I had booked 3 flight tickets via make mytrip on 29th August. The discount offered by booking thro Kotak netbank as listed on their website was 15% - however for the total amount of 8400 Rs, i received only 400 Rs. On enquiring with them - i recieved absolutely no response from their service desk or management !!! Since 26th September, I have been trying to contact the company and completed escalating my complaint from Stage 1 to their service desk that is provided on their website to Stage 4 to the management. The final reference id for my complaint is :[protected]. Today being 11th October - No one has given either a call nor an email - to provide any clarification from this company. After one month and for a business that deals in internet bookings - i call this fraudulent and deficiency of services. I am a silver member but i dont think i will book again from makemytrip - and would rather prefer to use direct bookings from the flight or hotel All be aware - So much for their service and business orientation !

    HI Makemytrip, I was your permanent customer booking tickets for me and my family and friends from our site on a regular basis. But the real face of you i have seen when i cancelled my tickets to and fro from SIngapore-Delhi. The ticket was worth of 587 sgd. The total refund amount was told to be 494 sgd after cancellation charges of 97 sgd. But the amount returned to me was 452 sgd only and that too after lot of troubles. The remaining 42 sgd was told by customer team memberes initialy it was showing in system and later they told no such amount exists. After repeated calls to your customer care the same answer " give us 10 days to look into the matter, we raised the concern with accounts department". No reply from ur team then.MY booking id is -- SN[protected]ticket was booked for indigo airlines. Indigo airlines pnr number -- K93D5D. Indigo is saying they returned all the money on 24th september, 2104 itself.??Did you people have even 1% ethics left in business. You are just robbing innocent customers. I will highly recommend people not to book any ticket from this agency. They r bunch of theifs and liars. Thanks, Sudhanshu

      Dear Sirs This is to bring to your notice, the agony and pain I was put into by Makemytrip and also by Spicejet. I was not informed of the cancellation of my connecting flight from Mumbai to Surat till the time I reported for check-in at RGIA Hyderabad. Is itnot the responsibility of Makemytrip or of the Spicejet to keep me informed of the same well in advance? The response of both Spicejet and YOUR SO CALLED SUPPORT OFFICE at Hyderabad Airport was atrocious. Neither of them could give me the correct position of the fate of the flight for OVER AN HOUR. I was made to stand at the counters all along. This is totally an irrational and ill mannered attitude on the part of Yours and Spicejet's staff. This irresponsibility on your part had costed me dearly both in terms of precious time and money. I was given a very GENEROUS OFFER BY THE AIRLINES that I can either go in for the cancellation of my entire journey ticket or accept a partial refund or travel on a different date AVAILABLE WITH THEM. Is this the way we the passengers, who intend to travel by air, expect to be treated. If I have that much of time at my disposal why should I travel by Air? The irresponsible behaviour on the part of both makemytrip and spicejet in not informing the cancellation of connecting flight put me into an embarassing situation and constrained me shell out over Rs., 7600/- for no fault on my part. I demand an immediate credit of my partial refund and the expenditure I had to incur, besides YOUR EXPLANATION AS TO HOW AND WHY YOU HAVE NOT KEPT ME INFORMED OF THE CANCELLATION OF THE FLIGHT WHEN YOU COULD CONTACT ME INSTANTLY SO MANY TIMES AT THE TIME WHEN I WAS BOOKING THE TICKETS. I expect an early action in this connection lest I would be constrained to escalate the issue. Thanks UDAY

