I am an old customer of makemytrip and never thought of booking my flights or hotels or holiday packages on any other website but this time i am highly dissatisfied with the services provided by makemytrip. I booked a holiday package to Singapore for 4 nights and 5 days and the services were totally unexpected and against the makemytrip standards.
Hotel and flights were not worth at all as per the package charges. I am definitely going to turn up to media/social media/networking sites and raise this issue up as my precious moments were spoiled because of your poor service.

On an average i checked on MMT, singapore flights costs around 20k approximately per person to and fro i.e 40k for 2 that too for direct flights and with airlines like Singapore Airlines and Jet Airways.
secondly, Value Thomson Hotel in singapore is a 3-star property thats costs around 20k for 2 people for 4 nights.
Visa charges if i include is around 5k for 2 people.
And moreover if I add the taxi services which MMT provided us for Airport Pick and drop max to max comes upto 5k to and fro.

So, the total comes up to 70k i.e. maximum price i could calculate for a singapore package MMT provided us.
But, MMT charged 1.02 lac that too after some discounts and my MMT wallet.

Coming to the problems we faced during the trip, firstly when we reached hotel Value thomson, we saw the qulaity of the rooms was very poor as the size of the room was equivalent to a washroom and there was no ventilator, Window in the room or washrooms. It was not at all a 3-star standard Hotel.
The Hotel did not have its own kitchen and they borrows a space from a nearby cafe for complimentary breakfast. The Hotel did not provide any facility for lunch/dinner as they did not have a kitchen.
Moreover, after swimming in the hotel's swimming pool, i got serious ear infection and sore throat due to the pool's dirty water.
On encountering all this we were ridiculously pissed off.

The fight was not over yet, MMT provided a return flight i.e a domestic Indigo Airlines which did not even provide meals and moreover, there was 5 hours waiting time for the next connecting flight from bengaluru to Delhi.
There was no sightseeing included in the package. I dont know what for 1.02 lac was charged for this pathetic experience.

Incident date: 22nd June, 2018 to 27th June, 2018(a 4 night and 5-day package).

I would like to get the refund from MMT for the worst experience so that MMT cannot cheat others in a similar way.

    I have cancelled air ticket from indigo and i have got returned my money in my make my trip account, when i book a train ticket i'm not able to use my wallet cash money though i have rs 9698 in my account and also it's not showing the transfer option. Please help. Though i have 12000 rs total in my wallet, when i book train ticket my wallet option is showing only 2 option mobikwik and airtel and my cash is not showing. Please help.

      I had booked a trip to pelling for the period 06.06.2018 to 10.06.2018 through makemytrip.com. I fell critically ill on the night of 03.06.2018 and had to be hospitalised on an emergency basis. As per the doctor’s advice, i could not carry on with the trip and on 04.06.2018 i called up the agent of makemytrip and requested for a deferment of the plan. She immediately put me on to another department who initially said they would do it. They asked for all my medical reports as proof which i provided after i was released from the hospital on 07.06.2018. On 11.06.2018 i got the portion of fare paid to indigo airlines. I had to follow up regularly for the balance amount but on 22.06.2018, makemytrip.com finally said they can not give me any refund. I have lost around rs.95000/= in the process. They could have deducted 1 days hotel booking and refunded the balance amount if deferment was not possible. Portion of airfare also should have been refunded as this was a case of medical emergency.

        I booked a hotel in Goa for 23 June ...after reaching there I called the host number given by MMT . He said we don’t have any hotels and rooms available I can’t help you and i[censored] r facing any issues contact MMT. And the location provided for hotel we reached and nothing was available even the location was false ..worst experience.i request please don’t do this don’t make people suffer and customer care is not at all answerable for this after going there we booked other hotel and spend more money ...wastage of time too .

          Hi sir,
          This is nigel lopes (+91 *431)

          Last night around 22:40 i booked rail tickets for two people for 9th of july at 22:55 from chennai central to mumbai, from makemytrip app and the transaction was successful, but i did not receive any message or email, neither from mmt or irctc, regarding the booking i paid for. I even contacted the customer care toll free number but they said no booking has been made via this (*431) 10 digit number.
          So how do i get a confirmation for my booking or refund of the amount i paid for to book the tickets?

