i have purchased a Sony tippo dual in June 2013, jb main ne handsfree lga kr is se baat ki to, handsfree m mujhe meri hi awaj suni di, main ne is ke against customer care m complaint ki to unho n meri complaint ko ye kah kr ignore kr diya ki Sony ki manufacturing hi aisi h. ye prob Nokia samsung etc kis me nhi h. plz give me solution .

    Hi, I have bought Sony bravio from Croma Chennai T nagar branch on 1.09.2013. Within one month Oct 25th 2013 TV showing one line in the center. I have raised the complaint on the same date. The technician visited my place and said they will repair in one week. More than two weeks(9.11.2013) I didnt get any response from the sony service center. I made call to them and raised the compliant to Sony customer care. 11.11.13 I got call and they said the same TV is not in stock so they will provide another model TV Sony Bravio KLV-40R452A. I said that model is not satisfied with the existing one. I have asked for new mode Sony Bravio KDL-42W670A. They said that they would arrange a call for this. After one week no response from their end. Again I called customer care they said the same quote they will arrange call. On 25th Nov sony service center from valasarakam guy said KLV-40R452A was arrived So gave pressure to replace with that model. I again contact customer support and said these details customer support team saying they will resolve the problem soon. I have been waiting for 40 days with the repair Tv. I want to raise this to Consumer court . Could you do anything from your end. Regards, Mariappan R [protected]

    I purchased Xperia E single sim mode mobile phone two month ago and it countenusly having a single problem of music player(walkmen) hang all time and customer care executive as well as authorized Service center were not resolve my problem. I request to IBN please help me and take an strict action against the company.

      THIS IS TO INFORM YOU I AM PURCHESD ON LAPTOP 31/08/13 FROM RADIO MUNDIAL BUT THEIR WAS A FAULT AND I SEND IT FOR REPAIRE 16/09/13 AFTER 1 WEEK HE REPLACED THE PART & RETURN BACK BUT AFTER SANCTION THERE WAS A FAULT, SO I GIVE ON 19/10/13 AND THEY RETURNED IT BACK WILL AND FIXING IT.
      I REQUEST YOU TO PLS TAKE ACTION AGAINST THE SELLER.
      PLS DO THE NEEDFUL.

        I have purchased Sony 40EX520 model LED TV from Dubai (careffor) by choice as SONY was always my favourite brand and also my earlier SONY picture tube TV is working for more than 8 yrs. But to my suprise the TV failed in 2 months. The panel was changed free of supply in warranty period by SONY.Thanks for that. After one year again the same problem repeated last month. The authorised service person from SONY attended and conlcuded in 5 mins of observation that the panel needs replacement and will cost Rs.21350/-??? This is really unsatisfactory. Do the life of panel is only one year ?? In that case i will have to spend the same money every year which is 1/3rd of TV price. Now i have an option to switch over to other TV make with 3 years warranty in buy back option (ofcourse with faulty sony tv also) and by paying liitle more that what you are charging for repair. Please let me know if i can get a satisfactory approach from your end to continue with SONY otherwise i feel i should share with all my collegues (15000) in our company to caution about selecting your brand.

          service centre fraud attempt

          i submitted my sony xperia j at a service centre in delhi on 26th november.it was in good condition, only its mic wasnt working.they submitted my phone under warranty.3 days later wen i contact them they show me my phone with a cracked screen.they broke it n said it was like this wen u submitted it.are they kidding me? how can they break my phn n then put it on me then? after my shouting on them they agreed to repair it.so plz tell me guys...

