I made the bookings for my husband using makemytrip website on 14th february 2019.
I put in all the details and verified the same for correctness.
Once the ticket was booked i checked the name and noted that the login name was picked up as the traveller name onto the flight ticket.
I tried calling makemytrip customer service and updating the same however the site asks to connect with the airlines to update the name and the airline suggests that the names cannot be changes as per the policy.
Due to a bug on the makemytrip site which picks up the login name instead of passenger name i have lost about 7000rs.

    Make my trip provides refer and earn policy. According to which a person gets Rs. 100 as experience voucher + Rs. 300 as my cash, when the person who is referred completes his first trip using Make my trip app. I refferd my friend to download make my trip app. He downloaded the app and i got experience voucher of Rs. 100 later on he travelled to pune using make my trip app. After his trip i was suppose to get Rs. 300 in my cash.
    I did not got any response from make my trip on this issue.

      Make my trip is harassing me as follows :
      1. Earlier i have booked shakun hotel and resorts from 29.12.2018 to 01.01, 2019 and paid rs. 32, 063.00. |on inquiry from said hotel it was intimated that the hotel is closed. It is not understood how the said hotel was booked? And invoice was send for rs.10, 975.00, (Copy enclosed).
      2. Same was informed to and shakun hotel & resorts was booked for rs, 10975 in lieu of that, and only rs. 6, 600.00 was refunded in place of 21, 088.00 (32, 063.00 - 10, 975.00). As per their guidance i have cancelled that hotel on line. On inquiry, it was intimated that the shakun hotel & resorts booking was not cancelled as such no refund will be made. The matter was referred to you and only 10, 000.00 was again refunded without and details.
      3. Again i have booked trip to rajasthan from 23.03.2019 to 30.03.2019, against booking id nl[protected], dt. 10.01.2019, and invoice as net package price rs. 38, 399.00 was received after payment of rs. 10, 000.00. As per payment schedule. I have requested to amend/prep on my journey to rajasthan trip to 19.03.2019 from 23.03.2019. Same was agreed and intimated that the hotel paradise, jaipur is unable to prep on the date, the same was cancelled and rs. 6, 500.00 will be adjusted from the last/balance payment of rs. 19, 199.00. I have booked hotel arco, jaipur and paid 6, 199.00 from 19.03.2019 t021.03.2019 as intimated, i have paid rs.9, 199.00 as second installment on 02.02.2019 (Due date 13 feb 2019). After long request to send the fresh payment schedule, mmt has send fresh invoice by changeing the amount and asking me to pay about 54, 00.00 in place of rs.19, 199 - 6, 500 = 12, 699.00 (Copy enclosed). The reason best known to them. I have requested many time to review, but till date nothing has been done. This is that mmt is delaying intensely to grab my first installment by cancelling my trip. I have requested many time to intimate, for taking early action to continue or not. This is a clear case of harrasement and cheating by mmt. Thanks

      Further, in reference to your first complaint regarding your hotel booking, we have found that the hotel was closed however, the did not close their inventory due to which the hotel got booked at our end. Also, as checked, our team has provided the alternate hotel and post your consent have processed refund of Inr 6160 & 10000/- along with a future travel voucher worth Inr 5000/-.
      Regarding the other issue with your package booking, there was a change of date due to which there was a change in total payable amount. Please be advised no incorrect amount was charged from our end.

      It is unfortunate to note that your recent experience with us has not been up to your satisfaction.

      We hope this matter will not prejudice your view of Make My Trip and we look forward to assisting you with your future travel plans.

        My Daughter Akhila, booked a Room thru your site in OYO 16744 (LIVE IN CASTLE), Booking ID is NH[protected], Check in date was 08/02/2019 Friday @ 12.00. We reached there at 12.00 but they won't be able to provide the Room for us, waited up to 16.00 Hrs and the provided a Single bed Room for us. But we rejected the same and obtained another Specified Room in Other Hotel @ Bangalore.

        This we have informed you and OYO Peoples at the same time. Regret to inform you that you were not interested to refund the amount which we had paid thru Internet Banking. Hence we may compelled to approach any Consumer Court for obtaining the same.

        Your early action in regard will be appreciated.

          This is regarding my dubai return ticket oe1tua booked through make my trip. I am very disappointed with the airfare paid. I realized that i have paid costliest fare for the spicejet flight booked. This ticket was available at other sites at less than rs. 13000 and other credit card offers are also there. I have booked my ticket 69 days before flight still i have paid highest fare due to choosing make my trip for my booking. I was charged rs. 899 as convenience fee which is also unfair. I am very unhappy with make my trip fare and will give double thought before booking my trips through make my trip in future.