          This is my transaction number[protected]

          And this is the message i received from the bank,

          (Thank you for using our atm card for withdrawal of rs.4290 from makemytrip india privat with txn no[protected] on date[protected] clr.)

            false hotel voucher and incomplete service with lots of hassalls

            I m writing this because I want everyone to know that MAKE MY TRIP is total fraud. Let me explain now...
            I took a holiday package " splendid north east - pelling special" for a period of 25th may to 30th may 2018.
            This package was a pick and drop from silliguri. Belief me friends during this period me and my family had been fully exploited by MAKE MY TRIPfrom all angle i.e. mentally, physically as well as financially....

            I booked an internation ticket from seattle to bengaluru on 22nd june through credit card. After all the pages the final page of entering the details of otp and password given and suddenly the website went off blank for several minutes. I got immediate sms of my amount debited to credit card. I callwd the call center of credit card to reverse the transaction. After several hours of transaction i get a mail regarding confirmation of ticket. This is ridiculous. You cannot maintain a stable website and we have to face financial loss. Please co ordinate with bank and reverse the amount. Else we may have to take up the matter with consumer court.

            One of the worst customer service providers. When the ticket is not issued immediately how can you demand payment.

              We booked a cab from noida to parvati valley. The cab driver was really rude and unprofessional. He stopped the car anywhere he wanted, without considering the safety issues(as we were 4 girls). And all throughput the trip the driver was misbehaving with us. Ultimately we had to halt the trip in between.

                A) i have 500+ bucks in my wallet, right now.
                B) i'm on the final payments page.
                C) i'm logged in.
                D) but, no friggin way to use the money in my wallet.

                Make my trip is just openly making a fool of everyone with it's ponzi schemes. I'm surprised, there are not many complaints on this, when the internet and quora is filled with questions from naive consumers asking around on how to use the money in their wallet, while the cheeky mmt so easily get's away with apologizing to just one o[censored]s.

                And here i thought, it was the mnc's that rob us, and indian companies like mmt are meant to empower us indians.

                Further, in reference to your complaint, please be advised that we have validated your case and as per screen shot provided found that there is a discount coupon code applied and as per terms & conditions of any offer (wallet/discount offer) two offers cannot be combined in a single booking until specified in T&C’s. That is the reason wallet amount is not getting applied since discount coupon is already applied.

                  This is to bring to your attention that i spoke to sneha dua in make my trip who helped me with the domestic holiday package.

                  As discussed with her
                  Earlier, i'm still looking for someone to help me with the international packages. Though she have been a great help but i'm having really bad time with make my trip.

                  I do want this to be escalated and want a call back from one of the managers. Let me share that i have been trying to get in touch with international team since 2 weeks and every time, i either get to hear that, there is a long queue or they have left for home.

                  I have been given multiple information regarding their shift timings and have been fooled that i will receive a call back next day.

                  Today i spoke to two people from sales team, rohit and parvesh kumar who were highly incompetent and uneducated. They both refused to answer my query and when asked for a manager, they at first said that "there is no manager available" and then refused help stating that "your query doesn't need a manager and we can't help you". I am shocked the way i have been treated by these 3 men

                  I would urge you to listen to the call recordings. They were extremely rude and i believe that the manager virendra rawat was right beside them, however did not initiate to come on call even once.

                  I wonder if mmt has been making so much business and they just want to lose their customer now. This is not my only account. My husband and i have been associated with mmt for over 5 years now and have never faced such disrespect, disgrace, disappointment and rude behaviour. The service level had gone pathetic.

                  If you can help me for once and ask any manager to return my call and take this offline as i'm very upset. I would also need the complaints desk email address and the highest contact person's email address or phone number.

                  I hope you guys would certainly not want me to go social about this and explaining my experience, hence would request a call back urgently.