          I bought a Sony Vaio Laptop, Model no. VPCEG35EN on 9th Feb 2012. Just after Laptop warranty got over, it started showing lots of problems. My Laptop screen starts flickering. At time times it was working fine but next moment it wont. Finally my laptop screen went dead in Aug 2013. Although other parts are working fine, but screen is too dim to see anything. Currently I am in GOA when I gave it to Service centre guy they said that we need to change the motherboard, I guess they are not sure which component is mal functioning. Now Mother board cost is 12000 INR and it does not include other service charge. while I bought laptop for around 31000 INR. Currently I am studying and I don't have that much money to spend. I feel pity on Sony. This product has given me so much of mental trauma. I feel disgusted and I don’t suggest anyone to buy a VAIO laptop. I want Sony to take care of my problem. How come these problem starts occurring just after 1 year warranty gets over ?

            Dear Sir, I purchased my Sony Vaio laptop in mid september. Within 3 weeks, It started showing problems in screen. I sent my laptop to Sony Service Center (Ticket no: J[protected]. Below is the service center address: MODERN ELECTRONICS SCO - 2650 BALWANT COMPLEX DASHMESH NAGAR OPP. DYAL SWEETS GILL ROAD LUDHIANA-141003 After 10 days, I received my laptop and when I started the machine, Internal system got fire. I submitted It again to service center. (Ticket no: J[protected]. Service Center personnel told me, laptop's motherboard is destroyed and some other problems. Till now, I have not received my laptop. In 3 months, I used laptop hardly for 3 weeks. This piece is defective, So it is my humble request to replace this laptop. I have not expected this all neither from sony vaio laptop nor son Service Center. Please response as soon as possible. I already waited for more than a month.I am attaching warranty card and bill. Thanks Rishu Goyal

              Complaint Summary: - Gave My Vaio for repair on 21st Sept with Rs 1000/- - 1st Oct. paid 5000/- after getting estimate of Rs.10000+ - Did not hear any word from them till 23rd Oct. even after calling service center multiple times. - Lodged a complaint[protected] but still no reply for 2 days - Put my comments on Sony FB and got a call on 25th Oct - on 26th, I reached at service center and came to know they have did not find my HDD. I provided them with Serial no. - after about 1 hour of searching they found my HDD in their center somewhere. - received my laptop on 27th Oct. and had to face very rude behavior from their delivery person. Track Repair Status Below is the current repair status of your Sony product Repair Reference No: J31775145 Product Model: VGN-SZ650 N Status Description: Your Sony product has been serviced and collected. Now I found that the laptop's left hand side panel is broken and was just fitted in so that it is not noticeable. Extremely unprofessional behaviour by Sony and frustrating to know that after spending 10K+ I am given a broken laptop. I will send out my complaint to Sony head office.               To further add to this, I had to travel 25 Km to submit my broken laptop to their regional office and once agin got trapped in same loop where they would never call / contact me. Made multiple complaints to their service head and sony care email ids and got single reply that they are doing something but again they go dark and no contacts after that!!! Still haven't got my laptop back and I am asking full compensation for the mental agony, frustration and financial losses caused by all this. This is now around 4 months since I gave my laptop for repair..

                Sir, My sony x peria z ultra mobile has a display problem and i communicated with sony service centre, as per instruction i went to indiranagar Sony service center(cheating center) 4th time as the concerned person Mr. Ramesh called. As I told in the first visit without checking the phone they told that phone will be replaced by paying 24k. after complaining to you people they called us and in that 2nd visit they took the phone inside, checked everything and asked us to take the seal on the bill from mobile retailer. 3rd visit again they checked the phone and bill and asked us to get the DD worth 24k to get replacement. But we the regular user of Sony from past 8 years(since Walkman phones started) had hope on Sony that they won't cheat us like this. All our family members uses Sony(Xperia Z1, Xperia S, Xperia M and Xperia C). We even used to advice our friends and relatives to buy Sony smart phones. with all these faith again we asked you for the justice. After this we got a call from Mr. Ramesh ([protected]) from indiranagar service station. In this 4th visit again he took the phone inside and came out with a new thing and asked us about the liquid damage indicator which was not there on that phone at that time. till that day we are not aware about that liquid damage indicator. What is the guarantee that he has not removed the indicator, or else why didn't tell about this in the previous visits. He took the snaps of phone and sent to Head Office and got a reply that 80% cost for replace a phone.. why we send this mail because we never use your products here more and we never recommend your product to anybody...very worst service and very worst brand and xperia serious like xperia z xperia z ultra have major display problems my friend also got same problem but he have damage warranty of 3 month my bad luck i got only 1 month.and one more thing is please take action against ramesh because he will spoil your entire brand name and services... indiranagar Sony service center is not service center its money making service center As the mobile is non repairable you are providing a damage warranty for Z series phones since September 16th, is it our mistake to buy sony products as it arrived to market. If phone has manufacturing defect is it not your duty to honor the regular customers? thanks and regards Nagesh Hegde

