Booking:jps6bfavw. When i reached on location to take the car, found that car was heavily dented and not in a condition to drive. Zoomcar cc executive arranged a different car which was located 7 km away. Executive told me to take ola/uber to the new location and suggest to submit the bill for refund after the booking over. This was explicitly promised by zoom car executive.

Zoomcar did not refund cab charges despite of providing the bill and lying that such refund was not promised. Though they can hear the recording of call on 30-jun-2019 at 11:30 pm and will find that such promise was made.

Upon checking we find that our executive had informed about the refund. We are sorry for the miss from our team in resolving the issue.

Please note, we have initiated the refund. The amount has been initiated through IMPS. Please note, a link has been shared to your registered email ID. Kindly log into your Zoomcar account on the website and then click on the link. On the landing page, please add your bank credentials and submit. The refund amount shall be instantly transferred to your bank account or you can log in through the app. Navigate to your completed bookings page. Under the respective booking, you shall find the option "Get refund". Click on the same and add your bank credentials. Once done, within 24 hours, the amount shall reflect in your bank account.

Thanks for the response and resolution. It has become standard practice of Zoomcar to cheat customer first and resolve the issue only after they spend lot of time and continue with follow up. In this case, following was response from Mohammed Adnan (Zoomcar):-

"With reference to your mail regarding the booking id JPS6BFAVW, we understand your concern here. However, we checked and confirmed with our team that the cab bill refund was not promised from our end. Unfortunately, we would be unable to process the cab bill refund. Request you to acknowledge the same and kindly bear with us. "

Thanks to consumercomplaints.in, finally my problem is resolved. Zoomcar need to stop the practice of blatant lying and cheating customers.

    I have not received the refund amount of 3499rs/- for the booking id mentioned above. Its been 2 months now and i have had to raise two tickets for the same, case:1292836 and case:1316715
    Initially, zoomcar said that they credited the amount twice and asked me to repay the extra amount when i actually received nothing. When i raised ticket for the same explaining them about the wrong charges, they verified, corrected and then tell me that the amount has been credited as per their records and ask me to check with my bank. There is no amount credited as per my bank statement. This is clearly a blunder on zoomcar's part, and their responses have been poor and delayed.

      I have booked zoom car with booking id jps6bvxfw on 17th june 2019 and my trip got completed on 19th june 2019. On 19th i got a msg from stating my security deposit of 2999 got initiated and get it into my account by 29 june 2019. I waited till that day and again on 29 june 2019, i got a msg again stating my money is initiated and i get it by 8th july 2019. So i called them and they said that my money got actually initiated on 29 june and told me to wait till the mentioned date so i waited but my money have not yet credited later i called them 3 times then they said i need to wait till 13th july as then it will complete 15 days. I even did that but money has not yet returned back so called them again and asked for reference number they gave me fake reference number twice as i have confirmed with my bank then they asked me to send my bank statement from the date of my booking i even did that and after calling again they said to me that they will send me the imps till the end of the day. But i didn’t receive anything from them. Again i called them they said they will contact the team and asked me to wait. It is over one month and i haven’t received my money back. They only cheat customers. My balance got charged around 500 rupees for calling them numerous times and i kept so many emails but not proper u will get the only system generated mails every time.

        I have used zoom car service for.2 times. First time was in Hyderbad. Service was very smooth. Car came on time and they took the car without any hurdles. But 2 nd time i used in chennai, the service was a bit trouble facing for me. Car came half hr late since there was no car in the hub. Means there was some shortage of cars in the hub. They told me to call customer n raise the issue. Raised it. And i have completed my travel and parked the car in the basement. Car condition was too bad, dont know for how many days or.months the car was not cleaned. It was soo untidy from inside. Gear was very tight. After 8 pm, they r callin from offic and told me to deliver the car in their offic. I told i ll not do it since i hve paid 300 fot door delivery. After so many calls n issues, a guy came now at 12.32 AM and took the car. Pathetic thing is, as soon as i gave the car key by saying thank you, he din even see my face and got into car n went off just like that. I was keepin the car safely in the parking and he din even bother about it. What kind of treatment is this towards a customer.

          'we had booked car from borivali, car was out of battery and dirty, pickup time was 9 am, details were provided at 9.30, then were given another car at 11 am from sion, approx 30kms from the actual location, the car was also in bad position got the car at 1.30pm it was dirty and the wiring was extremely lose so ac did not work and it wa foggy weather so the person driving had to keep wiping with handkerchief and drive which almost was risking our life, car stopped working at vashi, had to get it repair which took us 3 hours, we reached our destination at 10.30pm, wherein the travel was only 2hours 30 mins, our booking checkin in was 11.30am we missed the entire saturday and more than that we were exhausted and the compensation given by you is one way fare cab from borivali to sion? Reasonable enough right?

