This is about Tikona network. Let me put it pointwise:
1. I wrote on 18/09/2015 that your connection is not working for the past 3-4 days, please look into the matter (I have the email)
2. I wrote again on 24/10/2015 that connection is still now working. I got an auto-reply (1-[protected]) that within 72 hours they will contact me.
3. On 26/10/2015, I got this email -
Dear Mr. ARVIND BHATE,

With reference to the complaint no. 1-[protected], we were trying to reach you on your mobile no. [protected] which is registered with us but you were not reachable.
(They were the only one who could not contact me while I was receiving calls from all over the country)
4. On 28/10, I wrote this email:
This has reference to the following Tikona connection: [protected] in the
name of Arvind Bhate located at

(My address here)

You are requested to immediately DISCONNECT / DISCONTINUE my connection
as I have already paid full and final amount of Rs. 1, 000 to Mr. Deepak
Sharma (Cell: +[protected]. This gentleman had come to collect the money.

I am considering that this connection is now fully paid, and hence
discontinued with this email.
5. On 28/10 I get this from j.[protected]@tikona.in:
Please write to us from Registered Email Id (REI).
To find your registered email id, please log on to https://selfcare.tikona.in and go to subscriber profile.
Provide your 10 digit User Id.
Provide Docket/Reference number (Service Request Number when you register your grievance at Tikona Customer care)
6. On 28/10, I also get this from [protected]@tikona.in:
Dear Customer,
We thank you for writing to us.
Your online request number is 1-[protected].
This is an auto-generated response to confirm that we have received your email. Kindly do not respond to this mail.
Your email will be attended within the next 72hrs through a call or email.
Blah, blah, blah
7. After this email, I wrote this:
Subsequent to this email, I spoke to someone at (so-called) customer
care of Tikona for immediate disconnection of Tikona connection.

The request number recd from the telephonic conversation from my regd
mobile no 7^&^& $%$%$ at 11.00 am on 28 Oct 2015 is 1-[protected]

This is to keep you informed about the final payment and the settlement.

8. I get this again from the same old j.[protected]@tikona.in

Dear Customer,

This is an auto-generated response. Kindly do not respond to this email.

In reference to your appeal dated 28th October 2015.

Appellate Authority will not be able to consider your appeal dated 28th October 2015, as notified in the Telecom Consumers Complaint Redressal Regulations, 2012 issued by TRAI dated 05.01.2012.
Please note the following:
1. The complaint docket no. 1-[protected] provided by you is in progress with Complaint Center and is within the SLA, therefore the appeal cannot be registered in line with TRAI regulation.
2. In case the complaint remains unaddressed or no intimation of redressal of the complaint is received within the specified period by the Complaint Centre or complaint docket number has exceeded the SLA of three days the complainant can approach the Appellate Authority with the Docket number.

There will not be anyone in our house after 3-4 days, as we are shifting from here. Once having left from here, local police will be informed about any trespassing.

14. On 20/11, I recd this:
This is a system generated Email, please do not reply to this mail. Kindly refer to the customer care details provided in the mail below.

15. And the bomb failed on me on 30/12, when I received an invoice for payment from these useless guys.
16. On 03/03/16, I recd an outstanding notice from them.
17. Again on 30/04, outstanding notice
18. Ditto on 01/06, the same notice
19. Same story on 29/07
20. Unpaid bill email again on 31/08
21. Again on 01/10
22. Finally, a demand notice from [protected]@tikona.in on 17/11
23. Bill collection email again on 30/11
24. 30/12 - outstanding amount
25. 31/01 - outstanding amount

26. And just now, I received a threatening call from a goonish voice regarding a fax notice having been sent to Indore SP for my arrest!!! And the phone number is +[protected].

NOT to gain sympathy from you readers, I am a severe heart patient, having barely survived heart arrest / failure couple of years back.

I am not sure, what to do next???

Today I again received a call from [protected] (female voice) threatening me with dire consequences of a court case in Tees Hazari court, New Delhi. They are still talking about pending amount of Rs 1, 100. Can anything be done about these thugs?

