I had booked an maruthi Baleno car for 4 days, pick up and return in Pune city, without fuel for Rs6784. After picking up the car which was full half tank, i filled up full tank 17 liters diesel paying Rs1200. After driving for 10kms the engine heated up indicator started blinking(red) on the cluster. On contacting their customer support we were asked not to drive the car as the engine may get damaged and will arrange for tow truck to pick up same.
My issue is we were not offered any replacement car, also we were instructed to wait (2 hours ) in the hot sun on the toad with my wife and 2 kids till the tow truck arrived only to collect the car. No refund of amount paid ie Rs 6784 and fuel Rs 1200 till date. Also we were asked to pay rs10000 within 1 day through their app which i refused to pay.
the car had driven only 13000 kms and had such an major issue, what kind of death traps is Zoom car giving their customers? their call center executives are very rude(especially one mr afroz) and dont care about the customers plight on the road.
Please have their license cancelled in India, before major mishaps happen to people and their loved ones traveling in their death traps/coffins.

    I had booked a car on 21 Apr 2:30 pm.
    When I reached the location there was no car for almost 30 minutes.
    The customer care official told me to wait for for 30 more minutes till he makes some calls.
    Finally I received the car on 3:45 pm which was already dirty from the outside and inside too.
    Today after paying almost 5000 rs just for half day o[censored]sage I received an additional 1000rs amount due as cleaning charges. This is nothing but theft on the company's part. Will never use this service again.
    I am also unable to talk to the zoomcar cutomercare guy as the call gets disconnected every time i select the menu.

      We have returned the car ahead of the booking end time as in the same condition when we got the car.
      Next morning, we got a notification from the zoomcar that i have to pay additional charge due to some damage. We are very sure that we did not make any damage.

      We have requested the details to the zoom car team, they have not provided any. And we are not able to contact their help desk.

      First recovery notice:-

      Dear shanto aloor,

      This e-mail is with reference to the booking made by you with zoomcar through company's webpage/mobile app with the following details -

      S. No booking id car provided start time end time pickup point drop off point initial rental security deposit outstanding
      1 jps6bj7g2 ka51ac5702 12/04/2019 09:00 14/04/2019 15:53 sairam layout, battarahalli, 4352956 sairam layout, battarahalli, 4352956 7159 0 11000

      It has come to our attention that the car has been used in excess of the paid rental amount and in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you, you are liable to make payment of ₹11000 to the company. Please note that failure to make payment of the due amount will render you liable to civil proceedings and the company would be entitled to recover the due amount by attachment of your property (Movable/immovable) or otherwise. Further, willfully declining or making delay to pay the above said outstanding amount could also subject you to criminal proceedings.

      We therefore request you to make payment of the aforementioned outstanding amount of ₹11000 within 5 days of this mail, failing which we shall be constrained to initiate against you civil and criminal legal proceedings as are warranted by law for recovery of the due amount. Please note that in accordance with the member agreement displayed here, duly verified and acknowledged by you, the company is entitled to recover all costs incurred in initiation of legal proceedings.

        Hi,

        One of friend is using my license and when i upload license in my zoomcar account, it still pending for approval. I request you to delete my license from my friends zoomcar account. If anything will happen in future then i will not responsible for that. As zoomcar doesn't not verified before approving my license to my friends account and zoomcar will be responsible for that.

        At the time of registration mistakenly i uploaded my dl into my friends account. But now when I uploaded into my account, it gets declined. I want to get my dl out of his account as it can be misused too. I tried to call customer care but I can't find proper number to contact and I wrote email also but i didn't get reply. But now the thing is i want to get my dl out of his account.

          1) on 10 april 2019 (Booking id # jps6boczz) (Booked it from 8 pm to 12 am and 20 kms) i took the car on rent from zoomcar and while returning the car the staff of zoomcar misbehaved with me. While taking the car only he first misbehaved.