            First off all let me clarify that the details specified in the recovery note is wrong. The outstanding amount which according to me is wrongly charged is toward damage of vehicle and not towards use of vehicle in excess to the paid rent.
            As I understand that these charges are towards damaged wind screen. Let me clarify that when I had handed over the vehicle at 4.15pm and till the time I got the booking closure confirmation which was at 4:35pm there was no damage. Even the representative who took over the vehicle had inspected the complete vehicle and asked for justification for few old damages which the vehicle had while I took the vehicle.I showed him necessary video and photograph which convinced and based on it the booking was completed at 4:35pm.
            I don't understand that if the windscreen was damaged why it was not noticed in these 20minutes which the representative took for inspection and to take the handover of car from me. Windscreen as I understand is made from toughened glass so if there is any damage it is always clearly noticeable.
            Later at 23.54 IST I get a message that the charges have exceeded and I have an outstanding to pay which is 1000 INR. On inquiry I find that the total amount charged is 6000INR which is towards windscreen damaged (Broken windscreen). Later in few hour this amount is 10000INR now. How & Why I don't know.
            I would request you to give an explanation for why I should pay when the broken windscreen was not reported while taking the handover. In fact according to me this damage has happened after handover of vehicle by the person who has taken the handover and is transferring the blame to my account.
            The only request I have to make is to reverse this charges and cancel the noticed generated.

            Let me make it clear than when I handed the vehicle it was thoroughly inspected by zoom representative who took the handover. The representative went round the vechile twice and sat inside the vechile on the driving sheet inspected the interior of vechile as well as all the paper. Level of fuel. He inspected the vechile for more than seven minute and than conclude the booking as complete. He even had few question on damages which was justified by appropriate video or photographs. At that time windscreen damage was not noticed. I again want to highlight that if a windscreen is damaged than it is quiet visible as windscreen is of toughen glass and any damage would be visible. I am sure that the windscreen was damaged after the handover and the blame of damage is transferred to me. I have already submitted photo during my first communication but these photographs donot have date and time. For refer I am resubmitting the photographs.

            I have made it clear that the only mistake I did was that I did not take photos or videos during handover. This was because the zoom representative inspected the car thoroughly and concluded the handover. On receipt of booking completion information I left to depart.
            So these are fake charges which I am not bound to pay. In fact I need my deposit back with interest and compensation for 2 hour delay in receipt of vehicle on 30th June. Hope zoom team understands the harassment faced by me.

              Booking id (Jps6bpi53) i write this email regarding the damage of the car that i've rented on 4/6/2019. I write this to inform you that i have already paid the due amount of ₹11, 263/- and it was clear. All of a sudden, i receive a mail yesterday stating ₹1, 49, 999/- amount to be paid. It was not clear for what are we charged and shows that it's an inconvenience fee. I'm sorry to inform that we have got enough proofs to show you that it was not our mistake. We took the car on 4th june and it's been nearly 1month, how can you people say after 1 month??? How can you people be careless? You should have said the amount when the damage has happened, now it is unfair to pay the amount after 1month in spite of already paying money earlier. I would like you to please check the issue and inform me as this has to be sorted out asap. If you guys fail to sort this issue in that's the case we are going to take legal action against you. It's not the first time it has happened, as per our survey it has happened with many people and you people have been cheating like us to make money. As per your terms and conditions, the maximum damage amount is 10, 000 only. The car we have taken is included with the insurance so what is the reason of damage fee and innocence fee

              And even I have booked the Verna car and you have given me creta which is not in maintenance and asking me to pay the engine amount the only bumper was damaged by us because when the car got breakdown we have arranged our own pully your zoom car haven't helped us we have also paid the late fee of it and now your making fraud of paying 1.5laks to the students you have specifically mentioned there will be incursec to car

                Dear Team,

                This is regarding booking Id JPS6B5YJ8.
                Firstly, we booked Tata hexa but zoomcar people changed the car in last hour to mahindra marazzo, please note that this could be their strategy to provide faulty car and make money from customer.

                When we took off the car, we felt that the gear shift is not as smooth as it should be. After around 80kms it became too hard to shift the gear & eventully the car stopped accelerating.