    I have closed my tikona connection(Customer ID - [protected]) in October 2015 and paid all the due amount that time. Still I was getting the bill charge by tikona, so called customer care in January 2016 and requested them close this immediately.

    But no one take that seriously and now collection department is calling me and giving me threats for legal notice.

    I want to inform you that i have all the bills and which i paid as well as mail of connection closer request.

    Yes, I have all the doc and email from the tikona where i had requested for disconnection. Today, got email from them saying that your connection is terminated because of the non payment of the due amount. The funny part is that I had requested them for disconnection.

    I am planning the legal action against them surely.

      This is with reference to the internet bill I received on my mail id for the month of August by Tikona. My internet plan was of 3 months only starting from May to the end of July 2016. And after July my internet access was disabled. So, I never used any data in the month starting from August and never asked to renewal of the plan without my prior approval.

      I received around 50 calls from Tikona for the payment of internet service which i never used and they are harrashing me for making the payment.
      I received call from this no. ([protected]) and he was talking very rudely to me and he will come to my premises to collect the money.

        I am pratik bodra my id is [protected], i have been repeatedly calling to the customer care for discontinuation of my internet but the are not doing so and they keep the call on waiting and this has happened thrice.also as our plan was over by the time and without any further renewal request they have renewed the plan without any request and also we have not used your internet as we had removed the cable from the wifi router so there is no possibility o[censored]sage of your internet in the mean time we had taken some other internet providers service. so without our request to renew you should not have renewed the plan and than ask for further money which you are asking to pay. i is clear crystal that i have not requested to renew nor received any call of renewal so it was clear that we did not required your service further, so on what basis you are asking for money of renewal and than fake calling at our home and harrasing for payment also threatning us to go to court and threating on phone call. i request you to stop calling us orelse we shall have to go to consumer forum for your complain. so stop calling and harrasing us as it is none of our mistake

          This is regarding the irresponsible behavior of TIKONA. Yesterday I was attempting one of the online papers which I bought. In between, twice the tikona connection went off which ruined 1 hour 40 mins of paper solving (as I tried attempting it twice, but could not complete as there was no network). At the same moment I called TIKONA to give an update on their stupid network. What I heard from them did not surprise me. I found that they have closed all the previous complaints and have registered a new one.

          Today, I got many calls from them, one for the confirmation of "current status" of connectivity. The lady annoyed me so much, that I had to disconnected her call. Second call which I received was the proof of shamelessness of the team, as this call was an automated one claiming that my issue has been resolve. When I called them back, I got to hear that their stupid technicians are still working on the issue. How shameless an organisation can be. Not even a single person is trust worthy.

          Few days back, in a conference was which included tikona executive as well as Jago Grahak Jago executive, a lady from tikona said that she would arrange an engineer visit for the final resolution of the already prolonged issue. But as per the fraud working style of tikona, in there records the engineer has already visited and request has been closed, which I got to know today only. And final call was for bill payment reminder.

            Dear sir how I can register my complaint, there's no proper way to communicate with your customer care.

            Nearly I have tried more then 20times to call your customer service, but there is no proper response



            Actually my problem is, I have installed Tikona broadband on 26/02/3017 and my plan is 6mbps unlimited but my actual speed is 2mbps. Today is 26/03/2017.so far 30 days have completed, from the 1st day we people are trying to contact you and some people are coming from your side to repair the issue, they have not cleared the complaint still.from the customer service they asked to call the guy called harishanker and we people called him but harishanker told that "I am not responsible for that call the customer care again ", he disconnected the call

            I have all of my

            1.invoice bill for paid amount

            2.call recordings of customer care

            3.screen shot of complaints

            4.speed test results

            As a final decision am willing to get this issue to the appellate authority with your knowledge, my detials as follows:

              Dear team,

              I opted for tikona services in the month of april. The request was created a tikona team sent a person to my house for installation. He tried his luck for some time and said that he was not able to get the signals/ping the tower. It was evening and he said that he can not locate tower in the night as the tower needs to be in the direct line. He came back again next day but still could not get the connection. He told me that there are no signals in my area and tikona can not be installed. I let him go.