          Conversation: before taking the car;
          1) zoomcar associate: for how long you're taking this car? Would you be returning before 12?
          Reply by me: no, i have taken it till 12 am. So, i'd be back by that time.
          Zoomcar associate: doesn't look like, i'm sure you'd back before that time. As you've taken it for just 20 kms, what would you do sitting in the car?

          How dare he asked me what i'll do and what not? Or when i'll be returning or when not?

          2) now post returning the car
          Zoomcar associate: you look drunk, i can smell alcohol in the car.
          Reply by me: no, i didn't drink.
          Zoomcar associate: your eyes are red (I was tired that day), and i dont drink, so thats why i can easily judge who drinks, drunk. I can even call those other customers and i'm sure they'll call you drunk.
          Reply by me: if you're so sure that i'm drunk, bring the ignition interlock device and check, dont make false acquisitions.
          Zoomcar associate: you cannot doubt my judgement, and company hasn't provided us that device.

          This conversation stretched for long and then this person started saying, "oh may be you're not drunk, but your partners might have had drinks"

          Who the hell gave him a right to talk about me or any of my partners?

          Now: because he got so upset from me, he showed a random damage on the car and told me that this was done by you. Its so fresh, i can tell that. I deal with this everyday and all of that.

          And because of all of that now zoomcar sends me this mail for more humiliation and accusing me of false charges.

          Hi,

          Firstly, please be a more specific on how "the charges has been asked for and give me bill for the same".

          Secondly, "in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you"- this acknowledgement was a result of the harassment that i was put through that late in the night (1130 pm) by your associate, where the argument went on for more than half an hour and i was already late for an event and because of that use use less argument i got more late. Also, no proper internet at your parking location made my situation more worse.

          Despite repeated denial of any damage been done to the car during the time it was under my usage, i was harassed for pre-existing issues with the car.

          Also, i clearly remember mentioning all the broken dashboard, scratch marks and dents (Including the one held against me that night) and what not, to the staff on duty before taking the car from the pick up point. There were so many of these damages on the car. (To be used as proof against false charges).

          I request you to provide me any proof against the fact that i was not responsible for whatever damage is being referred to in excess amount.

          As per my knowledge, there was no damage done to the car. Henceforth, please do not harass customers this way.

          Please accept our sincere apologies for the trouble that you had to go through. We did go through your entire mail and we regret the trouble that you had to go through.

          We do not tolerate such behaviour from our executives and we will ensure a thorough investigation is done to understand the incident that took place and we will ensure proper action is taken.

          With regard to the damage charges levied on the booking, we did have a check and an exception we have reversed the damage charges levied on the booking. In future, please ensure that you mention any damages on the vehicle in the checklist.

          We have processed a refund of the vehicle downgrade. A link has been shared to your registered email ID. Kindly log into your Zoomcar account and then click on the link. Add your bank credentials and submit. The refund amount shall be instantly transferred to your bank account.

When i tried to book a car in zoom, i am getting "you are blacklisted by zoom car and you will not be able to use our services". I am not getting any support from customer care.                 I made a booking on zoomcar app with booking ID JPS6BKHNU and the car was Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza with license plate number PB01N0309. I was supposed to recieve the at 4PM on 16th April. However, when i reached the pickup location, the car was not there. I waited for more than an hour but I still didn't receive the car. Now the app wont let me cancel the booking saying that the booking has already started.

                  I booked the car but the car which i got was damaged soo it took around 40 mins to change my car so i asked them for 1 hour extend and they agreed for that. The extend which they gave me was manual extend which cannot be shown in the zoomcar app. They told me that i can give the car 1 hour late and no outstanding charges will be applied. But i wanted 1 more hour soo i extend my booking for one more hour by the zoom car app. I also had a word with zoomcar customer care executive about my problm they said that you can return the car 1 hr late even when you extend it by your own by zoomcar app. But the next day i got outstanding amount due to late return. I have given my email and my phone no. As well. Waiting for your reply

                    Unfortunately my account (Email-shaileshmendhe18287, mobile-[protected]) was blaclisted. I uploaded my same liscence for another account ([protected]@gmail.com, mobile-[protected]) and it was approved. It was done by mistake and i am extremely sorry for what i did. I want my account to be active again and decline my new account. The account which i want active is ([protected]@gmail.com, mobile-[protected]). And the other account ([protected]@gmail.com, mobile-[protected]) can be decline. Please zoomcar, i hope you understand my concern and i am your regular custome. Please do the same.                       Dear sirma’am

                      I had booked one zoomcar with booking id jps6bompz from my id with mobile number [protected] in the name of suraj pratap. Booking was of xuv 500 from 6:00 pm on 12th april 2019 to 12:00 am on 15th april 2019.

