Dear Sir,

(i) I had booked for the travel of my 8 family members from Delhi - Rishikesh & Back via UPSRTC Volvo Bus against MMT
Booking ID NU[protected], NU[protected], NU[protected] & NU[protected].

(ii) Whilst Booking, the MMT site showed lower price payable for the booking before payment page but collected higher price
through debit to my Amazon Pay Wallet & ICICI Credit Card Account.

(iii) A total of Rs 1079/- was collected by MMT in excess as against the aggregate of the price shown before payment page.

(iv) My complaint with the details of excess amount collected alongwith relevant screenshots of MMT showing price payable before the payment stage were emailed to MMT at [protected]@makemytrip.com on 6th Jun, 10th Jun & 11th Jun 2019.

(v) However, each time I got an instant automated response from MMT asking me to chat instead of email. However, there is no provision in their automated chat system to log any complaint of overcharging.

(vi) Till date, there is no response from MMT to my email complaints as well.

(vii) Collecting excess paytment as against price shown prior to booking and then not accepting any customer complaints amount to deliberate cheating, not expected of service providers like MMT.

(viii) Requested to look into the matter and arrange to refund me the excess amount of Rs 1079/ collected by MMT.

Till date, I have not heard anything from MMT on the issue, despite more than 2 months having elapsed since the complaint.

    Gentlemen,
    With respect to cab booking NC[protected], please note that we neither received SMS or e-mail for driver details on registered details on MMT. Surprisingly, driver got traveller's details and he called up directly to traveller's registered booking cell phone number ([protected]) with MMT. In this regard, we have specific complaints as hereunder.
    1. NO SMS for driver details within 02 hour of scheduled journey.
    2. NO OTP received prior to start journey on registered cell number made during booking.
    3. No customer support on toll free number[protected]. Upon several contacts, commercial ADs regarding cricket used to be heard on phone.

    4. Most importantly, No surety about driver's identity and whatsoever fair he may asked upon journey finish.

    Please treat this case on urgent basis.

      Hi Team,

      I am a customer of MakeMyTrip. I demand a refund of the payment i have done for a holiday package (19000Rs) . Here is the case information for your understanding, ready carefully (I have observed without reading, makemytrip reply on the mails)

      I have booked a Holiday package- NL[protected], for Leh Ladakh on Friday- 07 June 3:12 pm with Anmol Kumar - An executive from MMT (Anmol.[protected]@makemytrip.com)

      Mr. Anmol have sold the package to me, he explained all the benefits of the Trip booked from MMT including saying : " You can change the dates of the package if due to some reasons you can not travel on the booked dates - This service is not provided by any of our competitors" and customer service is no.1 from MMT”

      I believed on his words and booked my first ever holiday package from MMT.

      11th June, 2019
      Due to some reasons I wont be able to travel on the booked dates, Then i raised a concern of date change to Anmol, I have mailed him many time to call me back on 11Th June, 2019 but he was on off so he could not connect with me which i got to know when i called in your call center. In your call center i had a word with - Pawan Singh – Sr. Executive - Holidays Operations and shared my concern, he did not informed me to provide the concern in written mail so that he can take action, he simply asked me few details and told me that he will take action .
      12th June, 2019
      On 12 th June, Anmol spoke with me and said : i need to write a mail and only after a written mail they will take 24 hours to resolve the issue .
      I patiently waited for 24 hours i did not receive any response. I got back to anmol for the status update.Than i got a email reply from Pawan Singh – Sr. Executive - Holidays Operations- saying that the holiday package is not available for 22 June, which was not my demand, he himself thought that i need in June. I clarified on the same mail thread that my preferred date is 4th August not 22 june, please tell me about 4th August.

      After 12 June, i tried reaching out to Pawan Singh – Sr. Executive - Holidays Operations many times on mail but no reply from his side.
      12th June – 15th June 2019
      I write back to anmol to resolve the issue but he is helpless as the date change department is different, now from 11th June to 15Th June : i am still waiting for the response and quite frustated that even i am thinking to cancel the trip itself.

