Hey #OYO

It is really a pity that I had to chase you for such a petty case since 31st of May 2019. I have been struggling to get any resolution of my issue since 31st Of May and customer care executives transfers call that nobody receives.
I booked a hotel via #OYO on 31st May but as I was denied Check In after several attempt your customer care executive booked another hotel. When I reached there they also denied check in saying they don't have any contract with #OYO. Then I insisted to refund my money to customer care executives though they told me that I will get refund for both the bookings but till date nothing has happened. In #OYO App it says my refund has been cancelled. I am feeling cheated now. Booking IDs are QLCX7062 and VEZC6421. #Shame #OYO

I would like to inform that after contacting a manager in OYO Kolkata office through my school friend he pursued the case on Thursday Morning 13th and by Friday 14th June afternoon my money have been refunded 100%. I really don't know what would have happened if I could not pursue through some insider. Sorry state.

    My booking in the hotel was from 29/04 to 09/05. I had to check out two days prior in the hotel and when called the customer service i was promised an amount of 5, 300 as the check out charges. Was promised a callback from supervisor to confirm the amount but no one called. After multiple calls which i made to the oyo customer service portal the supervisor told me that the charges have increased to 13 thousand. Again was promised number of callbacks in the day where they said they will check their call records of what the agent spoke and will call back for the same but no callback. This is very bad customer service. They have been dropping my calls after being adamant for the issue to be resolved.

      I had booked hotel OYO DWANG RESORT-23391 (including breakfast) in the name of my brother Mr. Ashok Mahto on 28th May 2019 in Gangtok from 30th May to 1st June 2019 through OYO App. I got the confirmation message for this booking. On arriving at destination the property denied admission saying there is no booking in the name of Mr. Ashok Mahto and they also told that they have already ended up agreement with OYO company and suggested us to contact OYO.
      When we contacted OYO Customer Service, they sent us another hotel named as OYO 35885- RUMTEK HOTEL DEMADZONG instead of what i have booked and they told us this hotel is as similar as OYO DWANG RESORT-23391 but Rumtek Hotel Demadzong was a property of very low standards compared to my earlier booking. This hotel denied providing breakfast which was part of our earlier booking for which payment was done upfront.
      I have paid Rs. 7625 for Dwang Resort 23391, Rumtek Hotel Demadzong which is way above its standard. Above all the physical pain and mental agony which my family suffered due to OYO mismanagement is unpardonable after paying full amount in advance.
      I have been cheated by OYO and thus demand refund of my entire amount without any further delay. No customer should suffer because of their problems with their properties. The harassment faced by me should be immediately compensated by providing the refund.

      I am trying to contact with OYO Customer services since 5 days and made more the 20 calls but no fuitful solution is providing by them and i have also mailed to OYO on 5th June2019 but no one is responding.

        I had booked OYO 15989 (RC Residency Bhagsunag, Bhagsu, Dharamkot Rd, McLeod Ganj, Himachal Pradesh 176219) property with booking ID JXBV7491 for one night (6th June 2019 - 7th June 2019) and made full payment for the same.

        When we reached the hotel on 6th june 2019, hotel manager denied check-in and told that they do not have any tie-up with OYO rooms. The tie-up was canceled from 10th March 2019.

        We had to go through lot of difficulties as it was very late when we reach at hotel and then we need to look of alternate solutions. OYO team was not responding and when talked to customer support they put call on hold for nearly 20 minutes and then cut the call. I was having small kid with me.

        OYO is still taking the bookings.

        I want the compensation for following reason.
        1. The vacation day got spoiled.
        2. OYO put my family in danger in unknown city.
        3. They are not initiating the refund.