                  I have purchased sony laptop from vijay sales panvel on 16.11.2013 but this laptop is not good condition is is faulty i don't believe because the brand name of the sony. when i run with the product within 7 days, vijay sales persons are refused me and told me to go service center ...                     i bought a Sony xperia sp form Singapore, i am residing at India . when i tried to update it by the Sony pc companion by the steps it indicated the mobile got to dead condition. This happened with in 5 days i bought.. i even did not save my full contacts in the mobile. Then urgently i called to the customer service, i fool attended my call, If a person listens to the record of the call i made, the you will know about the Sony company worst service for customers. Then i took the mobile to the service center in Chennai., they did not accept it as it does not satisfy the warranty norms for Indian service. I asked them that i will pay for it, but they rejected. They just said "Take it to a local shop" in a cool manner, how can i give a brand new 5 day old mobile to a local shop. Then i sent mails to the sony customer care, after a long non-satisfying conversations, they said in singapore service center will accept the mobile. With very very hard action i sent my mobile to Singapore, their too the service center did not accept. They are also not saying why this problem occurred.                       Hi, This is mukesh kumar currently residing in karnataka. I have ordered xperia ZL(red) mobile handset from Sony using Diwali discount offer approximately 1 month before. Usually its get delivered in atmost 5 days. So i ordered considering this fact. But as the days passed, there is no information coming from sony about the product. Sometimes they say go to sony farehouse or call ware house or sometimes they say there is no stock. There was no information available in their scheme that the product is not available right now. Its very unfortunate and disgrace for such a reputed company to have no respect to customer. They dont have any tracking system even to check the status of products. they will take you and even dont bill your order for 1 month and say they dont have stock. Its really a crap company when it comes to providing service to customer. I m really frustrated with so much delay in product and they say dont have any information. Never buy product from sony directly. they have worst system for process.

