I have icici saving account[protected]. I had taken home loan thru HDFC ltd Two month back, i have shifted mode of payment from regular cheque method to ECS method. After ECS signed & stamped from local branch i.e. jhansi, ECS was submitted to beneficiary. The ECS payments were dishonored from ICICI lucknow past two months. I have communicated various customer care officers & visited local branch for the same, but all in vain. Kindly help Pankaj Verma [protected]

    Hi,
    I am launching a complaint against ICICI bank yet Again. On 5/5/14(U.S Time), I had attempted to recharge my STRAIGHT TALK network from the U.S, a transaction of 65$ in total. The First, Second, and other subsequent attempts were all a failure. To my dismay, I have been billed(or my account has been debited) for the unsuccessful transactions. I have been charged an astonishing Rs.8247.62. Just to clarify, I had talked to the customer service of Straight Talk, and they said that I have not been billed for any transactions. One is only left to wonder the whereabouts of my money.

      Sir, I have an FD in Shriram Transport Finance Subhiksha scheme of Rs.60000. I have given my SB account of ICICI Bank for interest crediting (quarterly). The interest due on 25.12.2013 is said to be credited by Shriram transport co vide their referance no. 121213N027146 and the UTR No.KKBKH[protected]. But the same is not showing in my SB account of IICI Bank(Electronics City Branch). On enquiry with the bank, they keep on saying that the issue being investigated and till now my interest is not credited in to my account. Please help. G.Sambasivam

      how come the last quarters interest is not yet credited in my i wish a/c's even after a full week.

        Unable to add payee in icici account through NEFT

        Can anyone help me with my account as I am unable to add payee, which actually happens to be a company account. I initially tried adding the Payee account but unable to do so from my company intranet but I am getting the same response : NO records fetched when trying from outside network. Please Guide and help as it is very important to make this payment. Thanks & Regards Balwant...

        UNFAIR DEALS BY ICICI BANK- HOME LOANS

        I had taken a home loan [Rs. 8, 49, 456/-] from M/s. ICICI Bank vide loan account No. LBHYD[protected] dt. 16.2.2007 @ 12.75% floating interest per annum. Accordingly, as per their loan agreement my monthly EMI’s for the above said loan were being paid on the 10th day of every month from my savings bank account. Subsequently, I also made a couple of part-payments and acknowledgements obtained. [75, 000 + 10, 000] Receipts Nos.[protected] &[protected] dt. 26.8.2008 & 14.9.2009 ] IN order to discourage from such part-payments ICICI bank had launched new insurance policies during this period to tap part-payments customers like me. During one such payment the bank offered me an insurance policy titled “ Jeetey Raho” – Life Time Gold] with an annual premium of Rs.25000/- I was further advised that on payment of 03 such premiums my amount would appreciate up to Rs.1, 20, 000/- and the policy can be surrendered after 03 years. Further, the bank also promised to slash interest rates by 4% on purchase of the above said policy. As the offer seemed quite attractive and anticipating reduction in interest rates I did take this policy for Rs. 25, 000/- [12558971] Subsequently, 02 other premiums were also paid in year 2010 & 2011 respectively. Having issued the above said policy the bank intimated me that, the revised interest rates on my loan account will be 8.75% [12.75-4 = 8.75%] vide their letter dt. 19.9.2009 and the same will be effective from 10.10.2009. . Further, the bank also collected Rs.14, 148/- as charges towards float switches [charges levied for change in interest rates] vide receipt No.[protected] dt. 14.9.2009. Now its nearing 5 years having taken the above said policy neither the sum assured was paid nor the interest rates were practically slashed. A majority of banks lends home loans between 10.15 – 10.25 % whereas I am forced to pay 11.75% which is unfair & un-reasonable. Yet ICICI bank claims to have the lowest interest rates on Home loans. Further, in this IT era a majority of banks places all their business transactions on their website for on line viewing by their customers whereas ICICI bank deprives this facility also to their customers. Other than interest liability certificate [to avail rebate on income tax] no other details are allowed to browse about our loan account. For any further queries we are advised to visit their nearest branch which is un-practicable. I do not understand why ICICI Bank would like to conceal every business transaction & trap the innocent customers. As I am deeply hurt the way it dealt me for the past 07 years I would like to bring it to the notice of their MD for immediate settlement of my grievance.

