I have a very serious complaint The timing has been changed by airline and had requested for a revised eticket on 1st nov 2014 to Daljit singh they told they will call back.but didn't we did a follow up twice with Puneet and somebody on Tuesday 3rd nov 2014 and they again told me we will send us the revised eticket within next 6 hours but didn't reverted. And this is were I was shocked to hear on Wednesday by Ms. Pooja Kondal ref no.[protected]. that my return ticket from chicago to charlotte on 25th dec 2014 is unoperating (in their terms) and it is again going to take some 24 hours for them to speak to the airline and get me the connecting flight. As told my Ms. Pooja Kondal This is an error of the agent - MMT part while booking . On Tuesday I wanted to speak to the Supervisor to lodge my complaint but nobody reverted in the next 4 working hrs and again on wednesday 5th november i am waiting for the supervisor's call which is today. I neeed the e-ticket to be issued with the revised timings and my connecting flight on 25th dec from chicago to charlotte immediately on pratibha.[protected]@gmail.com urgently In case i dont receive the same on priority and if it impacts my travel/ journey i will be forced to take stern legal action against Make My Trip.     I have a serious complaint to make. With reference to the above mentioned booking ID i had booked a return ticket from Dubai to Mumbai for 8th Nov 2014. However, on 30th October 2014 i had called up your customer service number and spoke to Aman Preet Singh and changed my travel date from 8th Nov 2014 to 11th Nov 2014 for Indigo Flight scheduled departure from Dubai at 8.25 PM. I was told that i should be receiving the e-ticket within 6 hours but the same never arriived. I also spoke to Jhalak on the next day 31st Oct 2014 asking her to forward the same urgently. She commited that the same should be reaching me in an hours time. I am currently in Dubai and today we are on 3rd Nov 2014 and i have still not received my ticket. I need the e-ticket to be emailed to my email address : pankaj.[protected]@gmail.com urgently. In case i dont receive the same on priority and if it impacts my travel/ journey from Dubai to Mumbai i will be forced to take stern legal action against Make My Trip.     I have a very serious complaint Same as Mr. pankaj.

      My name is Anshi Saksena, student of Banasthali University. I had booked two bus tickets from Jaipur to Lucknow from UPSRTC for 2nd November, 5 p.m. PNR number: XJPR[protected] SEAT number: 44 and 45. On the day of boarding, I reached the required Alambagh bus station one hour before the departure time, also boarded the correct bus and the allotted seat, i.e, seat number 44 and 45. But surprisingly two more passengers arrived claiming their ownership over the same seat. I approached the conductor, as it was the matter of concern as we were two girls by ourself of barely 20 years. The conductor checked the chart which showed the allotment of those seats to the other passengers. With our name not mentioned with the seat allotted by you, we were forcefully asked to leave the bus. All officials turned a deaf ear to our complain in spite of showing them the sms of the ticket you forwarded. To my amazement, I had to miss my bus and no one came to my aid. This wasn't expected out of such a honcho as makemytrip. Further, i would like to inform you that it was very urgent to reach my college, for the submission of my semester form for which I now require to pay 3000 as fine. I ask you to refund my ticket with the fare of the new bus ticket and also my college fine to incur my losses. I humbly request you to consider my complain seriously and sincerely else I would not hesitate to lodge a Consumer forum case of cheat on your company to claim back my money with compensation. It was a matter of humiliation in front of other passengers, as they viewed me and my fellow passenger as the one without tickets. Therefore, I pass you my details. Passenger 1: Anshi Saksena. Passenger 2: Gauri Agarwal. PNR( of the ticket that did not get accepted) XJPR[protected] seats: 44 and 45 fare: 2858..         I had booked a flight from Chennai to Andaman for travelling on march 2013 through Kingfisher airlines, unfortunately the flights were cancelled but the amount Rs 20, 000 is not yet credited into my account. there is no proper response from the customer care. My Trip id is NF[protected] Please let me know the next steps i should take regarding this.