          We book an oyo room on 10th of june at 9.53pm. The room was booked for 11th - 12th of june. The name of the oyo was - oyo flagship 24821 waterfront guest house. The address provided to us by oyo is AQ block sector 5, kolkata.
          When reached the place at about 11am. The first thing we noticed is the hotel was nowhere to be found near the location given to us so we thought maybe incorrect address is give. We tried calling the manager of the hotel. We tried calling him for about 5-6 times and then he finally picked up. We politely asked the person whether we are speaking to the manager or not. The person said, “ I AM THE ONWER OF THE HOTEL, I HAVE 7 PROPERTIES SO PLEASE CLARIFY WHICH ONE YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. We gave him the oyo number and then what he said is the most shocking thing ever. He said “ THAT PROPERTY DOES NOT EXIST. I HAVE MOT STARTED THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROPERTY YET. THE ROOMS SHOWN ARE DUMMY ROOMS AND THE HOTEL IS NOT LIVE YET. OYO MADE A MISTAKE AND LISTED THE HOTEL IN THE LIST. GO AND CALL OYO AND CANCEL YOUR BOOKING.”
          After hearing this, we tried calling oyo 16 times out of which they only picked up twice. Both the times, the representative said i am really sorry, can i interest you in booking another room nearby? The rooms offered to us were twice the amount we booked the first hotel for. And, also the locations they were asking us to go, were almost 8-9 kilometres away.
          We finally booked another hotel and checked in at about 1 pm. We waited for 2 hours in this weather. The haphazard caused to us by oyo is disgusting.
          We finally got a mail from oyo at 2.46pm, about 4 hours later saying our booking has been shifted to another hotel.
          Serious action needs to be taken against oyo this time. Awful experience.

            My amount of 359 rupees from Oyo was not credited into my account but they are saying the money was already been credited. I wrote a mail to the customer care about this they responded very late and did not provide refund transaction details also. They are showing a fake notification in the Oyo app that your money successfully credited into your account. But we are not receiving money into my accounts. If they really credited refund into my account why they aren't giving a refund.

              Hello,

              I had booked a hotel ‘18340 Oyo Grand Pune’ for 4th June via Goibibo. Due to some work, I reached late at around 10pm. The staff denied me any room, saying that a previous customer took the keys of the room that was allotted to me by mistake, and that my room was blocked. They refused to arrange for any alternative either. I had to book another room (which was also an Oyo) so late at night.

              1. I received a refund for Oyo Grand Pune from Goibibo
              2. I need a refund for the alternative hotel (Oyo 22997 Beverly Hills Pune)

              Very, very disappointed. Please do the needful.

              When we comes in jungle view hotel mansoori hotel staff asked me sir there no booking of your in this hotel i am very upset .in this journey me and my family members stay in car overnight.oyo is just wast of money i will go to court against this harrasment.

                My registered no. is [protected]. I booked a room in hotel bidhan residency siliguri on 7.6.19 and made online payment for room as well dinner. But when i went to hotel i have been denied by hotel to provide room as they have certain issues with oyo. We faced a lot of problems bcz of that and ultimately had to make some other arrangement. I called customer care a lot but nothing worth. They put us on hold only.

                  1) I stayed in Hotel Comfortable Studios stay Oyo home 36140 in Manali on 22nd--23rd may my booking Id was IUNE9735 there was no light and water in Toilet whole night and whole morning till I checked out after checking out I gave 2/5 review in review window of oyo with same reason explained .My other Mail id is [protected]@yahoo.com from which I booked this hotel .

                  2) Next day on 24th may the Hotel owner Mr Amit Behl called me and threatening and abusing me for the review that I had given I have audio Recording of that also, I am shocked by this incident because I booked this hotel from Oyo and threatened by his phone call I had option of police complaint and I was almost doing that even I have audio recording of hotel owner Mr Amit Behl .

                  3) As I have doubt that he can be of Criminal Background so I am leaving this on Oyo how to tackle this but I can expect the Refund of Rs 900 Rs that I paid for this hotel who abused and threatened me just because I gave 2/5 Review and with no light and water in washroom on that day of 22nd may .

                    i have booked oyo for 19 april 2019 and made payment of rs 1902.But on reaching the hotel i was informed that tie up of hotel mavens green has been end up from oyo..So i called oyo cutomer care an brief about the problem, they shifted me to new hotel, and told me that the payment f rs 1902 which i made for oyo mavens green will be refunded to my account.But till date refund didn't issued to me.

                      When we reached at hotel they denied to check-in and said no rooms available now, after I called oyo team they talked to receptionist after then he said I will not give room to you whatever you want You can do as you called oyo team.
                      With me my girlfriend also there and he talked very ugly with her.
                      So I want to complain about this matter, oyo calling team not supporting me.i want to do case on oyo.

                        Process of OYO for frustating its customers

                        Firstly, they cancelled all my bookings stating that it is cancelled due to some technical issues. I booked the same hoyels from oyo at triple rate.

                        After that you issued the OYOEXTRA20OFF coupon. When i tried booking using that coupon, the same was not accepted. The screen shot of the same i sent to saurav_451174 as asked by him. After sending he never replied.

                        Thirdly the if the executives dont have any solution they simply keep you in line and then automatically disconnect it. If they are genuine then they can give a call back.