              Few weeks later, in the month of may/june, i got another advertisement for tikona in my apartment. I called the person and a new request was created. This time he tried to ping the network and got some connection. He asked me to pay 3 months rental in advance. I paid him and my account was activated.

              With in one week, i started facing connection issues which were communicated to tikona team. Tikona team acknowledged and even gave me a waver for the time my connection did not work.

              But the connection issues kept on going and there were some communication issues also regarding the offer i was given at the time of connection. I talked to tikona team about it and they talked me into paying the rental as then told me that they are charging me correct amount.

              I was very frustrated from tikona services but i had already paid 3 months rental in advance. I continued using these services for the time.

              I was told that my billing cycle is from 25th of month. Keeping this in mind, i raised a request in customer care by calling around the same time in september to officially close my account because tikona services were not working fine. My request was escalated to technical team. I got few calls from them and every time they told me that i need to keep my connection open and login periodically. They said that few gbs are added to my account and no charges will be made against this because tikona team is testing the connection and trying to figure out the cause of connection issues. I did what i was asked because i thought it might help other customer in the area.

              Later when i enquired about the connection closure, i was told that i would be charged based on my last login time. I was very surprised with the behaviour of the team and i shut down my router. After the billing cycle, i started getting the emails to pay the bill of more than 600 rs.

              I replied to tikona that i have stopped the connection in september, so i should not be charged. Even then, tikona kept me charging monthly rentals and did not bother to reply or provide me clarification.

              Tikon team did not provide me the services mentioned in the service agreement but are very keen to considering legal proceedings criminal as well as civil against me for not paying amount which you are falsefully charging me.

              Check your record, verify my data usage during the time i had your connection and take a call on this amount.

                Sir/Madam,
                I was having Tikona connection one year before while living in delhi. In feb 2016 I shifted from there and moved to Pune. Before shifting I called tikona people to disconnect my connection, they disconnected it and asked me to leave the device as it is so that their people can collect it later. And I did the same. Even after shifting Pune I contacted them for new connection but they said that they do not have service in my locality. In this duration, I have spoken with their people many time and they confirmed that there is nothing pending from my side.
                Now after one year suddenly last week I got call from (+91-[protected]) number and lady from that side tell me that she is advocate Neha Sharma (Bar Council Number provided from her-M[protected] and calling from Delhi court and Tikona is filing a case on me as I have pending 1800 Rs from my side.
                After this call I sent emails to Tiokna to provide me clarification on this pending amount but they are not replying me. I got auto reply email that my mail id is not registered on their side. When I sent message to reregister it they did not accept my request. Then I called their customer care but every time computer recording from that side said that they will call me back.
                Yesterday also I got call from same number and they threaten me to pay 1800 Rs or else be ready to face them in court.
                Today also I called on above number then she said I used Tikona in month of April’16 and this pending for that usages. But in April I was in US (you can see my passport and visa). Then how I can use this connection?
                Here my question is when I was not living in Delhi how can I use their connection and amount will be pending from my side?
                If something was pending from my side, why they did not tell me when I contacted them for new connection in Pune?
                If something is pending, why they are not proving detail of the same?
                Please take necessary action on this as I am very disturbed and getting threatening calls from them.

                Thanks for you reply and confirmation.

                Here i would like to give you a suggestion to that please inquiry correctly on your side, then first try to contact customer directly if he is having any pending then only go for any legal action if require.

                Please stop giving such threatening call and metal harassment, this may be a regular practice with you but it's very disturbing for people like us. And this is damaging your reputation in market. This is for sure that after this incident I will never ever go with Tikona in my life and not even recommend it to any one.

                In service sector customer satisfaction will be a prime concern and one company can only grow with their customer. Hope you understand this!!

                Same happened to me also. They are deliberately not closing the connection and getting money from the customers.

                  Hello Sir\Madam,

                  With reference to above ID, I had issues with tikona and gave complaint many times but no once solved the issue. also sent an email to "[protected]@tikona.in" on Fri, Oct 21, 2016. I have not received any solution till date. But looks like its just name sake. recently I have received the notice.