Please note that we have not received any refund from kingfisher Airline against your tickets, however at this point in time we can offer you a flight vouchers with equivalent value of the amount which you had paid towards your tickets and you can redeem them with Makemytrip. Please also note that original cost of the tickets which you have paid is INR 20916.00 and we will issue voucher for that amount.

        We are seeking your approval to issuing the vouchers against the refund of Kingfisher Airlines. Though we have not received the money from Kingfisher but, being a Customer Oriented Company we value your business with us & always try to help you in all possible ways. Henceforth, we are issuing the vouchers (NF[protected] INR 21916.00 ) to our valued customers so that they can avail them for their future trips with us.

        Further, I am writing you to provide more clarification on the T&Cs to redeeming the vouchers as mentioned below :

        • These vouchers shall be valid till one year from the date of issuance.
        • These vouchers can be redeemed against any booking with MakeMyTrip (MMT) except Rail, Car & Bus. International hotels cannot be booked with the voucher.
        • Please note that the said vouchers shall be valid on online bookings only. For domestic/International packages you need to book it offline with MakeMyTrip
        • Please note they cannot be clubbed with any other voucher or offer of MakeMyTrip for a single booking.
        • The vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and has to be redeemed against tour bookings.
        • The vouchers shall not be valid for partial redemption.
        • MMT service charge, if any, is to be borne by the customer.
        • The vouchers can be used only once i.e. if booking gets cancelled then you cannot claim the voucher or voucher amount back.
        • No claim arising from loss or misuse of voucher shall be maintainable against MMT.

          I'LL JUST PASTE THE CONVERSATIONS WITH THE "BUNCH OF LIARS" STAFFS IN MAKEMYTRIP... FROM SEPT 3, 2014 TO NOV 1, 2014: Since Sept 3, 2014, we have waiting for the solution related to our booking made on Aug 28, 2014 but till now we get NOTHING from our end. For almost 2 months now! I made a total 17 COMPLAINTS via PHONE CALL out of which, STRANGELY, 15 cases are RESOLVED!!! For the calls I have made, I have spoken to “BUNCH OF LIARS” staffs who only said 3 THINGS namely: 1. E-Tickets will be issued within COUPLE OF HOURS/NEXT 12 HOURS/ WITHIN 24 HOURS. 2. I will get a call WITHIN 24 HOURS/WITHIN 48 HOURS. 3. THE AIRLINE CANCELED BOOKING, PAYMENT WILL BE REFUNDED. Unfortunately, I did not get our E-TICKETS, I received only ONE CALL from your end, and lastly, the only SOLUTION is to refund my payment. As I have said I completely REJECTING your solution to REFUND my money simply because DUE TO YOUR DELAYING ANTICS the ticket prices nearly DOUBLED!!! I want you to shoulder this price increase since you are the main reason WHY we still do not have our plane tickets. By the way, 3 from “BUNCH OF LIARS” staffs have told me that certain RAJAT SAXENA and JUGAL GANDHI already provided the necessary APPROVAL to bear the price difference. Still, NO E-TICKETS ISSUED and ANOTHER CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION EMAILS have been sent. The last time I called I have given my ONLY SOLUTION to MEHK GANDHI. The ONLY SOLUTION I WANT IS TO BOOK US A FLIGHT FROM DXB TO MNL LEAVING ON DEC 18 OR 19 2014 AND RETURNING ON JAN 9 OR 10 2015 IN ANY AIRLINE WILL DO EXCEPT MALAYSIAN AIRLINE. THIS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION I WANT. I NEED THE CONFIRMATION ON OR BEFORE OCT 27, 2014 MONDAY. IF I DID NOT GET THIS SOLUTION ON THAT DAY, I WILL FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT IN DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT – CONSUMER RIGHTS SECTION IN DUBAI.             I booked a flight from Toronto-Chicago-Delhi, after a week I received an email saying that Toronto - Chicago flight has been rescheduled. However, no alternate flight was given to me. I registered a complaint several times with no update till date. It's been more than a month and half, everyday I receive an email saying ' we're unable to contact the airline please o wait for another 24-48hours'. I called customer service many times but nobody seems to be helpful at all. I spoke to the manager - RAJAT. He assured me he's taking the matter personally and it will be resolved in a week. This was before Dussehra and it's OCT 30 and I am still awaiting for my flight to be rescheduled. I want my issue to be resolved and I have no more patience left to deal with bunch of .               There is a long wait time on the calls and eventually when do get to the point of date change in the conversation the line drops. The message or reason which is given after that is technical snag, I have seen this 5-6 times across 2 ticket bookings. I was wondering is the a common pattern if yes then this could be a way of rigging or harassing customers from changes.