                        No resolution provided by any of the executive team. Only reply they have is 'mafi chahte hai'

                          OYO Rooms — hotel denied checkin
                          on Jun 5, 2019
                          I booked a Hotel today for my stay in chamba early morning at chamunda view but they denied checkin stating that they are not accepting the bookings made by Oyo. I called the customer support and they told they will be refunding the amount to my account.
                          I booked another hotel near that area as Hotel rajveer and they again denied the checkin stating that they have cut the ties from Oyo but when i said that i will file complaint against them then allotted the room.
                          The customer support is not reponding and I don't know when I will be receiving the refund.
                          Everytime they says that there senior will call back.

                            It was really pathetic which I have faced during my manali trip.No one can even imagine such a poor services.Me being a female trusted on oyo n visited that place along with my 7 year old son and oyo made my life hell there

                            I have booked hotel Snow princess for Manali from 5th to 6th with advance booking. Booking ID was UNTC7425. But Hotel snow princess denied for checkin of OYO customers.Post that someone Ajay from oyo called me n informed that they have some issue with hotel hence they are transfering my booking to another hotel. I said ok because no option was left with me. But rather than transferring the booking that person created a another confirm booking of of Hotel Avenue Manali. Booking I'd FGUS7135. Still it was ok with me. But when again I visited to Hotel Avenue they have denied that they donot have rooms n no confirmation from OYO.
                            I called to OYO customer care n hotel staff denied them on call that they donot have any booking from OYO n They donot have rooms as well. I start calling to OYO customer care so we 4: 30 onward to mid night but either my call was o hold after listening my concern or on transfer mode. Me along with my son was wondering here n there on hotels for rooms n calling to OYO continuously but that was totally useless. I have never seen such a pathetic customer service. Post that from one hotel I Have found mr Mukesh thakur number who is taking care of manali Zone n with his help I found one room in hotelPalette - The River Crescent Resort
                            2558-1, , VPO, NH 21, Kullu, Rangri, Manali, Himachal Pradesh, Manali, Manali . At midnight I was paying in necessarily to auto n Cabs to search hotels.
                            Finally I found this hotel at 2 AM next morning with room availability . BUT again I have paid for this room because oyo representative created a another booking rather than transfering to earlier one. In morning 6 AM I have received room with lots of hassle, tension and 11 AM was again checkout time as per hotel.MY son was suffering from fever at night as on road it was too cold n we have spend almost entire night on road.
                            NOW I need refund of both of my bookings for which I have paid and not used even a single penny services

                            I need my entire amount back for both manali bookings on urgent.Else I highlight this concern to legal team
                            Also I Have 68 call recordings of different customer care n touch points of OYO. If you wanted to see your services n response to customer.then any time you can ask

                              This is with reference to my Prepaid Order Number: BOOKIG ID - EXUO9283 made on Wed, 08 May 2019

                              I had made booking for 10-12th June. I reached hotel around 11pm in the night and hotel denied my entry saying no rooms available. He asked me to contact your customer care which I did 4 times, but every time the call was disconnected from their side and I was left with no option. Despite being an OYO wizard member no support and help was given to me.

                              I had to pay extra amount asked by the hotel guy to check in ( suddenly the rooms were available if I pay more).

                              After 1 hour of hassle through your non working customer service I had to pay extra amount to check in, as I was very far from home I had no other choice.

                              After being a loyal OYO customer from the last 1+ years, I am compelled to say that this has been one of the most Harrowing & painful experience from OYO and I & my friends would have to think twice or thrice before placing any booking on OYO henceforth.

                              I am unable to fathom the unjustified reason for which the check in was denied even after having the payment done one month back.

                              Please underscore the fact that while at one hand it was an appalling, unprofessional & unpleasant experience for me, to you also it is a loss where your loyal customer is dissatisfied & eventually loosing faith in you & your service.

                              It's worth analyzing the root cause of this untrained & unprofessional delivery person's attitude, who not only brings ignominy to you, but also is a cause of ordeal & hassle to your loyal customers.

                              Please look into this issue on top most priority & do the needful to get my money refunded

                                I and my wife were staying on oyo 17171 Sandhya Guest house Varanasi, Room no 112. Amount 6000 INR was stolen from my wife's purse when cleaning the room on 10/06/2019. When room servicing was going on at 2P.m we were walking in the lone outside the room. At the evening near about 6.30 pm
                                when we checked the purse the money was missing. For your kind information, no one has entered the room at the span of this time. When I complained to the reception of the hostel they called the room servicing boy and as usual he denied that he did not take the money.