                  I had clearly told them, you can solve the issue and I am ready to pay my bill. but instead, they are cheating the people. Even they can check my history and call recording of their customer service team.

                  I would request necessary action to be taken by the govt.

                    I would like to write the issue again if some sincere people are there to understand and provide me the proper resolution for that.

                    I am Chandan Vaishya and my Tikona ID is [protected].
                    First of all I would like to tell you that the kind of behavior recently I have observed with your executive is terrible.
                    The story start 5-6 month before when there were some technical problem with Tikona connection and I was not used the connection properly hence due to that I have not made the payment to Mr, Rangegowda (Tikona Executive) then Mr. Gunashekhar who is the manager had came to my place and promise me that he raised a request and I will get waiver of 250 Rs due to technical issue arises from Tikona, so I made the payment and the same thing continue for next month and it is continuing till date and I did not get waiver off.
                    I got a bill dated 26 March with Bill Nos B[protected] and got completely confused as previous bill dated 26-Feb 2014 I have clear all the amount which was pending however I got the bill of 1720 instead of 999+S.T. So I have not made the payment against the bill dated 26th March 2014. I want to understand the bill before making the payment as I was busy with other thing and could not get the chance to call customer care for the same.
                    On the date 22nd of April your executive Mr. Suresh came to my place to collect the payment and I was not in town, he spoke to my brother and ask for the payment. My brother told he will talk to me and make the payment after rectification of excess charges. But your executive was very rude and told he will take the router and tikona adapter if he is not making the payment to him now.
                    My brother called me and told the entire thing then I spoke to your executive Mr. Suresh and he repeated the same thing over the phone again to me then I told him very clearly that whatsoever belong to Tikona take it if you are authorize to do so and did not have the patient.
                    I was so surprised that he took my personal router and tikona adapter both and given the same in writing to my brother and went.
                    When I back in town on 9th May I called Mr. RangeGowda who gave me the tikona connection and told him the entire story he take the initiative and told he will talk to Mr.Suresh and get sorted out the issue as I was about to large a complaint against this.
                    Finally on 10th Mr. Suresh came and repeated the same thing that you pay me the money I will give you the router back and I have completely denied that and told him once you give me the router then only I will talk you about the payment otherwise you go back and I will large a complaint for the same.
                    After speaking to Mr. RangeGowda he return the router and adapter but still he was in my place to collect the cash from me. I told I will surely make the payment after understanding the bill and I will make the payment online as I did previosly but he was not moving. After some time when RangeGowda came and they both speak finally he went.
                    The same day I called tikona customer care to understand the bill and your executive over the phone assist me and told whatsoever has happen with you are correct or not he is not able to give the proper help which I was looking for and told to send a mail to customer care mentioning all the issue. As my registered mail ID was not working so he gave me the instruction for registering the email id. I registered the new mail Id and sending you the entire detail.
                    I also get to know from phone officer that another bill has been generated and I have to pay additional 1000 Rs (approx).
                    Now can you guys please tell me that Is this the way to collect the payment from customer? Also why should I am getting charged after disconnecting the connection by your executive for non usage that you can also check from your backend since 22nd of April to 10th of May.
                    Please brief me the above and rectify the issue ASAP and also let me know if you guys are not interested to provide the connection back to me so I can look for some other provider.
                    I would like to thanks to Mr. RangeGowda who was really a nice person and good executive.

                        I was user of Bangalore tikona service from July2015 to Jan 2016. Problem started when internet stopped working suddenly and I was no were getting any internet service. In spite of making several calls to customer care they only used to promise to solve the issue but it was never done. I was really frustrated with their Customer service coz I had to keep on calling them, the worst I had ever seen. I call them, they put me on hold this went on for nearly a month or so then I decided to terminate the service and informed to collect their device. But their Rep. told me that device will not be collected back it will remain with customer only as amount of same will deducted from my security deposited at initial.