              This is for sure a way of harassing the customer so that they get fed up and hang up on the line. You will get someone on the line much faster for a new booking than your would for a change or a complaint.

              Their IVR system is the most horrible system I have ever come across. The selections offered on the IVR invariably take you to the wrong department frustating the hell out of you. Now imagine if you have to make a call to MMT when you are overseas on the MMT land line number - there are no toll free numbers available when you are overseas...

                Dear Concern, I booked few tickets of Malindo Airlines worth Rs. 65000 on 26th Sep 2014 for two passenger from New Delhi to Malaysia through Make My Trip. 1. Ved Jaiswal 2. Swati With the first passenger by mistake i din't put middle name (PRAKASH) while booking ticket. In second passenger name i wrote Swati as per the passport but their system took it wrongly and updated it Mrs. Swati Mrs. In one ticket subtitle got change Instead of Mrs. Swati to Mr. Swati Now when i took followup with MakeMyTrip till 29th Sep calling 4-5 hours everday, they said name can not be amended as per the term and condition of Malindo Airlines. But for the Second passenger they kept me on hold. And for cancellation, MakeMy Trip were saying tickets are non refundable. Then i confirmed with Malindo Airlines, and got to know that tickets are refundable. and i din't get any other information as they din't entertain me. Now when i conveyed this message to MakemyTrip Call center supervisor, They took the conference call with malindo airlines and cancelled my two tickets on 29th Sep with the refundable amount of approx Rs.43000 with the cancellation charges of 7000. It was suppose to get credit in my account till 10-Oct And for Other tickets with the name of Mrs. Swati Mrs. still they kept me on hold and keep calling me to solve the issue.And finally they approached to right person in Malindo Airlines head office in Malaysia for the name amendment and took me on conference call with them to amend the name, and it got amended. At the same time i confirmed with the same person from malindo airlines regarding other tickets, Ved jaiswal and Mr. Swati which i cancelled, then he told me that it would have amended on request. As subtitle is not an issue in travelling as well as For the middle name he said, Malaysian Immigration Department does not consider middle name. so it would have got amended. So In total make my trip did not approach to right person in Malindo airlines at the right time other wise i wouldn't have to cancel my tickets, in cancellation of tickets and making new tickets i have incurred a loss of approx Rs. 15000. And in their mistake first they were just avoiding, but when i put pressure on them, then they ignored the Term and conditions of malindo airlines and approached to right person in Malindo airlines to get it amend. Call center is not responsive in a efficient manner and even they kept me on hold for hours and hours and hangup my call, I went to head office they promised me help out, but still today is 28th Oct, I haven't got my refund of Rs 43000 as well as they are not listening regarding the misguiding of name amendment. Call center of MMT has promised me more than 20 times to revert on my issue but i never get a call on any issue. then i had to take followup every time. In total i am demanding the Approx Rs.43000 as refund as well as approx Rs.15000 for loss which i have incurred. All Booking Id's are : NN[protected] VED JAISWAL : NN[protected] Mr. Swati Both tickets i have cancelled as they denied to amend my name. Refund amount Appro. Rs 43000 and cancellation charges Approx Rs. 7000 Made new booking with the price appreciation of Approx. Rs 2000 ... : NN[protected] VED JAISWAL : NN[protected] VED JAISWAL Both Booking id still have to cancel with the passenger name Ved Jaiswal as i have already booked new tickets with VED PRAKASH JAISWAl In this total approximate loss would Rs 5000 ... : NN[protected] MRS. SWATI MRS. : NN[protected] MRS. SWATI MRS. In same booking ID they have amended Mrs Swati Mrs as Swati only as per the passport. It was their fault so they changed it and did not talk about the Term and condition and new itinerary will be sending me. ...                   