G-2, Goverdhan House 53, 54, nehru place New Delhi Product details : Model Name : SVF15212SNW IN5 SERIAL NO. : S[protected]Y color: white Along with Kingston Laptop Ram 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ email filed to sony india with regard to the same complaint Complaint with reference to Rajat Sharma, registered no. [protected] and [protected] It’s been a long time for me facing problems by my laptop. From the day when I made a mistake to purchase this vaio I am regretting that why had I purchased this laptop. I just can’t understand that why SONY is unable to sort out the problem. My laptop is hanging from the day 1. I had followed each and every step suggested by SONY like firstly I followed your email, made recovery I also went to the SONY care centre {location near shastri nagar pillar no. 171} although I had made a request to SONY that an engineer should be assigned to me, I made this request four days before but when I contacted SONY care for engineer to be assigned, they told we got the request yesterday, so we can’t assign you an engineer right now, then I had to rush towards the SONY care centre, then the reply I got from them was that u don’t have a antivirus system, ok I followed that and still after that I again started facing the same problem . Then again I made a contact to SONY India and followed many steps suggested by SONY India, and before dusshera I also had a remote access by SONY but still the problem was not resolved after that I again made a contact to SONY India but still the problem was not resolved .Then again I went to SONY care Gurgaon {near Huda city metro station}, they misguided me that u are having a duplicate ram of 4 gb in your laptop that’s why your laptop is hanging, he told that we will provide you original ram of SONY then I contacted SONY regarding this and your executive told me that SONY doesn’t manufacture ram then I asked this to the care representative at that time he ignored to accept that, then I rushed to the dealer he told me to move to nearby SONY care then the issue of duplicate ram was resolved . at the SONY care centre I told them everything about the problem also showed them a video of laptop hanging they told that the issue will be resolved then a call was there from SONY that the issue has been resolved, I confirmed this twice they said, then I rushed to SONY care and as I received the laptop It hanged I showed it to the care executive then the laptop didn’t showed any problem then I received the laptop and as I reached my place it again stated hanging. I made a contact to SONY India they assigned me a remote access within 2 hours but there was no reply from them. Then again I made a call to SONY India, they said it will be done tomorrow but yet there was no remote access on the next day and still today the third day there is no remote access from SONY India and it’s the day when I am totally off from SONY service. And it takes me about 8 hours to reach SONY care centre and receive the laptop, your dealer at the time of purchasing the laptop told me that onsite warranty can be assigned to you at your place but the information was fake because I have never got the onsite warranty from SONY care. Now please tell me that how should I come up with this situation. And now I want your engineer to be assigned to me on 1st of November and I don’t care about your policy made by the SONY India, I just want the engineer to be assigned at that place where I want and It is in your circle of onsite warranty . Hoping that this time the problem would be resolved. Thanks if this time SONY could resolve it out but still my laptop hangs and last night it took about 1 hour to restart . plz help me out of it

                          Respected Sir Sir I bought SONY Led TV Model KDL 46 HX 925 (Advanced & Ellite TV ) worth Rs 1, 56, 000/ on 17/10/2011 by authorised dealer SHYAM ENTERPRICES SECTOR 1 BHILAI - CHATTISHGARH There is horizontal lines appearing in display panel for which I have contacted SONY Online care with the complaint No.[protected] Nov/13),[protected]Nov/13),[protected]Nov/13) Engineer of Service Center BHILAI have examined my TV, as per them TV panel needs replacement which will cost around Rs 42, 000/ (Job Code J:[protected] The panel is not available in INDIA right now as per saying of Service engineer Sir I am Sony follower for last 25yrs but this TV which is an executive class lasts only 2yrs 1months & TV display panel gets faulty although it was installed by Sony engineer & I followed each & every instructions as per operating manual Sir kindly make arrangements to change my TV set / display panel in nominal cost & I believe that SONY will not get its brand image get damage & will rectify it as early as possible with free/minimal cost Sir in such high end executive class TV if panel is not functioning properly Samsung INDIA replaces with the new TV set & I hope the same from SONY INDIA Sir I want top executives of SONY INDIA to consider my case & make arrangements to provide a new TV with similar specifications, after all nobody buys TV worth Rs 1, 56, 000/ every day I believe & trust in brand SONY & hope that my believe is maintained SONY is an international brand & I want it to remain market leader in TV SONY will not want its name spoiled in sake of me( a die hard follower of SONY ) & lots of valuable customers worldwide Hoping quick & appropriate action in my matter Regards Dr HARSHAVARDHAN Cell No [protected]