                        With reference to my request number 1-[protected], which was related to connectivity issue, local technician told that this issue cannot be resolved as it signal fusibility is not possible and only option is to terminate my account. Same I explained to Tikona care and told them to terminate my tikona account, but they were refusing to terminate my account telling me that may be in future if I relocate to another place I can opt for reconnection again. No-way not even to my grand children I will suggest about Tikona service. Even my friend was using the same service he also faced same issues.

                        Refusing to my termination request I just told them to stop my billing, for month of Feb for which I've not used internet service, they generated the bill and sent me mail telling about my bill dues. Why shud I pay for it if I've not used internet. Since the amount remains pending with them now I'm getting harassment call from some UP based advocate (+91 [protected]) threatening me that FIR is charged against me for not paying my due amount.

                        For service usage period mentioned above, my record remains clean and paid my bill at correct time but for Feb2016 they generated they bill which I am not supposed to pay. I just want Tikona service to be terminated at immediate and amount to waived off.

                        Help with this with Spam/threatening calls from Tikona.

                          I have complained to tikona customer care as the technical person came here but he did not done completely regarding solution which is relate to installing problem and at that time i got 3.5= 4mbps all was good but the problem is moderm is not placed good as it is floating due to not proper fixing and when i called relate to solve quary after getting all details with out registering my complain they do cut my calls and makes me irritate.                             I have requested to disconnect internet services provided by Tikona to me on 10th March, 2017 with immediate effect as i am facing issues with internet connectivity and services. i have raised requests many times to resolve issues with connectivity but i didn't see any improvements.
                            during my call with executive, they asked me give them a chance to resolve the issues i am facing. i said its up to them whether to resolve or not but i cleared i don't want their services anymore as i fed up with them. in month of February i didn't even able to use half the allotted data as there are issues with connectivity.
                            I have received one or two calls from Tikona technical team regarding service i made them clear that i don't want service anymore and asked to disconnect my service. they tried to convince me by saying that they will waive off my previous bill. I said i dont mind even they dont return my money but need disconnection.

                            After all these discussions I received a bill amount RS.862.47 for the month of March. without any communication/information regarding my request for disconnection.

                            when i am talking with one of the executive today, he said i have to pay this bill as i raised the cancellation request after 3 days of my billing cycle started. but i haven't been told about this when i raised this request and even there is no internet provided to me during this period.

                            i used tikona services for more than 9 months, even i referred my neighbor to get his connection from tikona.

                            after all this i say i am really unhappy about unprofessional response from tikona. if you want to retain any customer you must give him a value for his money rather than playing these kind of tricks really cost your reputation.
                            i hope being a service organization you care for company reputation.

                            Hence i request to recall the bill sent to me and provide a confirmation on disconnection and no dues.

                              My current plan is BBM4M700. It should provide me with 4 mbps speed, but provides me with somewhere around 400-500 kbps during the daytime and 1-2 mbps speed at the night. It is very difficult to browse at such a slow speed.

                              Also, many a times login page doesn't seem to appear at all even after repeated trials of switching on and of the router. Whenever I file a complaint by calling the customer care, the issue is resolved temporarily, and the very next day the same cycle resumes.

                              It is my humble request to deal with this matter.

                                The Same Story Happend with me :
                                (I paid Rs. 853.23 after and given transaction ID and Gateway ID. After taking payment the so called lawyer said I'm going to file the complain! What's this!)
                                I used the internet services of Tikona for 2yrs. with extremely bad services.But had no choice due to lack of ISP in the area. It was the last 2 months in which I called their customer care for 50+ times but they didn't resolve my issue ( even took full payment without providing any service). Then I called and emailed the company for disconnection request which they didn't take by making excuses of there server issues and started the next billing cycle. They were not ready to settle down which they charged extra without using any data. The connection is disconnected from 7 months but they are Chargin!! I tried contacting many times. But when I initiated my conversation after getting everything clear they just keep me on hold and disconnect the call !!