                    I want to put forward my complaint stating that just like any other account i want to deactivate mmt account as i didnt like their services and i dont want to receive any promotional mails from them, stating that i called mmt customer care and asked them to remove my account and details from their database to which they denied as they can't do it.

                      Regarding booking nh[protected]. This is to inform you that i got a confirmation that my stay has been cancelled then why i am not getting my money back. First i was told that if the hotel guys sends you a mail regarding cancellation then we will refund you the booking amount or will be given you as points. Now when i have send the confirmation mail regarding the cancellation now they are ignoring this mail.

                        I have booked return ticket of ahmadabad to bangkok with make my trip in return flight i was denied boarding because airline did not get their money which i paid to them so i called their call center and they ask me to purchase new booking which they will refund me but now they have refund only part of my booking and they are not answering my phone i have purchase ticket worth rs 208202 which is very costly and i was mentally and physically harrash i was traveling with three child and they have faced great problem. I have every proof of their cheating they also accepted in their mail i hope you will take necessary action to get my refund i am sending you detail of ticket i purchased with makemytrip and another ticket which i have to book again

                          I called up makemytrip to enquire about a dubai holiday package and since then this guy named manish agarwal got after me, started calling, texting, emailing me like crazy to get the package booked.. I didnt respond for a few days at all and still he would call and call..8-10 missed calls in a row just to convince me to book the package through him.. He kept on giving me quotes after quotes just to coax me into booking.. Then finally told me 5 nights package would cost me around 89000 and then later came down to 85000 further forcing me to book the same day till 12:00midnightfalsely telling me that the package will expire (Constantly texting and calling me till that late in the night).. I didn’t book that night and then he started calling me the next morning to book it and pay for it (If the package expired then how come he called up again in the morning) i went online on makemytrip and checked your pre made packages and the same package was available already for 85000, so i confronted him, and asked him whats the difference if i booked through him or booked online, if im getting the same price online.. To which he replied “a personal assistance, i will be available anytime you need assistance, you would have my personal number, i will be assisting you 24x7 when you are in dubai etc etc etc etc. He would keep on calling texting till 12 in the night asking me to pay, manipulating me into thinking the deal would expire and i needed to book in this many minutes, so i eventually did under pressure.. And before booking/paying he told me “as soon as you book ma’am i will send you your concrete/final itinerary” these were his words, so i booked.. And soon after that i called him to ask about the itinerary that he promised and he didnt answer.. I called again, no answer, so i called up on the toll free number and they told me that my booking doesnt exist.. So this guy manish called me back after 3 hours saying he was busy and what not.. Followed by a “even i have a personal life”.. So please tell me where was his personal life when he used to call and text me till 12 in the night and now that i have booked and he has gotten the benefits of me booking through him, he has backed out so conveniently.. Throughout the span of time i was misled and manipulated and lied to so many times, just to make me book, about the itinerary which he promised, he never once mentioned to me that i will need to pay the rest of the trip cost 20 days before i receive the vouchers and actual itinerary, it was his job to mention it to me cz i booked through him.. Again, nothing was mentioned.. I had asked for the itinerary cz i wanted to book other excursions for my parents so for that i needed a schedule.. Before booking he said i will get the final itinerary soon after i book.. And when i asked for it later (After booking) he said you will get it 5 days before the trip.. What the hell is that about? Why so much misleading?! Why so many lies? Why the false promises to make a person pay?! He promised me “personal assistance” and now he is nowhere in the picture.. Some girl named khushboo trivedi called me up and told me i will have to get in touch with some girl named dhwani tgrough email now all the time incase i have any queries and that manish would no longer be handling my booking.. So i said why should i get in touch with email when this manish told me i will have a personal number and that he will be available for personal assistance anytime and i wont need to get into the hassles of emailing and call toll free numbers etc etc.. Now its back to sending emails and having to call on the toll free numbers!!!
                          My request to you is to please take strict action against this manish agarwal as i have suffered as hell and feel cheated to another level! Please revoke whatever benefit he got from my booking as i am extremely disappointed with the whole experience and charade!

