The bus was supposed to be a sleeper coach which stops just at very few places during the night (may be one or two). I have travelled a lot while I was working in Bangalore (Bangalore to Cochin, Bangalore to Chennai, Bangalore to Ooty, Bangalore to Hyderabad etc). This was not a first time for me.
So, this bus was dirty, A/C was horrendous and the window was loose and hence most of the time the window gets opened when the bus goes through a bumpy road. After sitting down for 3 hours, I saw many many people got onto the bus like a daily passanger bus. Some people pushed me and my family to sit on our sleeping area. The harrassment doesnot stop here. At 12pm, due to a bad smell and alcohol smell, I looked out of my curtain and found many people sleeping on the floor. So, the bus was actually turned into a local passanger bus with people getting on and off after every hour from every stop
I have taken few pictures so that I can make a proper complain to the appropriate authority. I can share with you too.
The harrassment continues still... At around 4am in the morning, I was heavily pushed by many people and people were shouting at me as I was not giving up some space to them to sit down in my place. Ultimately, it was scary and I felt that people will hit me if I don't compromise my seat. Ultimately, I left my sleeping area and people came to occupy that. Till then, I had told the bus conductor several times and he asked me to behave like a human being and allow the people to share my seat with them.
I am a human being and fine to share but they had turned a sleeper coach into a passanger bus and earning more money by compromising everything that I deserved to receive. People had paid Rs 100 to Rs300 who had no reservation and they occupied my seat. So, I paid Rs 900 for what????

So, after 4am people pushed me and I had to sacrifice my seat completely. I sat with my wife and daughter's sleeping area. So, we were 3 people sitting in 2 seats. After an hour or so the bus stopeed again and some people got off and more people got on. This time people even pushed me more and they came sat with us. So, ultimately by the time we reached Jaisalmer we 3 people who paid Rs900 each were squeezed to sit in one seat only.
There is a last bit left. The final point where the bus should have left me is "HANUMAN CIRCLE". I was asked to get down at one place and the bus conductor said that the bus will not go to Hanuman circle. Why???
So, what do you think I should do? Is it acceptable??? Is it fair??? Why did you charge me Rs 900 for each ticket for a HORRIBLE journey? Or is it the normal way how Indian people and Indian company don't care about others and EARN money, suck blood???
I have heard REDBUS is very renowened but who is the person who approved this type of bus? You should immediately take these ### out of your list otherwise you get a badname.

I paid Rs900 which is a lot more than what other people paid. I am a British citizen (Indian background though) and I feel bad about such unprofessional behaviour of renowned companies.

(2) unfair treatment
(3) cheated me - are not good for anyone. I paid from my International credit card and provide evidence if requested
(4) I travelled from London just for a week holiday and I had a scary and terrible start of my trip

Updated by [email protected] Forgot to mention that I tried to complain to Redbus directly but their complaint website NEVER works - https://m.redbus.in/tracker
Then I had to write an email complaining everything through an email as I have already mentioned above. How ridiculous is it that RedBus's complain webpage does not work. But the ticket booking works perfectly well. Does that means if anyone has a complain then spend good time to do reasearch and find your way. They are above law and order and they can easily say that their website has IT issues and get away from their cheaky attitude.
Susch a stupid company.
Kindly take action against Redbus.in and make sure that they do not use my email address, send me someone else's bus tickets or abuse my email address again. @Redbus.in, please update your records with my correct name and phone number under my email address. I do not want to receive anyone else's emails from you ever again. I mean it. I also do not want you to use that Ravi Shankar's name or phone number in my account registered with my email address. Or else, be ready to face the consequences of your evil actions.