                                Same Story :
                                Later I got a call from an Advocate Raghubeer Saha from KarKardooma court, Delhi threatening me to pay the bill within 30min. to stop the order of court of making me a defaulter under section 449. n blocking all my Identity proof, to appear in the court and even pay a fine of Rs 85000. Now after finding online the other Tikona forums got to know it was a complete fraud by the company to make me pay the bill (amounting Rs 1750) for the services that I didn't even used. The company is a total fraud they don't provide the services they claim with about an average of 50% days without services. I even have a recorded voice proof of the Advocate calling me.
                                And I've all the data if some authorised person ask for it.

                                    I have found mainly 3 grievances against tikona

                                    1. Very poor services.. Poor connectivity and frequent breakdown... Service engineers lack proper knowledge and punctuality and sincerity

                                    2. Even they charge me for 10 mbps speed, they give me only 3-4 mbps speed. More than 30 times i have emailed them about this "cheating tactics", they don't listen to it and neither give any justification for overcharging..

                                    3. Despite of the fact, i have emailed more than 7 times about my disconnection with them on 10the march, they don't acknowledge that and keeps me calling and harassing me

                                      I am using Tikona internet connection since last year April.
                                      It was intermittent, and I wanted to end it, and finally raised a request for connection on January 26, for the first time. I was immediately asked to keep 7 days monitoring period after which I am free to decide. I was told there will be no charging for this period and that the billing cycle is stopped at that date.
                                      After 7 days there is no correspondence from Tikona, I have tried calling, customer care rarely connects. I though someone would call.
                                      After some days, a bill of 2600 was thrown at me. I was shocked. It should have been 1200 for January only. But the bill was of charges of February inclusive, after the seven days of monitoring.
                                      (For which as well I am not entitled because the plan was for 4 MBPS, and never did I get such speed, only 2 MBPS).
                                      After that I tried calling Tikona many times, and only after many failed attempts of convincing them to discontinue my connection, I finally again succumbed to the persuasive behaviour of Tikona Team.
                                      This time again I was offered to pay the remaining Rs 1875, after settlement of all charges and taxes and incentives and waivers ( I was told my total outstanding amount is Rs 1875). Rs 200 would be discounted if I still continue for another monitoring period, for which I will have to pay at the end of month, for whatever the usage is.
                                      After that, only within next two three days, I do not remember when as only after I logged into my Tikona account, was when I knew I had outstanding of Rs 900 again, this was for the next billing cycle.
                                      This is totally unacceptable, in fact infuriating.
                                      I want to settle everything with Tikona. And make it clear that the pain and loss of time are also losses concerned. They have caused immense headache, pain and loss of my time. This should be the end of it.
                                      (I am not entitled to any further payment, in fact I should ask for compensation)

                                      There has been absolutely no response from Tikona Team so far, whatsoever. No phone call, no email, no text message. I have been trying calling[protected], but it seems my number has been recorded to not connect, as if it was to help anyway.
                                      This has been even more frustrating. If it takes more than a week by Tikona to reach a customer to assure their complaint is being processed, it is just not acceptable.

                                        I would like to share an instance that happened with me while I opted for Tikona Broadband in Gurgaon. This has turned out to be the most disaster internet service provider that I ever opted for.

                                        At first it started with an excellent follow ups from their end when I was planning to take their services. Soon after the installation, it worked fine for 2 days and then it gave me the most stressful 2 months of time.

                                        I opted for 6 MBPS plan, and I never got speed in excess of 512 KBPS in continuation on a consistent basis, at most it reached to 1.5 MBPS and that too for a maximum of 15-20 minutes of time, not more than that. I kept sending them emails, to which their technical team had only one answer “from backend it is fine, just switch off and switch on the device”, and this approach never worked.

                                        There was not a single day, when the service was up and running without disruptions. Atleast 4-5 times that connectivity was lost for a consolidated time of 12-14 hours on daily basis.

                                        And now the most painful part…………….

                                        When I asked for the disconnection(after getting frustrated while sending daily mails and calls for no use), they literally begged to get a last chance and committed to make the experience better, which never happened to be the case. They keep the billing cycle continue, no matter if the services are down or almost down(with speed in 512 KBPS).

                                        They neither disconnect the connection, neither stop the billing cycle nor they improve the services.

                                        What continues is the ongoing calls and payment reminders.