Complaint- I booked a bus ticket on line through Make My Trip (Booking ID-NU [protected] ) Operator Name- New Shatabdi Bus Joshi / operator PNR -TS-MMT[protected] WAE (operator PNR 13541) For travel from Lucknow to Agra on 24.10.14 (alloting sleeper berth - S/2 in AC bus) The ticket mention Boarding time – 9 p.m (boarding point land mark –Awadh Hospital ) from Deo Hospital, near Anmol Restorent, ( Hardoi Sitapur Road ) Lucknow, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , The above travel operator harassed me, causing loss of time, inconveniences, through their wrong intimation & uncourteous behaviour, necessitating me to put my complaint with claim of compensation due to deficiency in services on following points- a- Your on line ticket print out do not mention amount. b- You charged amount Rs.1334/-for full journey from Lucknow- to -New Delhi (but issued ticket upto Agra), who has authorised you to collect higher amount. c- I reached at boarding point (mentioned in ticket-( –Awadh Hospital, Deo Hospital, near Anmol Restorent, ( Hardoi Sitapur Road ) Lucknow and waited sometime, but on enquiry, I found that there is no provision of any such service near reported boarding point. I had tension since my local taxi has left that place by then. d- I tried to contact over phone no. given in ticket (emergency phone [protected]- to find the mobile as switched off ) e- I got tensed & tried to contact another mobile no. given in ticket ( [protected]- to be advised only to note 3rd mobile no. to get any information ) f- This 3rd phone told me to be a driver (I presumed him as related bus driver ), who told me to reach Blue bus standing at gate-3 of Piccadily Hotel (about 700- 800 meters away), I hired a rickshaw & paid for it to reach there tensed) g- On reaching there, I was informed by bus operator staff, that they have 3 buses, today blue bus will not go &, sit in another bus standing there. h- Bus started at 10 pm (against advised departure of 9 pm ) & the ticket was checked by bus conductor & berth was given in 4th cabin (each double decker cabin had one twin sharing berth (there was no numbering on any sleeper berth-ticket allotted berth as S-2 ) . How can there be a twin sharing single berth (with no division/partion) i- I could not sleep all night, under fear (who will be next sleeping passenger in same undivided berth ), but no 2nd passenger joined because of festival. j- Bus was scheduled to reach Agra by 5 am, so at 5.17 am, I went to driver to enquire the status, but I was shocked to know that bus will not go Agra and has taken Express Highway for Delhi. k- Driver told me that he was not told that there was any passenger for Agra in bus. ( bus conductor checked up ticket at lucknow before allotting me berth ) So bus by passed Agra at around 4 am ( scheduled arrival at Agra was 5 am ) & headed for Delhi through Express Highway.. Bus did not stop and bus driver told me rudely to contact ticket booking office. I tried to contact the the phone numbers given in ticket as mentioned above, , no one picked up phone & I was forced to sit upto Delhi.. l- It was a festival day (bhai duij ) & my relatives at Agra drop point kept waiting for me since 5 am. m- I had to jump out of bus at Jewar toll plaza (152 km away from Agra towards Delhi ) to catch next available ordinary roadways bus for Agra (Hapur depot bus –UP 14 DT/4775 Rs.159/-) to reach by 9.30 am. Thus you are advised to pay immediately the compensation of Rs.5000 + expenses+Ticket cost immediately to my card account, else i will take legal recourse & reporting to press about such inhuman behaviour, excess fare charging, uninformed change of bus & changing route .