                                  We had booked two rooms online and the direction provided for the hotel was wrong. They agreed to provide us with a new Hotel at 11:30 PM at night with an entire family. The new hotel they booked refused to let us in. Complete payment of 3652 rs was made. Now they keep putting us on hold whenever we contact customer care. The date of the booking of the hotel was 3rd June 2019. The problem is leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere during midnight. We need the entire refund. The booking was done with the name of Geetansh location Narkanda, Shimla. We have sent them 3 emails and countless phonecalls. All they do is put us on Hold and today they disconnected the call twice.

                                    Hello Team,

                                    BOOKING was done for Booking ID: YNXR0762 was done on 6th June 2019. While booking there was no information that Elevator (Lift) is not working or it is not available for occupants. While booking I have clearly mentioned the reason for visiting Delhi and also booking the room with OYO. I was travelling with a patient and visited Delhi for doctor consultation.

                                    How can a patient use steps to get into rooms. This information was not provided at the time of booking or after booking. When I have called Prakash continental hotel to keep the room ready as I was on the way to Hotel. I was informed that Elevator (lift) is not working and there are no rooms available in ground floor that can be occupied. I was informed by Prakash continental hotel guy to call customer care and request for change in facility.

                                    My concerns are:

                                    1). I have done the payment for the booking of (OYO Flagship 18999 Prakash Continental Hotel ) - Booking ID : YNXR0762 . Why this is not adjusted towards the change in hotel or facility. I have done the payment to OYO. I am yet to receive the refunds.

                                    2). I was asked to change the facility as hotel is not able to provide the basic amenities in a 3 star hotel as shown in OYO. Why i should take the burnt of losing 50% of the amount i have paid in advance.

                                    3). Customer care number was getting disconnected multiple times and every time i have explain the entire thing. Customer care is not able to address my concerns at all.

                                    4). When the second booking as in process Fly INN hotel, customer care executive was not able to initiate the refund and was informed to call back for escalation to initiate the refund process. Tried multiple times to initiate the refund process without success.

                                    TILL DATE I DID NOT RECEIVE THE REFUND AMOUNT. IT SHOULD BE 100%. WHEN CUSTOMER WAS FORCED TO CHANGE THE FACILITY BECAUSE OF LACK OF BASIC AMENITIES AT THE HOTEL AND CHANGE THE HOTEL AT 11TH HOUR. ENTIRE AMOUNT THAT IS PAID SHOULD BE REFUNDED.

                                    IT LOOKS OYO IS TRYING TO EARN BY MAKING ITS CUSTOMER CHANGE THE FACILITY AT THE NTH HOUR AND TAKE 50% FOR PROCESSING THE REFUND.

                                    VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I called a customer care they are telling he will forward the call to senior person for processing a refund status but none of senior person is talking with me call getting disconnected automatically.                                         Following our stay in your hotel on the 1st of June 2019, I regret to say that it was most unsatisfying and frustrating and left some very unpleasant memories. I need to know from you what steps you are going to take for the following discomforts my family members and myself were subject to during our stay there:

                                        1) Poor Customer Service – as an example the employees at the reception kept promising that we would get tea in 10 minutes when we arrived there in the evening of 1st, but the tea never arrived even after 1 hour. If your employees, had been frank and told us if this was not possible we would have made alternative arrangements. This for me is a question of integrity
                                        2) There was no drinking water in any of the 5 rooms that were booked . Why was this the case?
                                        3) There were no kettles in the room to even make something basic as a cup of tea. One kettle was provided after repeated requests, in the night.
                                        4) There was no hot water in any of the toilets for taking bath even after insisting on this with your staff the previous night
                                        5) Unpleasant smell from the bathrooms
                                        6) There was no telephone directory in any of the rooms which would have told us which number we had to call to contact the reception.
                                        7) You promised free wifi and the wifi password was provided, but we could not connect and the explanation provided was that the server was down
                                        8) Poor maintenance condition of the rooms – one toilet seat was wobbling so much that it was hard to sit on it. One of the rooms had the wall skirting fallen off.
                                        9) You promised free breakfast but there was no proactive arrangement made from your side and based on previous day’s broken promises we had lost all confidence in your words by that time
                                        10) There was no timely response to our request for an extra bath towel


                                        Your hotel is not something I would recommend to anyone based on the above issues that we faced during our stay there.