                          My self a DOCTOR by profession, my wife an EXECUTIVE MAGISTRATE in Govt of Chattishgarh & my 10 yr old son purchased a high end, top class, most costlier TV model KDL-46HX925AF1 from authorized dealer SHYAM ENTERPRISES BHILAI on 17/10/2011 by cash payment of Rs 156000/-.We were the only purchaser in BHILAI of this high end model
                          Sir, now there is horizontal lines appearing in Display Panel of my TV for which I contacted SONY ONLINE CARE with Complain No: 16723755, 16742864, 16756906 & Emailed in SONY CARE with Complain No:16756906, 16766592 .The Engineer of Service Center BHILAI in response with above complain have examined my TV & as per them TV DISPLAY PANEL which is heart of Led TV is faulty & needs replacement which will costs around Rs 42000/ Job Code is J32376217 by Electro Scan BHILAI .The Panel is not available in INDIA & have to be imported from outside this is what the service engineer told me
                          SONY means quality, I think each & every product is quality assured & tested vigorously;although there may be rare exceptions & I think my product is one of them
                          Sir, I have been a SONY follower for last 25 yr using its product but this TV which is a high end executive class lasts only 2 yr 1 month & TV display gets faulty, although it was installed by SONY engineer & I followed each & every instructions as per operating manual. I was not told for additional 2 yr exteneded warranty by my dealer
                          Sir, Kindly make arrangements to change my TV set / display panel free / nominal cost & oblige me .I think that SONY INDIA will not get its brand image spoiled & will rectify it as early as possible
                          Sir, In such high end executive class TV costing above Rs 1.5 Lakhs, if Display panel is not functioning properly in such short duration arch rival SAMSUNG INDIA replaces the TV with new one without any delay & I hope the same from SONY INDIA
                          Sir, my family members are going through deep mental stress as no assurance is given to me by SONY HEAD OFFICE in spite of repeated complains & E Mails, the only assurance is from area service head saying I am his prestigious customer who owns such a high end TV of Rs 1.5 Lakhs in BHILAI & he will talk to superiors to make me satisfy
                          Sir, I want top executives of SONY INDIA to consider my case & make arrangement to provide a new TV with similar specifications, after all nobody buys TV worth Rs 1.5 Lakhs everyday, any amount to be paid extra if required for it I am willing for it
                          SONY is a brand leader internationally & I want it to maintain it . SONY will not spoil its relation with me & lots of valuable customers worldwide

                          I have purchased KDL 40EX 720 Sr No 2426947 from Suyog Prasad Digital Sadashiv Peth, Tiak road Pune on 2nd Oct 2011. I purchase this high end product in the view of the name and quality of Sony Product. But after 8 days back it is having the problem of picture quality -Double images. After complaining on toll free number and I was promised to offer service by paying xxxx amount with in 2 days But after a week no body turn up. This is disappointed to me for poor product as well as service quality

                            Sir, Being a regular customer of sony we used to trust your brand's products. Kindly Pay Attention to my issue with Laptop. I am owing a Sony Vaio with model number SVE14A15FNH and Serial Number 939. It was bought on[protected] and Since then i have not seen even a single day without problem. I have a 2 year extended warranty with this laptop and there are few major issues that are mentioned below 1. Screen Distortion:- Screen gets distorted and becomes like a old black and white television without cable connection with unbearable Sound. 2.During this distortion when the power supply gets unplugged then the laptop gets dead and even if the power supply is not connected and the problem occurs then connecting the charger cause the same dead condition. 3.Many time i have taken it to sony service center and they just make fool o[censored]s all the time.They keep the laptop for even 10-15 days and when i get it back the problem persist.Being a Proffessional i can not afford such kind of problems with my laptop and even i do not expect such cheap servive and product from Sony itself. 4. PFA some screen shots of Screen problem and also the job sheet of the service centers on which this laptop has been taken to since i had bought this technical junk. 5.I expect a positive response from your side regarding this concern.Either you provide a genuine solution or replace my laptop otherwise i will not be responsible for the steps taken against your company.                               I purchased Sony Vaio Ultrabook SVD11213/B SNO 000552 vide invoice No: MES/GIP/12-13/8822 on 31/03/2013 with extended warranty & had to be given for repairs because it stopped working on 14/10/2013 at Jaypee Electronics Sector-2 Noida vide Job No: J31954030. Since that I visited the service center 3 times & evert time I was told that the machine is with HO & will come 3-4 days. However I contacted 3 time to customer care & written more that 8 mails & only 2 were replied with same answer that it will be ready in 3-4 days.                                 Hello sir/madamI have purchased TV model no Sony LCD/LED 61cm KLV-24R402A from Chroma retail on 20/10/2013Then I have registered the call log for installation & demo 5-6 times but until did not get installed.For your ref. request id s are as 16630118, 16485359, 16441216, 16630118, 16708938.Even i have send a complain mail ref id 16659204 dated on 14.11.2014, but did not get any responce from yourside.Instead of this I have also called to your customer care min 10 to 15 times but they are also not resolved this issue.I am very frustrated from your service because I am not getting any help from your side.Even you provide wrong contact numbers of service engineer/service agencies.You tell me where should i go for resolving this minor issue.I am away from home, my leaves was over and i came back to work, and my mom is alone at home.even i am unable to take help of local service engineer.If you cannot handle such a minor issue then how i believe on you that you will provide help on any technical assistant.My home is 20km away from city centre, its well-connected, (transportation), 24 hrs power is available, then why are you unable to provide service, I don’t know.
                                 If you cannot provide service then why do you tell lie to customer. Did you make any promise that 'you will not provide any help to me?'I would like to inform you that if i did not get installed tv within a week, i will sent it back to your company. Because its waste for me if i purchaseed it and did not get start it for almost 1 month.