                      1. I was supposed to pick the zoom car at 6:00 pm on 12th april 2019. But once i reached the pickup site to pick up my car, i was shocked to see that the rear left tyre of the car was puncture. The owner of the car living there gave no support infact rather than assisting us they just said he had informed zoomcar and he can’t do any thing also he was extremely rude and acted as if he was doing a favour on giving us the car. On calling zoomcar i got no support and was told to get it fix yourself and the amount will be refunded and i will be getting the three hours extension. I wasted nearly 4 hours fixing the stepney and getting the punctured tyre repaired. The tyre had 6 punctures and total charge of rs 600 was paid and we ourself fixed the tyre working like mechanics for 3 hours. Also i would like to mention that the car was parked at a place which was total # and filled with litter, it was a place where the entire society threw their garbages.

                      Total spend for this was rs 600.

                      2. So we started our trip around 4 hrs late which was supposed to start at 6. Then on night of 13th april 2019 at around 10:00 pm the car suddenly stopped at a place and on opening the front bonnet there was some fumes coming from engine. We called zoomcar customer care and they each time said our team will call back in 10 minutes but after multiple efforts its seriously pathetic to say that we received no support from zoomcar. We called a local mechanic and tried to get it fixed but it took lot of time. We could not even travel to our hotel booked and had to book a new hotel again at same site where car broke down and pay again for the hotel. The car mechanic worked for almost whole night and then in morning at around 6:00 am he informed that car can be driven slowly. Then i got a call from zoomcar in morning 7 regarding towing of car etc but by that time the car was repaired. I paid rs 6000 after bargain for the work down. (Hand written note of the same has been taken from the mechanic as told to me by zoomcar).

                      Total spend for this was rs 6000.

                      3. Then while returning on 14th april 2019 people on the mid way stopped us and told that the back tyre on co driver side was bubbling and moving unevenly. We again called zoomcar and asked 3-4 mechanics all refused to fix it. Zoomcar again gave same reply to wait, our executive will call you and it again took 30-40 minutes for zoomcar to call. By that time we got one mechanic who could figure out the actual issue and fix it. He told some issue with brake pad rubber and it had to be replaced. Now for the third time i got it repaired and paid rs 1900 for it, that too with confirmation by zoomcar to refund it back.

                      Total spend for this was rs 1900.

                      4. I got fuel filled in car multiple number of times as for for nearly 1100 km drive that to on hilly terrain i was only provided with 6% of fuel. Total fuel filled in the car was rs 9500 which an suv will easily consume on hilly terrain for 1100 km. All the digital bills for the same have already been uploaded. Still after all this the entire amount of fuel has not been reimbursed nearly rs 5000 has been refunded for fuel. Also i would like to mention that i have returned the car with around 40% fuel where as i only got 6% fuel while picking up the car.

                      Total spend for this was rs 9500.

                      5. I took state permit o[censored]ttrakhand for rs 410.

                      Total spend for this was rs 410.

                      Total amount that needs to be reimbursed is rs 18410.

                      Problems faced by me are mentioned below and please provide me a solution to each one of them.

                      1. Late return charges applied to my account when i was already told that i will get 3 extra hours for getting the car in punctured condition.

                      2. Rs 10000 damage charges have been applied to my account when i did not even return the car, also there is no damage in the car. So kindly waive off rs 10000 damage charges.

