I bought a split ac (Croma make) last year and the poor quality of installation services were provided. However, i didnt complaint in first go that their service engineers even took my hand tools (Hammer, plier etc) with them.
On 9th july i raised a complaint about no cooling and that water dipping has spoilt my wooden floor. The engineer came and i don't know what did he do, water was still dipping in and the cooling issue was not resolved.
For 2 months i was travelling, i came back and saw the same situation and raised the complaint with twitter id (On 11 sep) @cromaretail, i was promised that complaints would be resolved within few hours. Their engineers came again and said that installation was not proper, they have fixed the water dipping issue as it was due to no-insulation tape on gas pipe.
For cooling issue they said that earlier engineer has damaged the pipe and hence r22 gas leaked again. The support person said it would be handled on the chargeable basis only. Even their customer support executives on the phone were not supporting and just demanded money.
I really need to know whether it was my mistake to buy the locally made product, and ignoring the servicing part? It is a shameful state, on 11 sept i was told that by 12 sep noon, my issues were resolved. Now i get a message that i need to call their one of the executives, who never picks the phone. And that service engineer is on the way to my home (Without even notifying me) and that their executive will tell me about the charges involved.
What sort of dreamland, this company is living in? Do they think they can just reap out money without providing the right product and services in the first go?
I wish a stricter action to be taken.in case i need to send this complaint to somewhere else as well, please do let me know.