                    I have booked the ticket to Washington DC Dulles airport from Abu Dhabi on November 16, 2014 and return same. Due to error i missed typed the date and i called the agent company to revise the date of departure and i have informed that the ticket is offer and cant be rescheduled or refund but these information was not mentioned at the initial stage of ticket booking but it is printed after ticket booking. I found out the price from airline directly and noticed that the price is much cheaper than make my trip charged me but still my compliant is why they are not notifying before paying the amount. Make my trip is charged me AED 4, 000 and actual regular price is AED 3780.00 This is really cheating to public and rescheduling is not permitted i forced to book new ticket so kindly request you to provide me the justice and punish these goons.

                      i booked 3 tickets on 24th august 2014, travel date 25th august 2014 from srinagar to delhi (booking ID's NF[protected], NF[protected], NF[protected]. I made cancellation request and got cancellation successful with reference id's IN1408R2S197362, IN1408R2S197359, IN1408R2S197364. the amount they assured will be refunded was 1727 each which equals to 1727x3 = 5181. but they refunfed only Rs 98, Rs 98, Rs 258 (Tota 454). whenever i contacted them they defer by saying we will take action and your amount will be refunded. Now i request yourself to take necessary correct actions and advise makemytrip.com to refund full amount as soon as possible

                      At an outset we regret for the inconvenience this may have caused.

                      We have validated your case with our concerned team and the Airline to get to the root cause of the problem. We have found that your flight was supposed to depart on 25-Aug-14 and cancellation was done online on the very same day. Please also note that passenger did not select direct cancellation option, he has selected special claim options and category selected by passenger to claim refund on the booking was " Ticket Directly cancelled with Airline ". If this category is selected by the passenger, this in itself means that he has cancelled his booking with the Airline directly and now as soon as they process refund to the travel agency, they will refund it to the passenger. On 26-Aug-14, we checked with the Airline and we were informed that passenger is no show on the flights and ticket was never cancelled. In case of no show tickets are non refundable.

                      We are sorry but we will not be able honor your case. We thank you for contacting us.

IN ALL TRAVELLING WITH MAKE MY TRIP, BRAND HAS NOT GIVEN GOOD EXPERIENCE, BUT SOME BAD MEMORIES LIMITED.

My set no 21 also sod to anther customer by travel agent & it was so confusing So my request is that please don't given this type of Bus ticket on your site it is matter of reputation .                               I booked an domestic holiday tour to Andaman Island with Make My Trip on 22/09/14 at Make My Trip Kolkata Office at Sarat Bose Road, my booking ID was IN1409B3S014862. The duration of journey was from 15/10 to 20/10. During the time of booking the booking agent Pinky told us that there was to options for booking one with Niel Island stay and one without Niel Island stay. But she insisted to go for without Niel Island stay. So we booked accordingly. But the real scenario is the cruise ship MAKcruz operates from Portblair to Havlock and to Niel and back to Portblair once a day. So during Portblair to Havlock and Havlock to Niel we went in cruise ship MAKcruz. But in the evening the MMT people (the Manager at Niel Island). Put us in ordinary ship without reservation. So we had to come all the way to Portblair standing at the deck for around 2 and half hours. Next day the other group (who has Niel stay) came by cruise ship MAKcruz. If both have paid the same then why this preferential treatment. You could have made the tour package with Niel stay for all the people. I have paid a substantial amount of money why I have to come standing in a crowded ship without seat reservation. I need a satisfactory answer. I have booked a Shimla Manali tour as our Honeymoon tour in 2011. My wife insisted so I booked MMT for Andamans. But the way you have done this, she herself has told me not to book MMT in future. See it takes a long time to build a good reputation but takes a second to destroy. Abhishek Halder