        I had booked Air ticket from MakeMyTrip.com via Makemytrip App from Android phone. As per the Offer I was supposed to get a CashBack of Rs 500 (Coupon Code : MMTAPP500). But I didn't received any CashBack, Neither they are able to justify that why I am not eligible for cashback. After that I have called them requesting to refund the cashback via COMPLAINT NO : 140914#020749, 140926#054763, 141005#032105 and three more times, and mail two times. I had been told that complaint would get resolved in 4 days every time, Which didn't happened till now. I have been calling them again and again in a time spam of week and every time I use to get same response "We have raised the complaint to concern department and they are working on it". Even they don't reply by simple message or call back or via email. I had been assured of callback with justification that Why am not eligible for cashback. But I didn't receive any response/callback. I called them back several times but their response was quite ignorant. NEITHER THEY ARE REFUNDING THE MONEY, NOR THEY ARE ABLE TO GIVE REASON FOR NOT GIVING CASHBACK AS PER OFFER. Now, Its been more than 2 months and I haven't received any cash back from makemytrip. THEY USE TO PUBLISH PROMOTIONAL OFFERS FOOLING PUBLIC, TO BOOK TICKET AND AVAIL SOME OFFER.           MakeMyTrip Booking ID - NN[protected] Booking Date - Thu, 11 Sep 2014 we had booked the ticket for Madras to Manchester on above date. the initial onward was on 8th Oct and with return on 23rd Oct. On the 6th we called makemytrip to make some changes to the booking. The agent upon discussing with us mentioned that she has made the ticket as open for 12 months and that we have to pay some charges towards it and asked us to confirm 24 hours prior to departure and emailed the same confirmation to us. When we called on the 8th to confirm the tickets, we are being (a) asked to pay no show penalties and (b) being told that the booking for return has been cancelled, since we did not travel on the 8th. When we enquired how that is possible since we have an email confirmation, there is no response. We have been promised call back 4 or 5 times so far and no one has called. There is no esclation contact as well.

            Pathetic support service by Make my Trip. I have booked an Airline ticket in the past and cancelled my booking and waiting for my refund for months. I was out of county for a while ;I reached the support 3 weeks back and they promised a call back Ref Number :[protected] and no response yet.I called couple of time and always the supervisor are busy and they promise a call back but no one turned up. I also got an email a week back stating the issue will be resolved in a day and no response yet.I don't understand how these people are in business.I would like to make a strong not on this pathetic response. Make My Trip Team - If would like to give you an opportunity to prove that I am wrong.Do you guys have dare to prove that. You guys are not fit for business;You people owe my time more than my money.You guys are slackers.Make My TRIP SUCKS.               Dear Concern, I wanted to book a flight from Kolkata to Bangalore for 31st October 2014 under a special offer for cheap however while booking the rate which featured was 3, 647 INR. This fares was available on the top screen where rates for multiple dates are shown. I selected 31st Oct-2014, re checked the same, before making the payment I got a ticket for 23rd Oct-2014. The rates where constantly fluctuating the same flight rates were as high as 20K after 3 mins. I called up the customer care immediately to inform the same however I was told that the booking logs will only be generated after 24 hrs and I have to call back to find out and the customer service call me as hat this the standard of Make my Trip. After 08 days I received an email from them with booking logs saying that they cant change my ticket as the midtake was mine and if I want to change the ticket the charges will be applicable. I was checking for alternate flight the same incident occurred again and this time I was able to take a screen shot for the same where the ticket was featuring wrong fares. I have send them the same screenshot asking for clarification. However they didnt revert me yet in spite of my numerous reminders. They are very good in proving a customer wrong with evidences and when the customer wants clarification of their errors they don't reply. Please note my complaint reference number NF[protected].               An error in booking date happened with me on ID NF[protected]. I booked a return on 28th Dec night, but got ticketed for 28th Jan, morning. I even paid for a travel date change and that didn't reflect either. Now, the 'Manage Bookings' sections is not opening up on my account

                As i am seeing there are already so many complaints, so i guess its absolutely useless writting another complaint, still if it helps someone I am just updating behaviour of make my trip I had booked a flight for 30th september 2014 booking ref NF[protected] [Incident:[protected]], due to change in travel plans i cancelled the trip on 25th September 2014, I was assured payment within 2 days but nothing has come, also after cancellation charges i was to receive 1493, but I got a mail that " we have initiated the process for refund of payment of 696/-" A. I dont understand what is initiating a process now days payments are transferred online within 10 mins, b. how did 1493 become 696 c. Even 696 has not come, Learnt a lesson that we should always book directly on the concerned flight portals and not through these middle agencies,

                  I had cancelled my tickets from Chandigarh to Srinagar (Indigo Airlines) on makemytip site on September 16, 2014. I was promised a refund within 7 working days (attaching the mail for reference). However, despite repeated calls and emails to makemytrip, I have not got my refund till now. Every time I call up the call center, they make up new excuses. My emails to MakeMyTrip are going unanswered. Request you to please look into the matter urgently and get my refund at the earliest.                     Hi, I have booked a ticket for my brother from MakeMyTrip to travel from Chennai to London. They have not supplied me with the E-Ticket yet. Today is 1st Oct 2014 12:00 PM, flight is on 2nd Oct 2014 08:00 AM, but not yet received the E-Ticket. I am completely stressed and restless about this, since I have to join my college on 3rd Oct, so I dont have any other option, other than to travel in this flight.