                          I have been a loyal customer of makemytrip till now, booking all my flights/hotels through you guys, but after having such a bad experience i feel totally hopeless and my trust in makemytrip has been shattered.

                          Please take the necessary measures against this guy as he is just ruining the reputation of your company and harrasing the customers!

                            We have travel to ravi residency morvi at the time of booking make my trip charged gst but did not show gst in the invoice. At the time of checkout we have asked of gst invoice from the hotel but they said that it will be provided by make my trip. After that we have asked to make my trip and registered the complain but now it's being 6 days we have not got gst invoice.

                              I called up makemytrip to enquire about a dubai holiday package and since then this guy named manish agarwal got after me, started calling, texted, emailing me to get the package booked ..i didnt respond for a few days at all and still he would call and call ..8-10 missed calls in a row just to convince me to book the package through him ..he kept on giving me quotes after quotes ..each lesser than the other ..then finally told me 5 nights package would cost me around 89000 and then later came down to 85000.. ..i went online on makemytrip and checked your pre made packages and the same package was available already for 85000, so i confeonted him, and asked him whats the difference if i book through you if im getting the same price online ..to which he replied “a personal assistance, i will be available ANYTIME you need assistance, you would have my personal number, etc etc etc etc. he would keep on calling texting till 12 in the night asking me to pay, convincing me and what not, so i eventually did..and before booking he told me “as soon as you book ma’am i will send you your concrete itinerary” these were his words, so i booked ..and soon after that i called him to ask about the itinerary that he promised and he didnt answer ..i called again, no answer, so i called up on the toll free number and they told me that my booking doesnt exist ..so this guy manish called me back after 3 hours saying he was busy and what not ..followed by a “even i have a personal life” ..so please tell me where was his personal life when he used to call and text me till 12 in the night and now that i have booked and he has gotten the benefits of me booking through him, he has backed out so conveniently ..throughout the span of time i was misled so many times, about the itinerary which he promised, he never once mentioned to me that i will need to pay the reat of the trip cost 20 days before i receive the vouchers and actual itinerary, it was his job to mention it to me cz i booked through him ..again, nothing was mentioned ..i had asked for the itinerary cz i wanted to book other excursions for my parents so for that i needed a schedule ..before booking he said i will get the final itinerary soon after i book ..and when i asked for it later(after booking) he said you will get it 5 days before the trip ..what the hell is that about?                                 I have already called your customer service and logged a complaint on 4th june 2018. Still waiting for a refund of the overcharged amount of rs 6875/-. While speaking to your adviser while making the date change, they said that the cost of the ticket had gone up and charged me an additional rs.6875/- in addition to the date change fees. When i inquired about the cost of the ticket they adviser told me that she did not know the exact cost but the cost had gone up and told me to pay the additional amount. I did not receive any receipt or ticket from make my trip. I received a ticket from the airlines for rs 5172/-, which was the same as the fare paid at the initial booking. So, i should have been charged only the date change penalty and not any fare difference.
                                After logging the complaint, i have not received any response about the overcharged amount. I only got calls to extend the time for investigation. The last call i got was on the 13th of june 2018. After this there has been no call and no response to any of my mails.
                                Extremely disappointed by the quality of service from a company we trusted to make all of our airline bookings. This one was for my mom who is a senior citizen and had come to muscat to recover from her illness. Will not be able to trust the company any more.
                                P. S. To add to the misery the make my trip customer complaint site doesn't work.

                                  Booking id : nh[protected] for booking of hotel rooms in fraser's suites from 19/06/18 to 21/06/18. And payment made for them. However the hotel refused to provide rooms because there was no communication.
                                  Therefore i complex to take room directly from same hotel.
                                  It is therefore requested to refund the amount of rs 8983 immediately
                                  It is a very bad experience with you after advance payment.

                                      We have booked a trip to bali which is scheduled on 21st june (Booking id nl[protected]. My husband met with an accident and we have been looking to modify our dates since 17th and no one has responded to our concerns besides the fact that we have called them numerous times. Since, booking was already confirmed with vendors and airlines and waiver in cancellation charges is completely dependent on vendor’s discretion.