              Hi all,

              I am an active member of mmt double black plan. Would like to cancel the ticket as per active membership of above mentioned plan and as per make my trip terms and conditions for this plan, my booking is covered under eligibility criteria. However mmt agent have tried to manipulate the terms and conditions verbally on call and forcefully in rude manner made me to accept their manipulated statements which were not mentioned in t&c of plan.
              I have raised my query on twitter as well. However i got call back immediately and agents forcefully did repeat same as usual. And they did not mention anything on twitter about resolution. On twitter they have just given assurance. However in backend their executives over call are same rude and forcefully manipulating statements of t&c.

              Tlin terms and conditions it's clearly mentioned i should have same registered email which i used for booking and used for mmt double black plan. No where its mentioned in t&c that previous booked tickets are not eligible, under eligibility list.

              Kindly take appropriate action on this.

                My name is prashant omer.
                I made a booking for visa for singapore on 06th feb 2019 and paid rs. 2076.
                As per instructions i waited for an agent to call from mmt to provide details for additional documents required and courier address to send documents for the process.
                Next day 07th feb 2019 at the edge of working day time 7:55 pm i received a call from an agent name santosh singh (Santosh. [protected]@makemytrip.com) from mmt visa team, gurgaon, the agent handling my file, who was in quite hurry at the moment and refused to listen to my word and just imposed the sentences in unclear voice and sent me an email with incomplete information, which doesn't has the clear instruction for documents and additional documents required for local contact/concent/invitation letter formats or account statement related queries. Even there was no contact number of his service desk was provided to contact him directly in case of requirement.
                I sent reply email just in 1 hour after i received his email to provide me details and documents format.
                I am contacting customer care continuously but unable to reach to him.
                But it's been more than 24 hours and i haven't received any response from him neither on call nor on email.
                The agent is so busy to even attain and respond in email and queries of customers for whom they have been given the responsibility.
                If the agent was in so hurry then he might have called me on 8th feb, but this kind of behavior shows how poor service mmt is providing to it's customers.

                  Hi team,

                  I am sending this email because i have not received my money back. I have booked flight ticket through flipkart app on 29th jan, however amount was deducted from my account but ticket not generated.

                  Flipkart guys confirmed that transaction was successful and all flight query has to be taken by mmt. Mmt told me on 29th jan 2019 that you will get within 72 hours your money back but no response now. I made so many calls. It is almost 2 weeks now, i felt cheated.

                  Supervisor pooja agrawal and kedar also not helped me much, just told me to wait another 48 hours. How many 48 hours i need to wait.

                  Am attaching the screenshot of my credit card statement. Please note there were two amount pending from mmt side and i have highlighted the transaction as well.

                  4328*2, but in your details it might show you 6131*2.

                  Can someone please take care, my losing confidence on mmt support now.

                    Make my trip is illegally playing with the government taxes and not providing the customers proper invoices for hotels and flight bookings.
                    They charge gst from the customers on hotel booking and then send the invoice without giving breakup of gst charged. The invoice mentions total charges collected on behalf of hotel. No tax breakup is provided.
                    For the flight ticket invoice they mention the gst charged by the airline as different amount and in the same invoice they mention gst amount to the customer different.

                      Mmtwed (Cashback coupon) : inr 1250.0 has not been processed to my axis bank on thu, jan 31, '19 for my roundtrip travel from bangalore to delhi on 13th april. It would have been reflected in 3-5 working days.
                      Mmt customer support told me it is been processed long back on 31st jan 2019 but my axis bank clearly told me that they never got any such transaction reached their server.

                        Sir,
                        We have used makemytrip app to book a hotel sterling resort, agra from 30.1.19 to 31.1.19 and processed the payment. After submitting otp on the payment option, makemytrip app shows `payment failure` room not booked and asked to try again`. When i push the button `try again` they again asked the otp from bank. I submitted the otp again and my room booked.
                        After some time, i received the bank message that money debited twice by the makemytrip.
                        Then i called the customer care of makemytrip and after long long beep and holding call some executive came on the phone and asked about my problem. He told me to hold for some time to confirm from the hotel property, after sometime they told us that your 2 room booked and hotel is not ready to cancel the booking. I told them how can i stay in 2 rooms, then he told me that after your check out 1 room show ` no show` and we process your refund after consulting my management.
                        After that they never picked up my phone and disconnected my calls so many time.
                        Please help me to get my money refunded.

                          I nikki bharti booked hotel galaxy in aligarh on 25 jan 2019 on the name of dilip singh through make my trip app and pay rupees 14127 by debit card no [protected]. Within a minute hotel is booked giving booking id - nh[protected]. But due to some reason i cancelled it within 10 minutes after booking but till i didn't get refund. Please do the needful.                             Booking id:nf[protected]. Spicejet pnr:r6hp4f (Tir to hyd) dated 29 jan 2019.16.40 hrs was cancelled by spicejet as flight was delayed for more than 5 hours. The spicejet customer care informed that refund is forwarded by them to makemytrip. But makemytrip customercare ph numbers are not working. There is no window in the makemytrip app regarding refund. The help window in the app is of no use. I have sent a mail to makemytrip but ithere is no response. This is riduculous.