                      I had made request for refund of money for cancelled spicejet flight (Service request no :[protected] on August 2014). When I made request customer care verified with airline and told me the process would take 5 days. After 15 days I again regarding my request, I was told receive a call in 3 days. It is been a month I have not received a call or refund. Again after 5 days I called make my trip customer (attended by [protected]@makemytrip) I was assured again the same on refund. They been cheating with non honest response and management escalation is practical playin with customer. No one respond.

                        Please go through the cancellation policy below(In Bold).It clearly states the there is full refund if I cancel the booking before 07:00 GMT on 25th Sept'14 which is 12.30 pm IST.When I tried to cancel the booking now(10.40 am) I was informed that there will be 1 Nights' retention charge.Can you please explain me the reason for the same? Cancellation PolicyIf cancelled before 25th Sep. 2014 (GMT + 07:00), you will receive a full refund. If cancelled on or after 25th Sep. 2014 (GMT + 07:00), you will be charged a one night cancellation penalty fee.;If the booking is cancelled on the day of check-in or if the customer is No Show, total price for the reservation shall be forfeited...

                          I got a call from Make My Trip Executive, Ms. Virali Shah. Quote"s discussed on call with you regarding your hotel reservation " Hotel Ambavgarh Retreat - " with booking Id : " NH[protected]". As the Booking is not confirmed in the same hotel, we can provide you Alternate Property on behalf on this Property – Amantra Shilpi Resort - Comfort With Breakfast Horizon Hotel - Elegant With Breakfast You don’t have to pay anything extra, whatever the difference will be that MakeMyTrip will pay ." When i checked the same on the Make My Trip Website, I am getting the room booked for Rs. 16, 000.00 Almost Rs. 5, 000.00 less from what my earlier room has been provided. From that date onwards till now i am chasing your people via e-mail and telephonically. Till date i have not got any reply. For the last 5 years, i am a regular user of MakeMyTrip. I have taken tours to nepal, booked flights and holidays and hotels on regular basis. I am not getting any response from your executive and only i am getting is automatic reply.