                                  1 year and 11 months back, i was so proud to own a Sony LED 40" by paying a hefty 60k. Today, i regret why i bought a Sony product. The TV is not even 2 years old, but 80% of the screen is filled with green and pink lines. The service provider told to change the whole panel and might cost around 8k to 10+k. Is that seriously what Sony can offer? Selling TV that are very expensive, by promising that the TV will work without any issues at least for 5+ years. What's the point of buying such a product where i need to again spend 10+k to service, no guarantee the problem will not arise again. Now, i get the point why you people give just one year warranty, so that you guys can play the safe game ?

                                    I purchased Sony LED TV 40 inches model KLV 40EX 430 from E-MAX Dubai UAE on Invoice No CCINV /[protected] dated 27th April 2013 arrived India on 5th May 2013. Suddenly on 13th Oct.2013 the screen become black, immediately complaint was lodged to call centre of Sony. On 13 Oct13 first complaint launched and allotted the authorized service center J.P Electronics in Vaishali GZB. Complaint no: 16061217 15 Oct engineer visited and diagnosed that display panel problem and told to send the email on service center email id (jp.vaishali.[protected]@gmail.com cc to sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com for approval from Sony due to internationally purchased TV It took 9 days to take approval after making numerous calls to customer care center & service center. On 24 Oct approval granted. From 24th till 9th of Nov.2013, We are constantly following up customer care center & service center to get the work done but they keep on replying that we are waiting for the part as takes time as it has to be imported from Bangkok or Singapore as soon as it will arrive we will take led for repair. Here I want to invite your attention the same model is available in India. On 9th of NOV got the impressive discount scheme by Sony that on purchase of new LED TV we will offer you 25% discount on total cost. Then what is the value of warranty given by a world known company. Till today they are forcing me to accept this offer. I am asking you what your opinion about this offer is? Im fed up of my repeated call at call centre, I am sending you the dates /time and the name of persons to who attended the calls. .                                     I too am having the same issue and they are not replacing the TV, but asking me to purchase another TV after paying the difference.

                                    Did you manage to resolve your issue? I plan to take this to the consumer court.

                                      Dear Sir/Ma'am, I want to lodge a complaint against Sony. I purchased a DVD + 5.1 Home Theater System From Sony Company before 1.5 Years. M.R.P. - 8960/- After 1.5 Years system is not working properly and I sent it to Authorized Service Station of Sony. Service Station charged me 9650/- for maintenance and repairing. So, I asked for explanation how's that possible Service Charges are greater than M.R.P. But still I didn't got any reply from them. Will wait for Positive Response.