                In the middle of our journey, we somehow managed to park the car roadside & searched for a mechanic only to realise that the clutch plate of the car is completely broken. Mahindra Marrazo is a newly launched model & a clutch plate cannot break in a normal 80kms drive.

                In the middle of nowhere, rotting under the sun all this while we were continuously trying to reach zoomcar customer care & it took them 5-6 hours to and yet no decent help. We were told that a taxi with free 50 kms will be provided but didn’t get it on time. I was also told that a full or partial refund will be provided, but instead now they are charging 7k extra for the damage.

                So around 7-8 hours we were with their broken car, stranded in the middle of nowhere, with no proper help. We had to stay on waiting for 20-30 minutes on customer line only to hear that I’ll get a call after 10 minutes & like this 6 hours went by. Their toll truck also couldn’t reach on time.

                Lastly we somehow managed to get a customer executive to lock the car (with key inside), by their centralised system remotely. We parked the car at roadside nearby a hotel, from where their toll truck took it away later.

                Instead of charing me 7K as penality, I want answer on my spoiled trip, wasted 6 hours stranded in nowhere. We had to book from a local cab from there at a very unreasonable price only to not spoil our trip which was caused by Zoomcar.

                My points are mentioned below:

                1) I have recording of our initial telephonic conversation when vehicle stopped working in which they have told that they will refund the amount.

                2) Zoomcar also told to pay the fare of taxi for 50KM from the location where car it stopped. I did not get any cab on time or money for it.

                3) we have also refiled the diesel of amount 1000 but haven't got the refund for that.

                4) I also want to mention you that this was booked during a heavy discount period. And last moment car change, all this doesn’t seem very fare.

                I request you to take this up & help me dealing with zoomcar in a fare manner.

                You are telling that your car was totally in good condition we drove 70-80 KM and clutch plate got damaged.
                Dear sir if we have booked 10 car from zoomcar and many other from other vendors, drove all around 200-400 KM and dropped all cars in same condition as it was earlier (you can see my booking history)
                Then you must have to agree the point that your car was also faulty.(and also why you people have changed the car from HEXA to Marazzo)

                what about the other points we have mentioned, for your kind attention we are mentioning that again:

                  I have made a booking from car for my parents from ranchi as they wish to visit one of the shivling called baidyanath dham. So i booked a creta for the trip. I asked the zoom car executive is this car new and good as we will travelling 500 kms+ on this trip so the car should be in good condition, and they assured me. (My booking no. Jps6bbal0)
                  But before the journey can start the zoom car executive called my father that car is not available, they could provide us tata nexon at this time, my question was your company should have made that car unavailable is there was some issue with the car. But anyways my parents agreed with nexon and the journey started, but the next day car showed some problem. So my father start calling zoom car but they # just put the call on hold and no one was responding, and then my father called up the person from where we take the car and he said we will come and take care of it but all in vain.
                  I also started calling zoom car from here to help my parents but no one took the call just a long que on call, i waited 20-20 minuted on call for an support but there was no answer. So my parents stuck 55 kms away from a small town called dhanwad from 5 pm and we were calling zoom car for assistance till 8 pm but no reply, then my father decided to toe the car to dhanwad as its night time and not safe in bihar. At last zoom car after 30 minuted on call waiting they answer and said they will look into the matter at 10 pm. The car was taken away from dhanwad to worksop at 11:30 pm. My father have to pay the charges for toeing i. E. Rs 3000.
                  Now they assured my parents that they will provide us a taxi to ranchi in morning but when we called up they said you have to arrange a vehicle by yourself, we cannot help you in this.

                  So the conclusion was zoom car service sucks, never book a car with zoom car they are the money eaters.
                  I have attached my mobile screenshot of calling zoom car and will soon attach my parents call records.
                  It took 1500 diesel that we fuel in car + 3000 towing charges + 3500 taxi charges + 2500 for hotel so total = 10, 500 was extra expense on the trip and note no refund is provided from zoom car till now.
                  They are money eaters nothing else.

                    As i booked Tata Tiago with booking ID-JPS6BBKXT on 2nd july2019 from the app and after completing the trip i was charged for damage of part replacement for 4000.While there are scratches already which i am not aware so as per their policies it should 500 or 1000.But there is no proper verification and they charged me for part replacement.i have sent so many mails with photos but i am not getting any revalidation response with any person or so.