                            Dear Concern, I am Ved Prakash Jaiswal have booked ticket from Make My Trip with Malindo Airlines on 23rd Sept 2014.Travelling date is 19th Dec from Delhi to Kualalumpur with returning on 27th Dec with few internal flights with Malindo Airlines only. Issue is that, while booking the ticket by mistake i mentioned my name as first name and last name which is (VED JAISWAL) on all 4 bookings worth Rs. 65000 Approx., and on passport it is VED PRAKASH JAISWAL, and on one ticket of my wife subtitle got changed by Mrs to MR Swati later on when I realized i confirmed with Make My Trip and Malindo airlines and request to modify for small error to add middle name and change the subtitle of my wife. Malindo airlines is saying that they don't have the policy of modifying the name. There can be problem in Immigration while in or out. You have to book all the way new bookings as these booking will be cancelled with charges (Approx 12000). We can't do anything.You can travel on your risk as if Immigration department won't allow you, you can't travel. You have to buy new tickets at the counter if want to travel. -As i followed up with them since 5 days just next day of booking. I am ready to spend a reasonable charges for modification as other airlines company charge for that, approx Rs. 400 for changes even many airlines does it free for passenger. But they are not listening me at all. Make My Trip is saying that once booking is done they can't do anything. Only malindo airlines has right to do that. You will be loosing your money as its non refundable ticket and have to make new booking. As i followed with them too since 5 days. Said that i accept my mistake but when i booked the ticket i entered passport detail, then you should cross verify and then make the booking with the airlines as it is automated system. Or you can cross verify afterwords when i am requesting for modification. There is one more issue, few tickets which i have filled correctly with the name (Swati), which has been wrongly updated on their system, and it is showing (Mrs Swati Mrs) for that also they are not ready to listen. Took followup more than 4 days. My question is to both parties if international bookings poses the high risk then instead of selling online it should be sell offline only with the high checks. Confirmation should not be done without cross verification with passport details which we provide at the time of booking. Because human error can be done by anybody that doesn't mean that he will be loosing all his money. As they are keeping me in dilemma problem can occur at the time of immigration then what will be the solution. it should be mutual understating of airlines and make my trip that they replace it with new ticket with the correct name, without any charges. Malindo and Make My Trip both has accepted, this is the frequent problem is occurring from the user then definitely according to me it should not offer to user to fill the information. When i am accepting and giving proper information to make it correct then it should get correct to avoid the hassle in future. And Malindo has the policy not to modify the name they should have the policy to give solution to passenger too. As it is a genuine request kindly do the needful. Recently I have booked ticket from Hyderabad to Doha for 30th of August and since i couldn't travel i tried making call to make my trip about 2 hours and was held on line for long time several times.How ever after several calls i've been notified to deal directly with the airlines.I have contacted airlines and cancelled tickets from my end and notified makemytrip, i was told that i will be fully reimbursed except make mytrip charges (which is INR 500) with in 7 working days and it was showed in website as 5th of Sep.I paid my credit card bill which is more than 50k INR for this ticket (I suppose its a high amount for any medium class person) + I also brought my business class ticket from makemytrip and traveled to Doha, Qatar. since then i called many times and i was held in international calls several hours by now with out proper information.All the time i was simply told system showing update today and i will be reimbursed in 7days which never came up.Last week i was notified some changes in reimbursement and i tried to contact but never got proper response or call back from you which made me more worried with your worst customer service. I demand an proper explanation for whatever happened as a customer. I am seriously upset and have decided never to use make my trip nor recommend to friends and family with what happened and seek proper justice in my case.                               MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                              I had book 2 flight tickets on SpiceJet (SG-275) via MakemyTrip from Madurai to Chennai on December 28, 2014. I had called for a refund and upon calling SpiceJet they informed that they had initiated the refund through Makemytrip.                                 Sir, I have booked rail tickets on 28 July and their booking Ids are NR[protected] NR[protected] NR[protected] NR[protected] Three Ids are the failed transaction and one is the cancelled booking.. Its almost 2 months completed but yet i have not been provided with the refund..The total amount to be refunded is Rs 5994.36 I have contacted you about 10-12 times but not all satisfied with your response..and so im writing here..hoping for the quick response to my issue.. I also mailed you my complete bank statement from the date of booking to till date so that you t can verify that no amount have been creditted...But you just neglected that... now hoping that you will solve this issue writing here... Please solve this issue as soon as possible..

                                  Dear MakeMyTrip, I am appalled at the service levels I've recently experienced with MMT and shall see to it that this case, which I term as a fraud, gets to the public! You shall definitely see this on all social apps that I have an access to and also discourage all who would want to consider MMT for any future bookings! I represent the Sales vertical of a Travel Agency, and shall definitely quote the below examples to the corporate clients that I visit. This is with reference to the below situation which has been unjustifiably handled by MMT. I had booked 2 tickets, which were cancelled on 11th July 2014. I initiated on the refund follow up after a month, as the same was not credited to my account. MMT asked me to mail me the bank statement to prove my case!! I obliged and mailed MMT my bank statement on 16th September 2014. Since then I have not received a single communication from MMT with regards to the refund after the auto-reply (stating MMT will revert to me within 24 hrs) on my below mail. This makes me apprehensive about MMT values: Excellence, Integrity, Accountability, Customer Centric approach and Respect for People! Today, 8 days after receiving the auto-reply from MMT, when I call to check on the refund status, the agent, Rohit, I speak to, tries to offer some solace and tame my anger saying "it is only a matter of time". This statement aggravates me even more, as MMT does not even understand what "matter of time" implies to! To process a refund of 12K definitely requires less than 3 months. I have now been advised that someone from MMT will reach out to me within 4 days, so I shall wait for the same and give MMT another chance to stand up to their commitments! My tryst with MMT does not end here! Another incidence of a refund (Ref No: IN1409R3S053858), has an interesting twist! The Cancellation Summary shows a refund of INR -438. I missed on the negative sign just before the refund amount. In fact, when I cancelled the ticket, I was least expecting for a refund, as I had booked these tickets when the promotional fares were introduced. Hence, was only enquiring about the status. To my surprise, the agent was also taken aback to see the negative sign, and offered to work on the refund again. I obliged and paid keen attention to his calculations. The outcome was hilarious! He explained to me that MMT owes me a refund of INR 212 towards the cancellation. The agent has now committed to process the refund for the unclaimed INR 212, only because I took the initiative to enquire about the refund status. Had I not bothered to call for the same, the amount, however minuscule would have been robbed off me. I wonder how MMT can mislead and cheat their customers! This only exhibits how MMT is fraudulently extracting money from us. This now makes me question MMT's calculations towards my earlier refund as well! Also, the agent was so troubled on handling two such queries on a single call, that he opted to disconnect the line instead of further explaining the situation and taking accountability for the unethical approach of MMT. I am confident that there are many such grievances that do not come to light, and that MMT will not be courteous enough to show any empathy towards people asking for their own money.                                   I have paid 41035 RS and no one bother to help me. Your service is very poor. Customer care Representative are not able to understands the situation. They directly disconnects the calls.