          Hi, I having a saving bank account in ICICI Shahibaug branch from last four years and my account no. is[protected] My contact number is : [protected] I was just checking my bank statement and got the shock of my life. My account has been debited by MAB charges thrice in last 3 months. 22.02.14 SMAB Chgs-Jan-14+Stax 30.9 14.03.14 SMAB Chgs-FEb-14+Stax 30.9, Rs.280.90. I don't have any mail informing about this MAB charges. I have no information from ICICI. No call, no mail and no msg. Now that I understand that ICICI bank has not informed me about change of balance system, hence any deduction from account for the same is totally wrong and if charges deducted are not credited back to my account then I will be left with no other option but to take this matter to higher authorities and Banking Ombudsman as this is CLEAR VIOLATION of Rule 8(1)(k) i.e. "levying of charges without adequate prior notice to the customer" of The Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006.

            The account had been converted into salaried account from women account & every month salary is being credited to this account but still MAB charges are being deducted from Dec'13 onwards. As per ICICI bank, they want an HR letter now to be submitted now for conversion & visit the branch. They are trying to hassle now with the charges.

              Anyone planning to open a bank account == A big word of caution, Avoid ICICI bank !!! The country's largest private sector bank scores pathetic in their customer care / service. ICICI Head Service Quality / Customer Care team, Time & again, you have proven beyond doubt that you offer one of the worst customer services offered by any service industry in this country (basis my experience). You can be "happy" knowing that both your branch as well as the call centre compete very well to offer the same standard of pathetic customer service. Would also like to take this opportunity to "thank" the technical team (based out of Hyderabad) for their least understanding of customer concerns & problems. My heartfelt "thanks" goes also to the relationship manager (a "privilege" only for the privilege account holders - however, I have been given a Cochin-based manager for my Bangalore-based account), who understood the problem, but has done absolutely nothing to resolve it. For further details on my latest experience, please continue reading. I hold a so-called "privilege" banking account with ICICI bank, and has been holding the same for more than 8 years. I have been facing an issue with regards to my online account access for the past one month (two SRs standing in testimony for the same - SR[protected] and SR[protected]. Everytime I try logging in the first time (which happens on the old login web page of ICICI bank), it throws out an error that my password is wrong. After the first trial and the subsequent error(which appears on a new login page, recently developed by the ICICI technical team - frankly an irritating one), the second trial (on the new login page) goes through fine and I am able to access my page. (though not an acceptable process for accessing my account, but, I would say, atleast an acceptable workaround, considering the pathetic service of the country's largest private sector bank) The major issue comes up when I try paying my bills (cellphone, credit card etc) from the respective third party websites. Payment through internet banking (even after multiple trials) never work out and my user ID gets disabled (after three consecutive wrong attempts). History of resolution by ICICI's "talented and capable" team (branch, customer care, technical team): Both the SRs were closed by the ICICI team without bothering to resolve the issue. Presume the focus was more on taking care of SLAs rather than resolving the customer issue. Not sure how can ICICI (or for that matter any service company) close the SR without checking with the customer whether the issue has been resolved or not. I have had discussions with atleast 6-7 customer care executives and around 2-3 supervisors during this period. Though everyone were (sounding) deeply apologetic with regards to the inconvenience I was facing, none of them resolved the issue for me. During the course of this period, I was asked to visit one of the branches (I ended up visiting the M G Road ICICI bank branch in Bangalore) to have a net meeting with the Hyderabad-based technical team. The experience was pathetic to say the least. In the first place, the branch took a neat 30 minutes to start attending to my issue (despite they having the great ticketing system at every branch), after considering the fact that they were literally clueless on this net meeting phenomenon. This was followed by the inefficient and callous approach of the technical team (based out of Hyderabad) - wherein on one side they were unable to resolve the issue and on the other end they were insisting that I had typed my password wrong. I have had to change my passwords atleast 5 times in the past 1 month (to demonstrate the error to the team) and had got my user IDs disabled & enabled atleast 5 times during the same period. I think I am fairly sensible enough to ensure that I dont type in my password wrongly for more than 15-20 times. Moreover, I have been using the same ID and password (till I made the first change in the last week of March 2014) since the year 2006. The main reason for me to remain an ICICI bank customer was its online banking (for your information, my experience with the branches all across the country - Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Indore, Pune etc - has been consistently pathetic, and hence I try my level best to avoid ICICI branches). Not sure whether this issue will ever be resolved. Alternatively, I had requested the bank officials to do let me know if they are incapable of resolving this issue, so that I can proceed on closing the account and change my salary bank account details - obviously, no response. Currently trying to change my bank account. I am sure 1 account (out of crores of accounts) doesn't make a difference for the country's largest private sector bank.