                      The damage charges imposed on me are for a damaged tyre (Rear right) as i am informed.
                      I wanted to inform you that i have already send the video i made when i booked

                      The charges imposed are rs 4000 for a old tyre as you can see in the video. I was not supplied with a new tyre why am i being charged for one. The tyre was already low on air, when i received it had markings and receeded treading. They are holding me liable for a damage that has been done by other customers just because it came into notice in my booking and the caretaker present at zoom car pickup point was not listening to any of our complains and filed the wrong report regarding the initial condition of tyre and they have already done booking for that car that must mean the next customer had a brand new tyre in his vehicle. I don't think that is the case, kindly look into it the matter and help me out. They have not been replying accordingy and sending me policy documents in mail telling the charges are valid and i have to pay for it.
                      I called customer support and asked what was the damage they said due to rash driving the tyre was damaged and the tyre was damaged beyond repair and charged me rs 4000 and dedudcted without any prior information. (From my deposit) saying it was severly damaged by me. As i explained above the tyre already had markings and sihmgns of damage they are putting all that on me and not responding appropriately.

                        I had made my above-mentioned booking for 6th and 7th april on "with fuel" condition, but still we had to refuel it for amount rs.1250/-. I had already uploaded the bills on the app, and it is saying that the refund has been made. But i have checked my bank account multiple times, there is no refund from your side. And still after 3 months there is no refund, even after sending literally a dozen mails to your customer support.

                        This is a serious discrepancy on your part as i have never seen such a lethargic response in case of online refunds.

                          I have booked a zoomcar on 28th from kolkata (Booking id:jps6b2az0).
                          The booking was with fuel, that is, the car with come with fuel, and any excess fuel costs will be re-imbursed by zoomcar.
                          The trip was a 380 km trip, and the car provided was with 4% fuel, so we decided to fill it with fuel worth rs.3000. Whatever would be used by our trip would be used, and the rest would be in the car when we return.
                          After our trip, zoomcar initiated a refund of rs. 2747 for the fuel (Minus rs. 1164 for extra kms, hence a net refund of rs. 1584). So instead of rs. 3000, zoomcar decides to refund just rs. 2747.
                          So, i called up support, and they mentioned that it is under the terms and conditions that if i leave extra fuel in the car, i would be charged. I checked the policy, and it is clearly mentioned that if i take up a zoomcar without fuel (In which case zoomcar would not pay for the fuel, but the customer would) then the excess fuel would not be reimbursed, but there was nothing of the sort mentioned for if the booking is with fuel. But the person from the customer care adamantly argued and said that whatever i do, there will be no refund. So, i mailed them, and i got back the same sort of reply. [attached below]
                          The thing is, they are making up policies and deducting money from refunds without any cause. They refused to even give information of the same. Please look into this. Thank you.

                            I got charged for an accessible amount if 5k as inconvenience fees, without any breakup. There is no logical explanation about the fees charged as all the criteria were met. On top of this there is no way i could reach out to zoomcar executive to discuss the same matter. I tried all their forums and numbers but no luck. Now zoomcar is threatening me over mails that they will take legal action and that my stuff could be confiscated. This is anarchy. The last time i thought we were living in a free country with democracy

                              I am a regular user of zoomcar my account has been blacklisted without any notice or email by zoomcar i don't know for what reason it is, and my driving license approval has been pending due to some error so i request them to resolve my issue as soon as possible as i need to make a booking.                                     On 6th june, 2019 i've a booking through zoom car mobile app. I've paid rs.4578 including security deposit.
                                    First of all they changed my booking 15 minutes prior to the original timing and location as well. When i reached to the new pick up location car was not even there. I called them and they wasted my 30 minutes because i've to call them and wait for the car. After 30 minutes they told that they will refund my money because they can't arrange a car for me. I booked a cab to and fro to pick up the car. I wasted my 3 hours and by booking a cab. This cab costed my rs. 1000. After 30 minutes i got the message that they will give me rs.4437. How can they deduct the amount when they only cancelled my booking?
                                    I want my complete rs 4578 and rs1000 for cab. I want rs.5578 back.
                                    They are fraud and cheat. Never ever book a zoom car.

                                      Booking time 7.30 AM, still no car alloted til 9.55 AM, more than 2.30 hour.

                                      Still customer care every time promise call back in 5-10min .but no solution.

                                        I had booked a zoom car with id jps6bb3m7, as there came a new of demise at family we need to cancel the trip, while cancelling the total refund was showing the same amount what we booked. But later the amount changed to 0, that means no refund will be provided.in such scenerios what can a comman man do if 0 refund is provided and as per the policy atleast refund must be provided in such scenerios. But during cancellation why the total amount was shown as refund. The amount later was shown to 0. Please request to please provide refund