The same should reflect in our account within 5-7 working days depending upon your bank processing cycle.

                              On 4th feb 2019, i booked 2 rooms in dreams apartment, powai, mumbai based on the photos in mmt website of spacious room, dining table, sofa sets in hall, well cleaned bath room for 5 adults of my friend's family for inr 19950/- for which full payment was taken in advance by mmt.

                              My friend was suppose to reach mumbai at 10 pm on 4th. As i am living in mumbai, i thought of to a have visit at that property, after my office hours before their arrival.

                              To my surprise, there is no building by name dreams apartment in the location which was mentioned in the booking voucher and i found very difficult to tace that location with the help of a shopkeeper in the vicinity. The said property is functioning in trinity chs, powai. When i contacted the care taker he took me to a worst filthy apartment having 1 room kitchen and said that is the room which i booked. I couldn't found any, sofa set, cleaned bath room nothing. I started shouting and he said will show another flat which is a one bed room hall kitchen. That was also in he same condition. I never gave up but shouted at him, finally he took me to a 3 bed room apartment, where i found all the furniture pictured in the site.

                              But to my disappointment he said he could allot only one bed room in that as the other two rooms are already occupied by some other guest.

                              I informed my friend the situation and the whole team stayed on 4th night in a near by town by name chiplun, as they are on the way to mumbai from goa.

                              Being betrayed by mmt by posting attractive photographs of he property while booking, citizens are requested take care while booking this type of poor service apartments for an exorbitant rate.

                                I bought an air ticket on Make my trip from Canada to India for 53000. Instead of air Canada site, I booked the same flight on making my trip. They have empty space on cancellation charges space while booking and after booking. I had to modify the date and they have not responded over chats or facebook. They said 96000 for new flight if I change the date when flight charge on that date is 58000. Air Canada the flight site is giving the complete refund for the same flight if canceled before 24hrs. I have shown the same details with image and have asked why cancellation policy is empty in my booking. They don't have any answer except we cannot give a complete refund. I got fed up and canceled my flight and they took 20 thousand rupees giving me 34000. I followed on it for 2 weeks and they lagged it saying the manager is not available and giving vague responses. It is a clear fraud. I want to know why they changed me 20000 when the actual airlines Air Canada is not charging anything for cancellation before 1 month and them not having any policy saying 20000 charges in their booking or anywhere in the website. Also, they have changed flight prices fo my account after this incident. They are high only in my account. It is a clear fraud and I lost 20000 for no reason. I am attaching ticket and air Canada refund policy. I also have emails and their phone conversation recordings.

                                  I had booked my tickets from bangkok to delhi for 31st jan2019 via makemytrip.com as on 20th jan 2019.
                                  I saw the ticket rates on the websites and important information and booked 2 tickets and paid the full amount as well.

                                  Now when i had been returning from bangkok airport as on 31st jan 2019, the airlines authority asked me to give the extra fees for the checkin luggage as the
                                  Same had not been included in my tickets as they showed me the tickets with 0 mentioned under the check-in amount, at that time i had very bad experience
                                  With makemytrip, though usually in there tickets it had never been mentioned to pay the luggage fee separately and also there is no such information they have provided as important information in there tickets as well.

                                  All of sudden, it seems to fraud to me as well, there were even no updates on there whatapps channel or via any email on this as well related to such 0 checkin bookings as well.

                                  So as a customer, based on my experience i would suggest to everyone that never booked any tickets for any international travel from makemytrip in the future as they will be hiding the important information and booked the tickets by just showing rates on there websites

                                    I booked a return air ticket from kolkata to new jersey vide booking id number nn[protected] after paying a sum of rs.54417/- on wednesday january 30, 2019. To my utter shock and surprise i received an email from one mr. Gautam tiwari, an executive of the portal that i would be receiving a full refund of the amount as make my trip was not in a position to fulfil the promised contract and deliver my ticket. I immediately protested and demanded interest and compensation for losses incurred by me for booking afresh.
                                    The fares for the same flight have now increased and the portal is yet to refund any amount or redress my grievance.
                                    I would request you to kindly take up the matter and help me and also other potential future victims of the this fraudster make my trip. Thanks

                                      To give you brief description about the issue, on the evening of 29th jan 2019 i received an sms from mmt stating flight booking has been made and the details are so and so. But i never made this booking from my end. So i immediately called up the customer care and told them about the concern. I was assured that i will not be liable to anything to anyone. Also, the customer support representative told me that we have spoken on a recorded line and this would act as proof. I immediately changed my password so that there are no fraudulent transactions repeated. But today, i see there is a email from indigo airlines sending me the credit note of 6400. When i checked my mmt app there is a option of mmt travel finance and when i click know more option, it says upcoming payment 7622 which i’m totally not getting. What is this payment and why is it reflecting in my account?