                                    Hello, I have cancelled my tickets on 27th August, 2014. I was supposed to receive 48964 INR for two tickets after the cancellation fees on 3rd September, 2014.But I haven't get a penny from make my trip. I am calling and mailing frequently but the response would be "Please wait for 24 - 48 hrs" And also it is costing me more as I am making an international call to make my trip as I moved out of India. And again 4 days back they send a mail that they can give 26, 996INR as airline has send them so. First thing is time delay in refund. Second thing is why there is the change in the amount while refund. On the first place why we would we cancel our tickets if the cancellation fee is so high as I booked tickets for 60524 INR. I have cancelled tickets and booked the next day. If they have mentioned the cancellation fee is so high we would have travelled the same day rather than the next day. Make my trip customer care executives as mentioned us that the refund was 48964 INR, hence we cancelled the tickets and now they are changing the things. If I say so to make my trip guys they again ask me to wait for 24-48hrs. I just need my refund money immediately. Please help me in this regard.

                                    I booked a ticket from Delhi to Lucknow on 15 July. Make my trip booking id is NF[protected]. Then I got a mail form MMT on 1 Sept that airline cancelled the flight.
                                    I called MMT they said please cancel the ticket and will return full amount. I canceled the ticket on 2 Sept 2014.
                                    MMT mentioned the amount refund date 11 Sept, but they did not refund.
                                    After that I called their customer support 4 times, Always they said will return today.
                                    Now around 24 days passed and no refund.

MMT is not replying to my mails nor the service request. When i call on their customer Care, they d not bother to pick up the call. Please take a hard action on this site as it is fooling their customers.

Everytime I have to wait for 10 min to reach the refund section. But I get the same reply. I contacted your facebook page, but even they gave me that same reply and asked me to wait for another 2 days. Everytime they said the issue has been escalated. I really dont understand that how many times they need to escalate the issue. Is it soo difficult to refund the amount which you already have received from the airline. my booking id is NF[protected]. Kindly please help me in getting the refund.

                                        Dear Sir/madam, On 14th of September I booked one ticket of Indian Airlines from Kolkata to Chennai journey dated 12th October by Rs.10, 454. But I have not received any confirmation from makemytrip site, although my account got debited of Rs.10454.From 15th September I am calling makemytrip customer care number i.e [protected] almost thrice per day, same answer they were telling that time that you will get your money refund withing 3 working days. After completing 3 working days on 18th September again I called them, but this time they were saying something different. They were telling my case they have escalate to their high authorities and it will be done withing next 3 working days definitely, and also they have given one booking number- IN1409B3S120695. Completing this 3 working days also means 22ns September I have not received any amount from them and when I called in the morning of 22nd September one of their customer care assistant told me i don't have to take any tension as because today it is my 3 rd working days so I will get my refund today itself. But waiting up to evening I got nothing, so again I called them, now they are telling again it will take 2 more working days time. That means my they are asking me to wait up to 24th September, where my transaction took place on 12th September. I am simply clueless by this kind service of makemytrip. First of all its very difficult to get the line to talk with them, if by chance I got the chance to talk with them they themselves are not confident, some new day they are telling some new stories. This is kind request to you please look into this matter at urgent basis as already 8 days interest(14th sep to 22nd sep) I loose for this mishap, and main thing not getting my money back after so many repeated calls and mails, where not for a single time I receive any call from them.                                         Can anyone tell me do will I get my money back, or simply makemytrip has taken my money???? Because today is 13th day but till date no solution nothing. Probably this is the worst service ever I go through in my life.