                Please be informed that ICICI bank has taken 20, 000 rupees from my account without my knowledge. On APRIL 1st 2014 I tried to with draw money from sholinganallur HDFC bank ATM and my withdrawal was declined and no amount was deducted from my account. After ten days ICICI bank without any confirmation from me they deducted 20, 000 from my account, As my account had no balance it went in minus. I called up to customer care and raised complaint on the same, they registered the same and messaged to my mobile saying your money will be returned in 7 days of time. That is money should have returned on 23rd APRIL 2014. It did not get re-funded they said this request is closed, so raise one more complaint and we will action it in 24 hrs and refund your money they said. The issue was not resolved and they have taken my 20000 rupees, When I went to Sholinganallur branch ICICI bank they said to wait for 17 more days. The customer care people told if you want you can raise compliant on the same. First issue – for 1st APRIL 2014 declined money how can they deducted after 10 days 10 APR 2014? Second issue – They sent message saying they will refund my money and later they did not refund. Third issue – How can savings account go in minus side, and how can they take my money without my notice.

                  I am writing to you after losing all my patience. I hope while reading this you will feel yourself being at my position and the pain and trouble I faced with you.

                  I am highly pissed off because the services provided by one of your branches in Delhi Videocon Tower, Jhandewalan Extention. The person named Prashant Pandey first of took hell time in processing my request. I placed a request for loan for Rs.50, 000/- only which was accepted at that point of time. But when I got the call from Mr.Pranshant pandey([protected]) he said that the loan has been approved for Rs.2lakhs which I never asked for. Then he said that it cant be less than Rs.1lakh and just wanted to know then how was my request proceeded online with the same details if it was not possible. You can understand if a person asks for loan he is in much need of it and this whole process had already taken more than 20days so I agreeded to his words and took 1lakh loan so that I can get my dues fixed with this loan amount. But Its been more than 1month I am still waiting for the amount to be transferred to my account. I have asked 100times that I want to speak to Senior but no one came back to me or gave me any details so that I can contact anyone about the same. So I had to be in the same circle moving round and round. Then my case was been handled by Mr.Dinesh( [protected]). He said after giving cheques it will be done next day. Then the statement got changed to 24hrs. Its been more than 1 week still no repsonse. Yesterday I told Mr.Dinesh that it will be of no use to me if its gets delayed by few more days because my time limit to get my dues cleared will be over so it will be of no use for me. He replied it will be done for sure by Monday(28/04/2014). I called him in the evening to check the status for the same. I ignored my call and didnt answer. I called him many times but no reply. I called him again today still no reply. I called Mr.Prashant and a lady named Zoya answered the call saying that he is not available in office. I again asked for details so that I can escalate it and talk to any senior. She denied to give any details and someone shouted to disconnect my call and my call was disconnected and since then no one is answering. I called them again and again and then they said that I will get a call back. Still waiting for that call back. So one has called back. Being a loyal customer with ICICI for now more than 2years I feel so helpless and irate that I dont know what to do. I wish I could escalate it to the highest authority and teach your employees what they are getting paid for. Even I work for an organisation and I know there are glitches in every system but this ignorance I have never seen and not can imagine. I want that money asap otherwise I will be in trouble and you have already wasted all my time that I had. I am left with no option but I will sincerely pass on my feedback to each and every customer of yours with whom I will meet.

As a result an amount of 89, 148/- [75000 + 14148] remained un-accounted from 2009. Finally ICICI did achieve its objective by diverting my attention from Home loan part payments. A majority of banks lends home loans between 10.15 – 10.25 % per annum whereas ICICI charges 11.75% which is unfair & un-reasonable. Yet ICICI claims to have lowest interest rates on Home loans. Further, in this IT era a majority of banks places all their business transactions on their website for on line viewing by their customers whereas ICICI deprives this facility also. Other than interest liability certificate [to avail rebate on income tax] no other details are allowed to view about loan account. For any further queries we are advised to visit their nearest branch which is un-practicable. I do not understand why ICICI Bank would like to conceal every business transaction & trap the innocent customers. I am a victim of ICICI bank. Though my grievance has been brought to the notice of their MD nothing is heard till date and my efforts seem to have gone in vain. Therefore, the same has been referred to the banking ombudsman for doing the needful.

                        This is with reference to my father's credit card - Bigbazaar ICICI cobranded.
                        He had made a purchase at BB, Mulund & used this card for the payment. I dont know what had happened at the time of payment but he was charged twice for one transaction/purchase. At the time of settling credit card bill, my father paid for the actual transaction and raised a complaint for extra transaction. Till now the complaint is unresolved and we keep getting payment/recovery reminders.
                        Request you to look into my concern and resolve it at the earliest.