      If this kind of services are provided by MMT than GOD knows if something happened at high altitude than how your services will be . I do not trust any more MakeMyTrip services so i want to cancel the trip itself.
      In between I have many calls with MMT customer care executives(check records in your system), but everytime they kep asking for 24-48 hours, after every 48 hours they say again give us 24-48 hours to resolve the issue. Even the executive cut the phone many time because they did not have words to explain this 48 hours policy violation or when I asked to speak with someone senior they kept on hold for a long time and rhen say no one is available, a senior will call you back in half an hours which never happened.
      MMT think a customer is upper free to have 100 calls with their employees and still wait for the solutiom, suck your services!!

      I had a word with Anmol to cancel my trip and process the refund, he said according to policy no refund will be given. He again asked for 24 hours to solve the issue, seriously this is how you resolve the issues by making a customer fool, because the customer has paid and they are left with no option other than tolerate your nonsense!!

      Now i have few points here:
      1. According to policy, MMT take 24-28 hours to resolve the issue from 11th june to 15th june - 120 Hours - issue is same : even after 50-100 calls with MMT customer support no outcome . Who will take care of this policy . Why this policy is not taken so seriously like norefund policy is taken .
      2. At your end policy violation is accepted but if it comes to customer refund than MMT is very STRICT about policies.

      I have lost interest in the TRIP and on the services provided by MMT, so think again and refund my intial payyment that is 19000rs otherwise i do not mind to drag this case to consumer court!

      It is hardened earned money not like you guys by faking the business!!

      I had booked a cab for Delhi on MMT ( Booking ID - NC[protected] ). The MMT team had send a private cab person, who was not wearing seat belt while driving and upon seeing the traffic police he applied sudden break due to which their was some breakdown and he dropped my guest Midway at Karnal bypass Kindly take an immediate action on this .

        Hi sir
        I was booking trip for ooty and did my first installment payment of 14520 to make my trip and got message also of receiving. But booking was not done they said me it was some error and i will get refund in 3 to 5 working days but its been 8 days and there are just not replying me properly and just keep saying wait or they just tranfer call saying is the concern of that department then again change my call to other

        Im realy in problem and need refund of my money sir.kindly help me

          We have booked BUS Service from Makemytrip for Mathura to Lucknow
          (Booking Date : 04 June 2019 Travel Date : 08 June 2019 Pick UP Time : 06:55 PM).We had received SMS from Amar Travel at 15:23 PM on 08 June 2019 that the BUS delayed by 90 Min.(copy enclosed).We called and discussed with amar bus services at same time, they confirmed the same and we planned accordingly to reach pick-up points. Again we called many times to Amar Bus Service at +91-[protected] /[protected] to reconfirm bus arrival timings, they told us to wait at pick-up point for sharing Driver/Conductor contact nos.

          We pateintly wait till 08:15PM at Rai Cut Yamuna Express Way, but they didn't resond to share Bus Driver contact no., after all we called to MMT Customer care and had a long discussion with MMT Customer care executive, they told that bus has been cancelled and there were no prior information.Even MMT Customer care person told me they only can refund such amount and cannot help more than that. Why MMT Customer care not inform us for cancellation of the bus thus they don't have another option why they taking services from Amar Bus.
          We suffer a lot from that crucial condition, My Wife (30Yrs), My Sister (24 Yrs) and My Daughter (03 Yrs) stand at a side on HIGHWAY in night there were no person or vehicle in that desolate area of HIGHWAY.
          We have no option to go back to any other place. There was worst condition we have to take police help to go back the Mathura BUS Stand, and" MMT EXECTUIVE TOLD US SORRY WE HAVE NOT ANOTHER OPTION FOR YOU."

          These MMT guys are only taking your salary to complete office working hrs.
          What we do if any misshappening we face on that time.who will be responsible for that situtation.
          I took help of DAIL 100 to move that location to Mathura Bus Stand had travelled with general bus in midnight with laguage.

          It was very occured position created by you.
          I am very upset from service provide by MMT.