                      3. Refund of fuel charges for rs 9500 as i had booked car with fuel so entire fuel amount should be reimbursed.

                      4. Tyre puncture charge of rs 600 has to be reimbursed.

                      5. Engine repair charge of rs 6000 has to be reimbursed.

                      6. Tyre bubbling repair charge of rs 1900 has to be reimbursed.

                      A total amount of rs 18410 has to be reimbursed and an amount of rs 11735 which have been wrongly applied has to be waived off.

                      Apart from this i would also like to mention that because of zoomcar and the vehicle provided my entire trip was wasted just getting the car repaired. I could not complete all the destinations planned. Due to which i could not even complete the entitled 1080 km’s for which i had already paid to zoomcar. I had to pay from hotel twice as i could not reach the already booked hotel as the car broke down midway.in all we faced a huge financial loss as well as we also faced a very big metal torture because of zoomcar.

                      Still now zoomcar is torturing me and not providing the refund which i am supposed to get. I have already paid the entire amount and now zoomcar is not refunding instead it is applying more and more penalty. So i request you to finally reimburse the entire amount at the earliest else i have to complaint to consumer forum for torturing me and not providing the services for which zoomcar has charged a hefty amount from me.

                      This was my first and worst and last experience with zoomcar totally pathetic and i would not prefer to recommend zoomcar to anyone in future.

                      Please find attached the screen shots and photos of all repairs and bills.

                      Hoping to get a proper solution to all my issues.

                        My booking id is that jps6bclon on 7th April 2019. First of they sent me a car with damaged exteriors and highly unclean interior with music system not in working condition. It was terrible experience to drive such a unclean and smelly car. I returned the car before time and logged in the necessary details to handing over. Later I was shocked to see a damage fees and inconvenience fees charged which is 4 times my actual fees. I have mailed customer care and tried reaching many times. On top, they have sent me first notice without even clarifying my query email. Zoom car gave me the worst driving experience for the first itself

                          I can't get my location... When I call to customer care executive she told me to get to another location where you get your car.. Then I go to that location there.. Also I didn't get my car... My booking was start on 11 am morning.. I was searching for my car.. They give me 3 location and on all that 3 location I didn't get my car.. She told me to wait for 15 min.. I am waiting for 1 hours still did not get any call.. Is this a false booking.. I have spend 1100 rupees to find my car on ola.. To move from one location to another.. Now what I do.. I cancel my booking then. .. 1100 doesn't matter

                            Hi day before yesterday i.e 12th april at night around 10pm we booked a car but on making 1st transaction it got failed dont know what was issue so we did 2nd and got booked successfully. We made trip with no damage to car and droped at a drop point withinits time periodand kms allotted.But next day checking bank details I got to know that ammount was deducted twice for the same booking i.e failed booking ammount was also deducted from bank.And mode of transaction was Net banking through SBI for both times. So please do help me out

                              I have booked a swift_at on zoomcar on the booking id jps6boury on 12th april 2019. The car was located near by my place and it parked in a remote area. I had seen this car before and there was a severe damage on the front.. And when i took the car, the zoomcar app shown the from portion is in perfect condition and i marked it as damaged and i wasn't been able to unlock the car and one of the customer representative from zoomcar unlocked manually and asked me to keep a photo of the front damage and km reading and i took the car. And the car's interior was dusty and completely unclean.
                              When i returned the car i wasn't been able to end the trip it was not showing any option to end the trip and i wasted around 2 hours trying to end the trip and none of the customer care agent picked up the call for the 2 and half hours.. Then i kept the key inside and locked the car manually.
                              And i don't know why, the next day the zoomcar app showing i had to pay rs1000 as cleaning fee.

                              I am sure i have brought back the car as in the exact same condition as i have taken.. And i have video recording of the time when i returned the car. And even after that they are not picking up the call and sends a lot of messages in every 2 hours saying to pay the outstanding amount 1000. And iam sure if i hadn't reported about the front portion damage.. They would definitely have said i made the damage and they would have charged around 10000 as damage charges.. This is how zoomcar makes money. And as i have all the proofs i will go to any extent and i won't pay the false amount.