                                Hello Team, Regarding IN1410B4S033944 Today 18th October 2014 12:10 IST I was booking a return flight for my wife and daughter from Delhi to Singapore. The Flight Cost was around 55000 INR. This Gentleman named Kanishk Sharma from make my Trip called me and said he will assit me with better fair. He took nice 20 minutes and made an itenary for Bangkok instead of Singapore. On noticing that I told him its Singapore then he again tried and took another 20 minutes to generate a booking number and asked me to Pay 56156. I did that and he again kept asking passenger details for another 10 minutes and finally started telling that Flight charges are Changed now and I need to pay more. I asked for refund as I could see better fares on the internet on MMT site and Airline site. He didnt let me speak to supervisor and neither did immediate refund. He gave me option of 3 Days refund which was no use for me as I would miss booking my flight with the card for another 3 Days. Another Guy Sachin Tyagi then gave only option of booking at a higher rate which I had to opt as my money was already with MMT. I finally paid another 1800 INR and got the tickets booked at a much higher rate in 1 Hr and 10 Minutes. This was totally the MEss created by senseless, (Seems uneducated) and pathetic travel advisers from MMT. When I asked for Compensation of all this, the only thing I got is "Sorry Sir" Is that all. Pathetic service and I will Blog it and also take to consumer forum as well. Attached are snapshots of the flight rates available after an hour as well. Will never ever recommend MMT Mohit

                                  Dear Sir, I made a booking with Make my Trip for flight from Mangalore to Dubai with Air India Express on 13th September 2014. But I had to cancel the ticket and had a word with customer care executive in their toll free number for getting my refund. They informed me that they will take the request and will process it in 5 working days amounting to Rs 7877/- will be refunded to my credit card. They sent me the confirmation mail on 13th September stating that “They have confirmation from Air India Express and it is the have got the confirmation from the Airlines that they have initiated the refund”. When I crossed checked with Airlines in Dubai they confirmed me that they have already refunded the same to makemytrip, please check with them. But now makemytrip is still confirming with the Airlines that will be check with the airlines. It’s more than a month now and they are still checking the issues.                                     I had booked a ticket ID NF[protected] for my wife to travel form Mangalore to Delhi through make my trip. Since my daughter had to be operated upon I changed the date on 18/10/2014 from 19th to 21st October thro logging in Make my trip. The request was processed confirming that i would receive the ticket in 3 hrs on my mail. Also amount of Rs 7156 was deducted from my account due to this transaction. After two hrs call was recvd a call from[protected] from one Mr Anup saying that there are no seats available in this flight and he is checking alternate flight. After that the ordeal started, i tried to contact this no repeatedly at least 20 times, but no answer. The help line no promissed several times of call back. But no one called back. I was left with no ticket, having paid rs 22000 odd to make my trip, i had no money.My request kept on showing under process on the net.I was in a situation where i had paid rs 22000 and i did not have the required ticket. Mr Anup who promised another flight had vanished. The help line no said that it was a different department of make my trip. Finally i had to cancel my ticket 3 hrs before the flight. My wife is in the hospital with my daughter. She doesnt have a ticket to travel back. Around eleven thousant rs have been cheated away by Make my trip. And we have nothing to do. My daughter at hospital in mangalore is trying to gather students to join hands aginst make my trip so that we gat a flight or the money. We are approaching all options for justice including social sites.

Next day i tried to cancel the same while cancelling its saying wrong penalty amount(Penalty amount 1961, Refund amount 316).                                         Hi, I booked round trip from Chennai to Port Blair in the Month May 2014 and due to some reason i cancelled my return ticket on 30th August 2014 through Airlines ( Jet Airways ). Jet Airways informed, for refund make my trip has to claim and from make my trip refund will be process to my account. From 3rd Sep 2014 to till date have created more than 50 Request for refund through customercare and i have written more than 20 emails to [protected]@makemytrip.com, not even one time i got reply from makemytrip and there is no update for my request. Whenever i call makemytrip customercare executive create new request and old one removed, i walked into the offline office in bangalore for raising request, they did not help me to my request.