          I will try to lodge a complaint with police if not satisfactory answered by you and post the same on social media.

          When I asked MMT Team (Mr.Sahil -Contact No.+91-[protected]) for refund such travel cost that we beared against urgent booking.
          They stirictly deined that it is out of company policy.

          I suggest to every one do not use MMT Services as they make setting with travel agencies to cancel pre-reserved booking and sell it to other person on higher cost and inform you that the Bus has been cancelled.

          Dear Sir,

          Reference with MMT Booking id NU[protected], I am not satisfied with amount paid by you,
          it was partial Refund of INR 2976.00 while I have claimed INR 6856.00 Whether I have not asked you
          about my flight fare approx 22k from Lucknow to Delhi that we missed after that terrible travelling caused by MMT for bus cancellation without prior information.

          You guys not taking initiative on customer statisfaction and negotiating us on travel cost to save your money.
          It doesn't matter for you, what problems beared by customer after your mistakes, nobody wants to take responsiblilty for the same.

          We request you to please refund balance amount of INR 3800.00.

            I made a initial booking amount to MMT of Rs71000, However over the course of next month, there was an issue in one of the visa documents approval and issue is still pending with MMT for rectification. I received calls from MMT that next instalment is due for payment for Rs 90000. I asked them over mail and calls to give me a confirmation that if Visa issue is not resolved, they will refund my payment as per their refund policies. Instead of providing me any confirmation of any sort . They even lied to me that issue is already resolved and make the payments at earliest. When I confirmed from their Visa team they told me that no the issue is not resolved yet and will take time. When I again contacted MMT The different executives kept delaying the matter . Once Second Instalment date passed, I received a mail that my booking is cancelled and no amount will be refunded now. I want consumer forum to look into the matter and take serious action against the executives who provided false information to get the money extracted and still cancelled the booking. I have all related conversations in mail .

              Dear Sir,

              I booked a Room via MMT Booking ID - NH[protected] for a Single Occupancy Room at RedFox Delhi. I later went on the MMT app to get my booking modified to a Double Occupancy vide New booking ID no NH[protected].

              At no time did the APP mention that my previous booking will be cancelled and will be charged the full amount without any refund. They just stated that there is a difference payable for the modification see the Screen shot attached.

              I am shocked to hear that my total amount of INR 8076 has been deducted and I have been charged to full amount for the New Booking of INR 10268.

              I have lost INR 8076 due to the misinformation of your APP.

              See attached Screenshot it still showing Refund in Process.

              How can you'll now refuse to refund this amount.

              I am a customer of MMT for the past 8 years and sincerely request if you'll can review this matter as this is very bad.

                  I'm Shri Raam Shankar, I have booked a bus ticket to Coimbatore from Chennai. The travel was scheduled on 13.6.19.

                  I have reached the location and I called that concerned travels (MVA) person, he told me that the bus got cancelled.

                  My MakeMyTrip E-Ticket for Booking ID NU[protected]

                  I haven't received any messages, e-mails or calls.

                  I have paid the complete money.

                  Right now I'm standing at the road without knowing what to do.

                  Time is 11.15 pm now

                  I got very much frustrated.

                  I had a call with mymaketrip representative as well

                  I need a convincing compensation from both MakeMyTrip and MVA travels.

                  They are so irresponsible

                    Hi,

                    I had given a wrong review by mistake about Holiday Cottages and Spa, Manali instead of some other hotel which I stayed later. I tried many times to remove the same, but MMT is not allowing. I really wanted to remove that review since the stay in that hotel was really good and review was really bad.