                                This is in reference to the booking done on zoomcar. My booking id jps6bcxse from date 05/04/2019 to 07/04/2019.

                                Incident dated – 06/04/2019

                                During our trip, our front right side punctured. We removed that tyre and put the spare tyre which was available in the car. We found that the spare tyre was also punctured. As we were standing on mumbai expressway at lonavala, we immediately call on zoomcar ([protected]) which was not going through. We had left with no other option but to tow the car by private company (M/s swami samarth towing services).

                                We contacted owner of the car mr. Hemakar shetty, who guided us and also given direct line number[protected] of zoom car. He advised us to talk on given number and briefed them this scenario. We briefed to customer care but he said that he supposed to call zoom car before towing the vehicle. We told him that we tried and ready to share screenshot of mobile wherein zoomcar number was there. We told him that we stopped at puncture shop and we asked him to guide us on which he replied that we will check with our quality inspection team and they will come to location for inspection as vehicle is having gps.

                                We got the call from quality team after 20 mins and to him also we briefed him. He said to hold the phone and will check with his superior for solution. Finally he told me that to take bills from towing company. We seek advice from him whether to change tyre, for which he answered that to put new tyre and take a bill from him as well and upload it on zoomcar app after you trip completion. They also said, i will get reimbursed your amount within 2-3 days after trip completion.

                                We did the same as zoomcar customer care advised us. After completion of trip, we uploaded bills.

                                For towing, lonavala to talegaon: rs. 2, 700.00
                                For putting new tube and repair charges, rs. 1, 000.00
                                Total expenses: rs. 3, 700.00

                                After 3 days, we once got call from zoomcar stating that they cannot refund my amount of rs. 3700.00 as this claim in not valid.

                                Once again i am uploading pictures while towing, new tube, bill of towing and puncture bill for your reference.

                                Note: you can check customer care phone call recordings for more clearance and what they committed.

                                Kindly look into the above matter and reimburse my amount at the earliest.

                                  I had selected for pick up of vehicle from my given adress on 9march 11:00pm
                                  I received a call from zoomcar executive confirming my address around 10:00pm
                                  Then i waited till 11:30but no one showed up or dnt receive any call from zoom car regarding the pick up of vehicle and i called them regarding the delayed made by the zoomcar executive
                                  They told it will take an hour or more for the driver to reach my address or he will pick the car in the morning so i told them i will keep the keys in the car n u can lock from company's side and end my trip he confirmed by asking sir should i end the trip from your side n lock the car
                                  Then next morning i got a msg that i have due of 5348 i called customer care to resolve it i explained them n then they told they will cancel my due
                                  But now again am getting a mail after a month that legal steps will be taken if i dnt pay
                                  If the problem is not resolved thn i have all the prove to take lagal steps as well

                                    excess fee charged with no reimbursement of fuel

                                    I had booked a zoom car [ booking id : jps6boyq4], where the car promised had less than 10% fuel. I had re-fuelled it assuming that as per policy i will be reimbursed. Below are the problems faced:

                                    1. Customer support harassing me in the night, making me wait for 35 mins to get the car locked post completion of my hourly contract with them. This happened because of technical incompetence of their mobile app. They kept on arguing...

                                    I had booked a car on 30th march and zoomcar has charged 7000 inr as vehicle damage charges...
                                    But i regret this because already i had share every single proof photos videos that nothing has been done by me...
                                    I had gone personally to see the actual vehicle but was not allow to do so..
                                    Even the security guard denied to show cctv footage while we returned the car...

                                    Every time i drop a mail regarding this and zoomcar team is asking for 24 hour every time since 31st march...

                                    Rationale behind writing this mail is to get immediate support on this so that this issue could be resolve at the earliest...
                                    Also the payment was deducted without any intimation, i do not understand why these people have done this...

                                    I want my refund until the damage is confirm... Because this team every time tell my issue is under investigation...

                                    The video has been added to the time of returning the car, which shows that there is no damage, time of taken video-07:35pm, our trip was close on 08:00pm.