                          With due regards, it is to be stated that in response to your letter (Sub: Settlement for loan No. LICHD[protected], dated 25 Aug, 2009). Ref No. ICICI/AUG/09/10084016. I duly deposited the said amount Rs.12, 000, in your bank on Sep.09, 2009 by cheque No. 346591 (PNB). This was purported to be final payment (One time Settlement). Some how my loan account has not been closed and payment is being shown in you record & to be made by me. Please get the account record rectified and the loan account may kindly be closed. Kindly treat it as urgent.

                            On, 11th April 2014. I have received Instant Credit Card [ [protected] ] on Fixed Deposit. Branch told me it will get activated within 4 days and I will receive the pin by calling customer care. But now it has been 15days card is not activated nor I have received any pin. I have called many times the customer care, they are just extending time, I went to the branch Mandke hospital Andheri West Mumbai .                               I have not received my credit card, even though it was dispatched last month. No one from the bank bothered to inform me that the card was returned. I have received a credit card bill with charges for joining fee and service tax. (Note: I have not joined yet, as the card has not been activated and the service in this case is objectionable) The customer care center is least interested in solving the problem, they want to finish the call as soon as possible as I am guessing they are rated on the basis of how many calls they answered instead of how many people they helped. I am sick and tired of calling the customer care just to change my dispatch address and get the card, so that I can pay the bill I want to cancel this card, which of course they will not do because of pending bills. This does not make sense as I have never received the card!!!

                                I have a business & have an ICICI Bank EDC machine for accepting cards. In March 2014, I received a letter from ICICI Bank that from April onwards they will charge Rs. 100 + taxes for low output. Immediately I told them that I do not want to keep their machine & submitted a deinstallation request Case ID : 07656777. I was informed that the MID has been updated & the machine will be collected within 3 working days. 21 days later, the machine has still not been collected from the store & I receive an auto-debit saying Low output fees! I should not have been charged because I have already submitted a deinstallation request & the delay is from their end!

                                  My name is jyothi pesingi, my card no ends with [protected], i have been using icici credit card from the last 17 months. I used it for many. In the process i observed no fault but

                                  Recently i purchased gold through this card worth of and i thought of converting it into emi and later on i came to know that according to rbi new rules it is not possible. That is also acceptable
                                  But for 25, 407/- you charged the interest 1594/- + gst 197/-.
                                  I paid the amount 5000/- so i want to know based on what u charged that much amount. Nearly 1800/- means interest rate at 7.08 per month. How ridiculous it is.
                                  I want to dis continue with icici due to all ththis reason so friends be aware of icicic credit card.
                                  I accepted it for first two reasons, but why should i pay1800/- interest for least25407/-.

                                  I paid all the amount u deactivete my card

                                    I have taken Home Loan from ICICI Bank in Aug 2006 at Floating Interest rate. Current Market rate is 10 to 11% and I am paying interest to ICICI Home Finance @ 14.5%. So I decided to shift the home loan to other bank. I requested Foreclosure Letter by submitting an online request. Request number SR[protected] dated 14-Apr-2014. I provided my mobile number as well as email address for communication. Worth nothing the I have my salary account with ICICI and both the accounts are linked. Hence, ICICI is having my contact details already. After couple of days I checked the service request. It was painful that I was unable to find any Open or Close service request. Luckily I saved the service request number and I searched with the same and could get the clue that the request status is closed. The reason for closing the service request was: Bank is unable to contact me at the phone number provided. And they asked me to cot act the Bank. Since, I was bit busy with office assignments; I missed couple of calls on my mobile which were from unknown number. Considering a valid reason, I submitted another request. But, this time I did not took the service request number. And bank again closed the same. However, this time I am not able to trace the Service request. For the third time I requested again and this time I noted the service request number as well as I am forced to post on the Consumer Court forum as well. Since I have excellent experience in the past as well; I know I will get correct service. I should be specific that when I approached couple of other banks, all of them are of the opinion that ICICI Will make my life miserable for providing the Foreclosure letter and list of documents. While applying for Home loan as well I had a very bitter experience with ICICI. However, I do not have any evidence of the same now. Lets see how do ICICI Treat their consumers. Application submitted on 25 Feb 2014, but till the date i had not heard any thing from your bank. I request you to make payment of the bond as above as I am in urgent need of money for treatment of my wife.