                      I have been using capital finance for making my reservations and i wonder that i dont get any notifications before my due date for the amount i am suppose to pay neither by SMS nor an email. today i paid around Rs 40000 and i surprised to see only 38847 reflecting in my account.                           Make my trip is the worse travel company. I have trapped two times in it. I was willing to book bus ticket from Banglore to Mumbai for 24th June 2019 and when I was at checkout point. Payment was failed and I made the payment again. Payment done and what I have seen the date is changed and was the same date on which I have booked(13th June 2019). There was a rule written in the ticket that if the ticket will be cancelled up to 8 hour before the time of bus non of the money will be refund. It happen with me second time it happen with me one more time when I have booked a hotel in Puri and the date changed unknowingly and my money got waste.That time I thought that it may be because of my mistake but now I am sure it is because of the technical problem with there website so I will suggest everyone not to use this website ever otherwise your money will also sunk.                             I was planning to purchase my tickets for Durga Puja from Bangalore to Kolkata and by mistake I booked it from Kolkata to Bangalore and the return from Bangalore to Kolkata. I realized my mistake next day itself and cancelled the tickets, so I have actually held the tickets for less than 24 hours and what I get in cancelling is a mere 19rs refund.This is extremely disappointing and horrible experience from Make my trips's end.I am a loyal and regular customer for them an act like this would never make me go back to that site anymore and moreover they don't have any customer complaint maid id where in I can register my complaint.

                              I made the booking from MMT for hotel, cab and train. I had a problems since i arrived in the hotel. The hotel pictures whatever they shown on the website is not as per actual. It was unpleasant experience at the time of hotel stay. When i complaint about the same on 09/06/2019 in the morning they promised me that 2000INR travel voucher will be send to my email address which is not yet given.

                              The hotel said after 2 hours that booking has been cancelled in MMT. I arrived at 7 30AM and requested the authorities to check in earlier because my kid was there with me. They denied at 9 30 AM they called and said the booking has been cancelled then i called MMT and after had a word with many executives the issue was resolved.

                              Secondly, I booked the cab early morning it was mentioned i got the message that driver details will be shared from 10AM till 11 20AM thriugh sms. I waited till 11 30AM and there was no sms. When i called MMT the person told me if cab will not be arrange they will cancel and issue the voucher. MMT always tried to bribe the customers but not overcome with the plesant journey and response.

                              Thirdly, I booked the train tickets and it was WL, When it was confirmed the seats allotted was all different places. I dont have the chance to cancel the ticket at the end of the day. The journey was 11 hours we 2 shared same seat in the night in order to reach the destination.
                              I dont know whether i will trust MMT for anything more or not. It was unpleasant experience i had in the trip.
                              I had problems earlier with MMT whenever i booked the vacations, holidays from them.

                              No resolution on the complaint till date since 28 june
                              Sir I had booked a room at hotel tashila in manali and payments were done online via card details but no rooms were available and no refunds were available. Its irritating as i have paid for the room.
                              I have booked my hotel at 8:30 pm and i have paid rupees 3147.

                                I tried booking domestic hotel on 1st june through MMT app. Booking did not take place but money was deducted from my bank account. Got a single call from customer care same day stating it will come back in 4 working days. Its been 12 days but still i have not got refund. None of helpline is reachable.

                                  I am Sandeep kaur, I did a booking today in Kasauli at Dev Villa hotel but I just wanted to cancel it due to not finding the location and due to heavy rain.However, I called 6 times to request your team to help me out or refund me back, Every time they put my call on hold then transfer my call and harass me for 3 hours. I haven’t even checked in hotel due to this bad experience with MMT people they are not helpful, non-cooperative and harrased me alot.As I am very old customer of yours and using it from last 5 years bt now onwards I will never ever use it and I will stop my links to use it because of bad experience otherwise please refund my money back.

                                        Flight for Delhi-Kullu via chandigarh on 24.06.19 was booked. Flight from delhi to chandigarh was cancelled and my seat was rescheduled from 5.40 am flight to 11.15 am flight which created misconnection from connected flight. On contacting MMT I was redirected to Air India instead of providing any solution. (Bad experience no. 1) with personal efforts could get matter resolved and got ticket in 6.45 am flight. I requested MMTthrough customer care to mail me reissued ticket. MMT responded promptly and sent me two mails but instead of appending reissued confirmed tickets, they sent me old cancelled tickets each time. (Bad experience no. 2) Is it the kind of service expected from a travel agency? Very sad and annoyed.
