forget about that point", "I will not come". We missed the best place, "The Pratap Garh Fort- Mahabaleshwar", "Lohgarh at Lonavala" and many other places due to this. MMT need to look in to this.

                      5. Asking Parking charges:-
                      All kind of Parking charges are in the scope of MMT. But many times, driver asked us to pay the parking charges.
                      Which shows the in-adequate information shared to Driver b MMT. Now you would say that I should not give the charges and should call to MMT customer care. Same thing I tried many times but every time, I got reply from MMT that your issue will be resolve shortly and you will get call from our support team. Out of two times (in night hours), I didn't get call from MMT. Please let me know whenever you are on tour with your family and friends, do you have such time to send an email/make a call to your queries (where connectivity is also one of the constraints)???

                      6. Driver was in hurry:-
                      Cab driver was in hurry at many points like Venna Lake, Arthur Seat, Imagica, etc.
                      The standard timing of Imagica is 10 am to 8 pm, but driver told that we should come out from Imagica by 5 pm.

                      7. Driver have some criminal offence:
                      During driving, driver was on cell phone continuously and with reference to the conversation, it seems that he or his spouse did something wrong and police is behind him or his spouse. This is one of the major Safety Hazard when driver is on Cell phone while Driving.

                      In short of the story is, MMT should lined up such travel agency/driver whose attitude is good and friendly with the family. Also MMT should provide A to Z information to the travel agency/driver about the tour along with inclusion and exclusions.

                        I have booked ticket from Pune to Shirdi for 2 passengers on completion of my booking i got confirmation mail with ticket which shows passengers =2 and detail of passenger as 1 i.e. Name and seat of passenger.

                        When i called customer care they replied me that as i have 1 female and 1 male passenger so bus company has taken only female information and booked for her ... Also, they accepted that this issue is from there end (makemy trip) but when i asked them to cancel the same thy said they will deduct 10% and refund rest of the amount.
                        Why shall i as customer should bear loss when the fault is at there end??????

                        I need full money back... i have the recorded call as well as ticket which shows information provided above is correct.

                          I have booked a room in fab hotel for 13 sunday for 1 night, due to some personal reasons i cancelled that booking and the next day i got a mail from make my trip that my cancellation has been processed and will get the refund in 7 workig days.The refund process started on 9 november 2016 and till this day i didnt get any further information..please do the refund fast.

                            This is regarding a air india booking made for january 2017 in the month of august 2016 for my family, where 2 passengers have middle name and there was no such option for providing middle name while booking and now when i just countercharged with airindia they are denying as they need first name, middle name & last name all information on the ticket while booking.
                            Now, makemytrip is not accepting their fault and replying to cancel and rebook ticket at my own. Pnr is z51kl for journey date 19 january 2017. They still have lot of time but they are not providing support.

                              1. After taking first installment, the company stopped responding and mentally harassed us for getting the tickets
                              2. The company misinformed the pickup location at Phuket, leaving us stranded and at the mercy of strangers in a foreign country for more than an hour
                              3. Company informed that national park fees are paid off but we were asked to pay the same on the spot resulting in severe mental harassment as we did not have foreign currency in such huge amounts

                                I booked my ticket from doha to chennai thru mmt on etihad. Dueto emergency, i flew down before the prescribed date. When i was about to return back on the same date, they denied me the boarding saying they have automatically cancelled my ticket. I request for a 50% refurnd of the ticket, but they give my 3k out of 20k. Neither do they respond to any calls/mails.

                                  I have booked srilanka tour from 07.11.16 to 12.11.16 two people. The tour cost include inland transport from airport for all the six days but no transport arrangement was made and i made my own transport.                                     I had booked a flight ticket through Make My trip application, but due to the seats being filled, the booking did not happen and also, the same amount was moved to My Wallet.

                                    The first booking ID is IN1611R8S2362100 and I paid INR 168138 for this ticket from my HDFC Bank card ending with 1904. The transaction was failed and tickets were not booked. The amount was transferred into my Make my Trip wallet by default instead of my HDFC Bank account. I dont know why the money was transferred to Make my trip wallet??
                                    Since it was deducted from my HDFC Bank card, it should have been deposited back to my HDFC Bank!!

                                    The amount of Rs10472 is lying in wallet without any use to me for last 11 days. every time an executive reaches me, they tell me that they will give another update in next 24 hours. But I do not see any valid information being provided to me.

                                    Anyway, since I was really trying to book my tickets from your portal, I tried once again to book my flight tickets again with the money being reflected into my Make my trip wallet. The reference id is NN[protected]. But to my dismay the transaction failed again with the money gone from my make my trip wallet as well. After a followup from the customer care money came back into wallet and I tried once again (third time) to book flight tickets after assurance from make my trip customer care representative that the transaction failure may be temporary. The third transaction reference no. Is NN[protected]. But the make my trip disappointed me again with the transaction failing once again!!

                                    In this process of booking tickets from your website I have wasted my precious 24 hours with scores of calls and followups to the Make my trip customer care executives. the end result is same that still I am in lurch and my precious money of INR 168138 is untraceable. None of your customer care executives has been able to tell me the status of my money and when will the money be refunded back to my HDFC bank card!!

                                    I am really disappointed and terrified from this experience with makemytrip which has made a simple 5 minute task of flight booking into a time wasting horrible experience .

                                    If you really care about the customer and are serious about their issues resolution than pl. Let me know the refund status of my deducted amount INR 168138 and when will it be refunded back to my Hdfc bank card account.

                                    I have requested for a refund to my bank account, but the team is not ready to do so and the reason they give is some technical issue. In case of any further details you can contact me at the undersigned mobile nos.

                                      I used citibank card to book flight at mmt website, there was offer running at 5july-2016 for rs 1200 cash back so i booked flight . But till now i did not receive the cash back.
                                      My booking id is : nf[protected] .
                                      I asked customer care regarding this issue but they are saying that they have transferred cash back at 2nd sept-2016, but i did not receive it.
                                      When i asked for reference number or any id related to 1200 cash back, so i can check with my bank, then they are saying we do not have any number.
                                      They are just saying that have transferred 1200 cash and not giving any proof or any reference number.

                                      They have closed my complain without resolving it. Please help me on this.

                                        I would like to bring to the notice the shady practice of www.makemytrip.com's Wallet services.

                                        The website link for transferring money back to your bank account from makemytrip's wallet has not been working since the last four weeks. Additionally, when reached out to the customer care on the phone, they responded saying that it cannot be done over the phone.

                                        How can the customer get HIS money back? Email and phone support went unanswered, the customer care executive (someone by the name of Girish misbehaved on the call and was not ready to help at all, or transfer the call to his supervisor/manager).

                                        The last discourse for me is now to approach legal counsel.
